The combat is actually very solid, spells feel good and impactful. Literally nothing else is good, loot is pretty much copy paste from d3 and the inventory is smaller than even d2's even worse if you consider charms. End game is walmart brand poe mapping and wow's world quests.

No trade no buy
Trading is for b***hes and bots
trading is terrible, kys
Diablo ended at D2.
Its D3.5.
Wake me up when anything is better than Chronicon.
Have you tried hero siege, it's actually pretty fun. It's jank as shit but fun
"Jank as shit" is an understatement, the game controls like kentucky fried ass and is a complete visual mess.
>Chronicon.
cringe
It's not D3.5
There are no Rifts.
Open world. Dungeons. Mini dungeons. World Bosses. Mini bosses. Nightmare Dungeons. Helltides. Fortresses. World PVP. World events. Side quests. That doesn't include campaign.
All D3 had going for it was Bounties and rifts.
Imagine thinking anyone gives a shit about Blizzard's troony goyslop in 2022.
Bot
shill
Chew that cud homosexuals.
On the plus side the male rogue is my new boyfriend
I really like the character customization
you can make every fantasy stereotype in high fidelity
Except for dwarves ofc
can i make big hairy beefy bara boyfriends?
Not extremely hairy but yeah
This, but with female necromancer instead(not the dyke one from the trailers, the one from the artwork).
Is rogue just the D4 version of demon hunter, or can I make an actual full melee build?
This game is litetally copypasta of Diablo 3, take a guess
You can go full melee and even as a bow build it doesn't really feel that much like the demon hunter
>doesn't really feel that much like the demon hunter
Dude, abilites look exactly the same as DH's, they changed nothing.
I mean a bow is going to shoot arrows so i guess
FRICK YES, I hate how most ARPGs """rogues""" are glorified archers, so I'm very glad it isn't the case here. Still gonna wait for reviews, but between true rogues and skelebro goon army necromancer, D4 now has my full attention.
I'm not sure who you are trying to convince
>nuBlizzard
I know without a doubt that it'll be mtx-ridden gutter trash without even needing to know how the game's called
PoE addicts are so terrified and hyper butt blasted at this game, it's unreal. Their game is going to collapse once D4 launches.
Are they? They seem unhappy with poe
>They seem unhappy with poe
people who play poe are inherently unhappy. if they were happy they wouldn't play poe
That's moronic
He's right though. Everyone is unhappy with poe, but the addicts who twist reality to justify one shit league after another. You have morons en masses being suckered out of money and proudly post their mtx purchases when ever a league bombed. These fricking freaks can't hold their wallet still for one fricking moment. Imagine what will happen when a rivaling games threatens theirs.
I assume people like that would just drop poe and whale in d4 for a while if it's actually a decent game. You make it sound like morons like that have some kind of allegiance to anything and not just finely tuned coping skills for any garbage they play
sad to see reddit whiners making their way here. sentinel was a great league, everybody agrees. kalandra is whatever. but i guess you are a "90% less loot" and "filler craft" moron, even though those are easily proved to be lies directed at chris-god amongst some never seen before subreddit mass hysteria.
poe has more content than the top 3 arpg games combined, and it has a team of intelligent developpers who understand that catering to the needs of players is the most efficient way to get an extremely mediocre product (see: diablo 3 and soon 4). poe isn't here to make you feel good about yourself, it's here to give you a challenge. if you aren't happy with it, go back to d3 and never come back. poe2 is going to make you seethe so hard, i can't wait.
>gambling for 0.0001% drops or paying the bot farms
>challenge
lmao
ah yes, let's reduce the arpg with the most in-depth itemisation to a single 0.0001% drop, surely that will prove a point.
It's artificial complexity, the skill tree may seem daunting to morons but it's just a bunch of incremental passive bullshit that could be condensed a lot without losing any complexity.
i won't spam this d4 thread any further with poe talk after this reply, but i have to say i love how i talk specifically about itemisation and your reply is about the skill tree???? (yeah it's not that complex i agree).
Itemization is a meme
>item stats doesn't matter in a game about item stats
lmao
poe is a build autism simulator. if building your character doesn’t have the same level of depth in diablo 4 then poe will be fine.
