Some dude sends rage-fuled autistic smoke signals to other people who respond in similar manner, they discuss inconsequential stuff in length, they will never meet each other in person.
The desert is infested roaming giant tribes that fight anything they see, and the centre of the desert is where it all began. Only the strongest of the giants can compete at the desert's eye while the others are forced to wander the desert.
Defeat the two strongest giants, and the hot tub is yours to enjoy.
A magical storm of glass and sand caused from the death of a fire creature long ago. Getting near the storm threatens your health, for if you breath in that glass particulate matter, it cuts your lungs and no light healing can simply eject that from the body, much like how healing with a knife in you doesn't push the knife out.
It's an entrance to the underdark.
A party member has a cursed item that attracts zealous goblin slaves to chase after an item they carry like moths to a flame and destroy any town between them and the item.
>What transpires at the center of the desert's eye?
There's a gigantic pit, unfathomably deep.
It's a drain. The entire caldera is a hot tub for a god.
Literally nothing, just megalithic cairn that's thousands of years old marking the spot. It seems to have been tradition at various times to write your name on it and there are tens of thousands of them on there, plus who knows how many more that have faded away into nothing. The desert dwellers hold a reverence for it, and it's said that visitors can feel the weight of time pressing down on them, but nobody ever goes there now.
Since that Desert is clearly a huge Caldera, I'm going to say some kind of volcanism...
Or at least geothermal activity fueling those two guys' Natural Hot Tub.
>Could also be a crater.
Eh, the the relative size of the Ridge and the apparent presence of liquid water makes me think Caldera; Craters of that size wouldn't have as defined a Rim in that kind of environment...
Nothing, it's literally just a neat geographic curiosity. However, because it is such a curiosity, people constantly mount expeditions or enact rituals there to unlock the "secret of the Desert's Eye", thinking there's a lost city, a source of magical power, a gate to another world, or something equally silly, even though nothing of note is there.
That means the only things to find there are the remains of those trying to find whatever it may hide and didn't manage return for one reason or another, like running into another expedition and getting killed, dying to disease or lack of supplies, or just running afoul of the wildlife, enticing even more people to try and comb it for whatever may be there, even though, once more, there is nothing there to warrant that attention.

They're 5 feet apart because they're not gay.
Gay sex parties.
In the case of pic related, a city sized fishbowl.
Is the fishbowl also invisible?
Dude just means it's a crater. He's wrong though, because it's two blokes sitting in a hot tub.
So is the hot tub in a fishbowl, or is the fishbowl in a hot tub?
they could reasonably have a fishbowl with them, sure.
Perhaps the hot tub *is* a fishbowl?
I feel that's stretching the definition of both fishbowl and hot tub.
Not if the fellas happen to be tropical fish.
I mean a fishbowl. As in a bowl where fish live. Inverted and city-sized. There's a city in the bowl. The fish live in the city.
The Sacred Thumpin' Grounds.

Someone should go get that water
It's an endorheic basin and therefore extremely salty. Also that's probably where the waste fishbowl water goes.
ah yes, /tg/
And deny the bros chilling in a hot tub fresh water?
It's such a small amount of water though, barely sufficient for ants
