But it's not a game that's trying to be Aliens. The nest is cool, but it's out of place. The lack of a Queen always seemed pretty jarring given that's what you're expecting after finding the nest.
now I just want an alien isolation sequel but set in an engineer ship with deacons running around
Or just scorn but more focused on survival horror and less on puzzles
you are moronic. I hate people who play games now and only finish it because thye feel they have to. If you arent having fun then just stop and take a break, its not a difficult concept to grasp. There is no such thing as a game being too long, you are just autistic or something. Unironically touch grass.
not him, i loved this game, but it definitely is oppressing in it's length. it feels like a solid design choice though, and immediately after finishing it, i still couldn't think of a place that i would have ended it at.
Awful take. The game never gets bad enough to outright drop, but it definitely loses its lustre in the last couple hours. It doesn’t help that the game repeatedly baits you into thinking you’re at the climax, only to reveal you still have hours left.
This. It's more a pacing problem than a length problem. Too many ups and downs, and the low of the android uprising after the adrenaline rush that is the lab pod did irreparable damage to the way many see it.
it didn't help that the androids were also so uninteresting to fight or evade, and there is a massive chunk of the game dedicated to just them which really just kills the tension and pacing
>alien isn't tethered to the player >now the game is fixing Sevastopol simulator with an occasional interruption from the alien
If you're a pussy just don't play horror games.
I finished the game in about 12 hours on hard, but I heard that it takes longer than 20 for many people. The best tactic is to keep moving at a steady pace and not get bogged down in stealth.
yes
Wow, you've been filtered REAL hard.
It did?
My man, the game carries on for like 4 hours more after that and those 4 hours are awful
>After the lab
FTFY
nah, the nest is Alien 2 action kino

Sequel with prequel creatures when?

no, the devs are too busy making zoomer cash shop live service game
I'd prefer a game where we play as a Xeno. The campaign in AvP 2010 was pure kino.
so carrion but you're just a xeno? Sounds like it could be kino honestly

When you blow up the nest. That’s the obvious end point.

i just disagree idk
I'm not gonna fight you over it
This game sucked and the alien's stupid tether to the player sucked
>alien isn't tethered to the player

don't stop at every locker for no reason next time
The glass hallway in the middle of two rooms section, that's definitely the most kino part of the game mechanically speaking. Terrifying concept.