>poe is a build autism simulator
ummm sweaty nowadays you just copy one of the few streamer-approved meta builds or you're hard stuck once you try to go past the baby content
it's actually pretty funny just how badly the devs continue to frick things up with every new league
>meta builds
only matters if you’re trying to do ubers in HCSSF. guess what? only like 3 people did that shit in 3.19 so just play whatever the frick you want
Id rather play D3
Except that because PoE is balanced around tradecore paying a cuck shit build is just awful
>accidentally go down one of the 700 wrong branches
>oh guess you'll have to reroll, that skill isn't end game viable 🙂
Nice game
I hate that shit so much. Anyone saying that every skill is viable is fricking moronic. Meta skills scale tremendously better and are easier to gear, while everything else needs double the grind, on top of being slower and poorer due to amassing currency slower. Terrible design and the game is only a husk of what it once was.
>Meta skills scale tremendously better and are easier to gear, while everything else needs double the grind, on top of being slower and poorer due to amassing currency slower
the real sin here is that this is a solveable problem through producing gear that lets those skills scale while excluding skills that already do. That they haven't done so means that the developer is incredibly lazy.
>Normie/casual bait
>With only 3 stats
>Taking away from PoE audience
You are moronic
I hope d4 is good so it wakes chris the frick up. More competition for arpg is good. Only consumers benefit from more competition.
But I'm not a consumer, I'm a patrician.
Charms don't have a dedicated inventory like in last epoch? I sense an opportunity to sell a product...
Its fricking Diablo Immortal.
just leak the videos
how do you get in this gay beta? I have been playing grim dawn but it doesnt scratch the itch
I never understood the definition of "goyslop" until playing D4. It literally has no reason to exist other than self-sedation.
I got a spooky skeleton horse skin off of a world boss
You don't need to make a good game any more if you've already put your name out there long ago and have homosexual ass streamers promoting the shit out of your product for free
Is Diablo even in the game?
Probably, or is Lilith demon girl the only super villain? Can't imagine, probably going to resurrect him in one way or another.
Chocolate sorceresses!
god I love fictional black women
>that face
That's a man.
Fun game but the Diablo IP will make Ganker hate it no matter what
Open World aspect is ass devs need to stop that fricking shit
I'm concerned that all their endgame mechanics are just going to end up being greater rifts all over again.
The endgame will be something derivative of wow. Every product they've made lately is some derivation of wow. Shitty, pointless, mobage minigame style gameplay. Blizzard are incapable of making a real game. Their developers are 50% marketers and 50% outsourced south East Asian code farms
How is the pvp?
Almost nobody has been doing it in my experience but my few fights have been bone spirit one shotting people
god damn that fricking sucks OP, hope something changes...
>end game mechanics
>I wonder what the end game is
>How does the end game stack up
Blizzard really do have a type don't they when it comes to customers. The mindbroken gear-treadmill grind fanbase.
These types of games should not have an end game. You start, you play through it, you find weird/fun/unique gear that opens up new possibilities for builds. You finish the game. You start again on the same class/a new class with that gear. Repeat.
>doing the same shit at level cap? BAD
>doing the same shit below level cap? GOOD?
not sure I understand the argument. why is being a hobo inherently better?
Completely different experience playing through a campaign and leveling to being max level, but I understand your mindbroken cuck brain cant comprehend it.
mindlessly clicking enemies to death in diablo 2 on normal is some surpassing experience then, my buzzword spewing moron?
Yeah it is, because games are more than just the "gameplay loop". Or they used to be.
The positive with this is that it will most likely have a much longer campaign as you won't be restarting from act 1 over and over to reach max level. There will be a big world to explore with tons of dungeons, world bosses and pvp zones. It seems better suited for people like me that don't care too much about the loot casino.
Lmao it won't have any of that.
Why should I believe you?
Even their flagship rpg, wow, hasn't had that for 15 years
WoW has a big world full of stuff to do and an endgame, you won't have to play through the zones multiple times to level up either. What are you talking about?
No it doesn't you fricking idiot, it had a big world full of stuff to do but every expansion ignored it in favour of instanced minigames
Damn right it has a big open world and an endgame, you basically confirmed what I said.
That's my take on it too but for others the only purpose in these games is to endlessly grind for .00001% chance drops.
I agree. At the very least, if that's the route they're going, it should be added after release, now the quality of the campaign is probably compromised in favor of the endgame grind
And you can totally do that.
The game kinda ended at level 50 for me once I completed cathedral and unlocked tier 3 and nightmare dungeons. I don't know. Not really interested in grinding gear much beyond that right now. Especially when the game keeps spitting out gear that's 10 levels too low.
Who the frick cares for video game stories? Arpgs were always about building a character, finding interesting gear interactions and bossing. If you wanted a story focused game, you should have always looked somewhere else or take a book in your hand.
t. Shitter who didnt even beat Metal Gear Rising Revengeance.
Never played it. Don't own a console.
It runs on PC you dumb idiot.
I honestly can't imagine that the story is anything ground breaking.
plebe
I just want Lilith to be neutral and have some depth to her motivations. She doesn't need to be a big bad evil fem Diablo replacement. Allying with her would be a cool twist.
>le evil is not evil
>le good is not good
There's no saving Diablo story. It's just not authentic after the "worldbuilding" of the third game. Diablo 1 and 2 were lightning in a bottle.
The only thing that makes a looter ARPG interesting is a robust trade platform. JSP facilitates that for D2. They clearly won't have that for D4 so it's just going to be another D3 stat stick thing that will instantly become boring.
that's been apparent in all of the diablo games - the combat kicks ass and it's why people keep going back to it
>loot is pretty much copy paste from d3
what does this mean and entail ?
the gameplay consists of spending 20 hours to acquire a "+10000% damage to this one ability" set so you can wipe screens 20% quicker
is this type of bonus confirmed to be in d4 or are you exagerating to make a point?
If an item has a green arrow it's good, if it has a red arrow thats bad
Im poggin
I don't like that item power shit, but at least that shako is almost a 1:1 port of the d2 version.
>lfm baal runs 4k+ gearscore
lol, at least they're trying to make affixes and not just +ATTACK +DEFENSE
Lmao where's the fingerless glove meter? Awful visual design, reminds me of the dumb Diablo items I used to make up in school.
Also
>Percentages less than 1
Account bound items... no trading.. yawn.
No trading keeps the bots and p2w whales away. Goodbye Xing Ping, nobody will miss you.
Enjoy your dead game
Bots don't keep games alive, they turn them into undead zombies.
>bound items
doa
see
Sounds great, I've never played Diablo so I'm looking forward to it more! Nothing to compare it to I'm going in fresh and ready to enjoy all the grizzly dark hordes of demons with my brooks and the gf 😀
broskis*
I'm looking forward to walking around at a fixed speed spamming a couple of abilities while waiting for the mobs to die so I can pick up their loot and do it all over again marginally faster. God I love these incremental arpgs.
If the game would be centred around looped gameplay and numbers porn, fine, people like it but sadly this diablo 3.5 is all about cash shop and I can't wait to see people screeching about non official or maybe official pay walls. Once again it's a B2P game with fricking cash shop and possibly P2W mechanics.
I rather they focused more on the action elements and less on the numbers, D4 was initially planned to be a third person ARPG/Soulslike but they ended up copying D3 with a new skin. Very disappointing, but I shouldn't expect much from someone so creatively bankrupt as Blizzard.
I would really fricking hate it if they made Diablo 4 a soulslike.
Why? It could be sick, a game you actually have to learn how to play instead of mindlessly clicking everything.
I like games like Diablo and I don't like games like Dark Souls.
Alright then. I like games like Diablo and I like games like Dark Souls, they would make a really cool baby. Something like Nioh but less weeb.
My guess is that the cheapest Indian company they found to produce this turd didn't know how to do souls, not that it changes anything... Or maybe it would change for worse cause souls games are unplayable garbage. Anyway, cash shop in, account out, frick nu-blizzard.
First off, Souls are overrated. Second, Blizzard doesn't have it in them to make a third person ARPG the way people would want them to while still feeling like Diablo.
They could try, better than making Diablo 3.5. They're already working on a third person action survival craft whatever game and they've made a couple of shooters so they definitely can, they just don't dare because the jaded Diablo boomers will say mean things about it on twitter.
>omfg they could do extra action diablosoulscallofduty 4 instead of this, my parents cant wait to pay for my loot box addiction.
Dumb post, the Souls games never had microtransactions and neither should Diablo.
Look I hope someone makes that game for you but I don't want it to be a mainline installment in a series that's always been something else.
I would love to watch people seethe about their franchises changing directions but I'd be fine with a spinoff I guess.
>mfw i'm gonna play day one on Hardcore mode
Links to any leaks? I know there have been a few where do I see them
found some here
nothing that interesting
https://bunkr.is/a/GQDUcZFj
never mind I found 🙂
https://gofile.io/d/1WcDBe
They turned it into some weird faux-mmo.
When I play Diablo I don't want a fricking theme park mmo with diablo combat.
Blizzard can tongue my anus.
Frick that company and frick all you homosexuals that forgot the last few years of abuse that company hurled at us the instant they waved the latest fomobait in front of your goldfish memory homosexual ass.
Any info about system requirements?
Im running it on a mid tier laptop at like 80% graphics with no issues
Why do you gays keep giving blizz money and time?
they hate you.
Everyone chooses their own form of addiction.
Have actual skill trees been confirmed?
There are skill trees and it works pretty similarly to d2's actually
Does it still have all the additional effects based on stat thresholds stuff? I liked the idea of that in the preview.
I wanna play.
Gimme.
>The combat is actually very solid, spells feel good and impactful. Literally nothing else is good
If the combat is good, everything else being mediocre is acceptable.
That's pretty why I still play Lost Ark, everything is Korean MMO garbage, but the combat is so good that I stock with it despite the numerous flaws
That's pretty why I stock with it too
ARPGs cannot into mechanically skill based combat for some reason. It's like every single one has been mind broken by PoE and must emulate it. Or maybe the player base just wants to zoom zoom one click spam everything forever as their definition of fun. I dunno which it is. All I know is that beating D3 pre nerf Inferno was so incredibly satisfying because of how hard it was and I want more games like that.
I wish the game was D3:RoS classes and skills with D3 original difficulty, except much harder before Inferno.
Oh and some fricking mechanical depth for weapons and how they interact with skills would be nice and make attributes have real choice and impact and make damage types matter at all and make the game look at least on par with Heroes of the Storm in quality and FRICKING MUSIC
>make damage types matter at all
nah, that shit's gay
Upcoming GOTY
>loot is pretty much copy paste from d3
loot is the worst part of the dumbing down they did in d3. Shows they learned fricking nothing.
>blizzard product after 2010
yep into the trash it stays forever and ever.
Thank god, Ganker shitters won't be playing D4
Post new leaks.
I'm having too much fun playing the beta to risk getting kicked out or worse. Sorry you didn't make the beta. It really is a blast.
the only thing I liked about the end result of 3 is its speed and fluidity. A lot of it was a poor sidegrade or downgrade in the end and from their quarterly updates I expect D4 to be a 4:1 ratio of D3:D2
eh , no bawdmogs , pass
There's one chest strap for necro
no attractive women
pass
>one maybe sexy article for a flatty
Game is saved I tell you
yes flat justice will save us all
I bet the loose transmogs are all low level and from seasonal rewards
Do the right hand weapons hit physically the enemies? Is your main attack again an energy attack? Does the game prevent me this time to become an Xman and blact everything with capeshit lazers?
>prevent
You mean force, right?
I can nerf myself on skills but it's not as fun when the game is designed so that you get max rewards with pulverising everything.
I refuse to play any game by Pozzard
I don't really like the VFX looks really shitty.
Wo Long is the true Diablo successor
Isn't that more of a dark souls clone?
I'm having fun.
When is it coming to gamepass lol, I might try it our on my Xbox but I would never buy this on pc after Diablo 3.
Well that's expected and unfortunate. Blizzard only knows how to make one kind of game.
I would be happy if Diablo 4 was a pay once, beat three times, move on type game if it was actually good.
It won't be any of that, which is the problem.
Here's a pro tip, play as long as you want and then drop the game.
So for zero minutes because it's a bad game designed for grindy endgame?
Ok got it.
No.
There's no change in the plan.
Bye.
Skill rune system was one of the interesting parts of Diablo 3 and I hate how it has been dropped from both Immortal and 4.
d3's writing was so bad that it was actually farcical. Why they can't just hire edgy writers I will never know. holy FRICK did it ruin the game for me.
>in before LMFAO WHO CARES IT'S DIABLO
no all of us are playing for a 10k hour grind, I just want a cool demonic game with interesting environments a serious dialogue.
The worst part wasnt the writing itself. Diablo just doesnt function with a plot that makes you stop and watch cutscenes or for the plot to advance during cutscenes where you just stand back and watch.
Diablo main game has to have
>the crisis has already happened and you're seeing the results
Diablo 3 doesnt do this. There's a new fricking crisis all the time and shit just keeps getting worse even with you on the scene
>story progression involving "going deep" into hostile environment
Diablo 3 mostly does this but plays up your power so fricking much it's silly, also interrupts you with dialogue from villains constantly
>Optional dialogue where the characters give their opinions
Really hamstrung in Diablo 3 by the fact the characters have to engage in tedious conversation instead of just saying their peace and moving on. The format is just not as flavorful.
>Dark and edgy tropes
Diablo 3 makes these look like a mandatory in-joke rather than horror because of how forced it all is in a game where you're a walking god of power.
