>>b-but shepard m-muh war obsessed breeding crazed people need to breed more and create so many krogan that they become a threat to the galaxy again
The irony is that you can't recognize your own species. You can't see that this the same exact behavior as Humanity, but given a reptile appearance.
Humans don't breed nearly as rapidly, and statistically cannot emulate the krogran way of life because of a multitude of evolutionary and societal factors.
If humans had thousands of kids per birth and were roided up retards, I would approve of us getting Genophage'd as well.
Krogans and humans are not the same, retard. Not in the slightest.
Humans dont breed at a rate of 1000 kids per year per pairing.
Humans dont have the blood rage, or a base, instinctual need for constant violence that almost every human desires to fight and kill.
Humans didnt nuke their own culture and homeworld into oblivion, and even if they had they certainly wouldn't be fucking proud of it like the krogan are.
Humans didnt declare an unprovoked war of genocide on the rest of the galaxy while dropping asteroids on colonies.
The genopahge was so weirdly written to me. Like for example, quarians are called thieves or whatever, but you never any of them do anything actually illegal, hell, you don't even kill la single quarian in the game I think only Garrus does in a dossier. So they're obviously meant to be sympathetic. It's only in legion's memories the quarians are portrayed as more morally ambiguous.
But the genophage? The way Mordin's loyalty mission is written it's clear paragon Shepard is meant to drag his ass for the moral ramifications of the genophage, like how Garru's mission has no conflict if Shepard isn't paragon and ok with him killing Sidonis instead of being his conscience.
But the problem is Mordin repeatedly explains they DID take the social effect of the genophage into account and was their last resort. Shepard has neither the evidence nor the moral high ground to imply he's in the wrong, not to mention, every single krogan we've met except for Wrex is a complete brute.
Why does the game expect me to act like the genophage was a war crime while also having a literal single power couple the only thing standing between a Krogan starting a renaissance instead of a second krogan rebellion?
I think it's to make it a grey conflict instead of just a clear cut "this bad, you bad"? I mean sure, nearly sterilizing a whole fucking species sounds like the war crime to end all war crime, but would you think the same if you knew most members of this species are knuckle dragging neanderthals with a boner for war and genocide?
The actual war crime was uplifting that warmongering species for the sole purpose of waging a war they had no stake in. Giving neanderthals nuclear warheads but then expecting them to put them down, and in the end handicapping the whole species for a thousand years so the grudge against other species became a constant in their life even after those events are long in the past, making it a self-perpetuating cycle of hatred. Genophage was supposed to be a deterrence weapon but after it was deployed nobody wanted to take the responsibility for the now toothless uplifted pets.
This, the council basically just try to solve a immediate problem by introduce another long term problem. Like if the council actually care, they would just let the Genophage be a temperate punishment for the Krogan while try to uplift their culture to match their technological advancement. But instead they did nothing and let the resentment build up.
Doesnt wrex straight up say that he doesn't really care about fixing the geno shit? If I recall he's the one who flatly tells you that most Krogan are mouth breathing retards who want to do nothing but fight
Wrex said that there is no point in curing the Genophage as long as the Krogan don't change their way. Wrex entire character is that he got exiled because he is against his people old way of thinking(his dad to be more specific). By the time Shepard met him in Mass Effect 1, he already gave up that dream but Shepard encourage him to take up the task of changing the Krogan again.
Did you miss the part where every reasons Mordin gave is just him coping with the effect of the Genophage. The Genophage is the best option AT THE MOMENT IT WAS DEPLOYED. However time changed and the council did nothing to address the problem or try to help the Krogan change, they just gave the problem a bandage.
The COVID was so weirdly written to me. Like for example, garden gnomes are called thieves or whatever, but you never any of them do anything actually illegal, hell, you don't even kill la single garden gnome in the game I think only Moustache Man does in a dossier. So they're obviously meant to be sympathetic. It's only in libtard's memories the garden gnomes are portrayed as more morally ambiguous.
But the COVID. The way Klaus's loyalty mission is written it's clear paragon Normie is meant to drag his ass for the moral ramifications of the COVID like how Moustache Man's mission has no conflict if Shepard isn't paragon and ok with him killing Sidonis instead of being his conscience.
But the problem is Klaus repeatedly explains they DID take the social effect of the genophage into account and was their last resort. Shepard has neither the evidence nor the moral high ground to imply he's in the wrong, not to mention, every single human we've met except for Wrex is a complete brute.
Why does the game expect me to act like the COVID was a war crime while also having a literal single power couple the only thing standing between a Human starting a renaissance instead of a second human rebellion?
>Why does the game expect me to act like the genophage was a war crime
Because it is. Even if you agree with the reasons, it's still by all definition a genocide. What's worse, it's a genocide sanctioned by the entire galaxy. You say that Mordin took the social effect into account, but so what? Would you let some other species genocide you because they told you that they calculated that it's actually what's best for you?
>>b-but shepard m-muh war obsessed breeding crazed people need to breed more and create so many krogan that they become a threat to the galaxy again

Ja, est ist zo.
Dhu must understand. Culling the number of the goyim is the only way.
They must become unable to have kids.
It is the only way to ensure peace and prosperity.
I definitely became less sympathetic to the Krogans when I learned that their normal breeding rate is 1000 spawn in a year and so by cutting their reproduction to 0.1% Mordin just made it so that they had one child a year. Before that I thought it was like one child in an entire community each year. But if a Krogan male and female could reproduce at the same rate as a Human couple then there was absolutely nothing stopping them from living fulfilling family lives even with the Genophage in effect.
Well yeah, so change their way of life. Say "maybe we shouldn't murder each other for everything anymore, since there are so few of us" rather than "we need more bodies to murder."
I cure the genophage with the full intent to have the Krogan settle on Asari worlds after the Reaper war.
The new council will be Human, Turian, Krogan, Salarian, Elcor, Hanar, Volus, Vorcha, Varren and shifty cow.
Asari can fuck off.
>Krogan people are scattered, suicidal, and see no hope for the future.
Purely fiction of course. Krogan genocide is a myth created by Krogan supremacists.
>Shepard, I have new information for you and your team. >Our science teams have found a new way to further humanity's interests, this is the intel. >Despite their low population numbers compared to other Milky Way species, it is now verified that Batarians are responsible for over half of the violent felonies in Council Space. >The path forward is clear. >Kill Batarians! >Behead Batarians! >Roundhouse kick a Batarian into the concrete! >Slam dunk a Batarian baby into the trash can! >Crucify filthy Batarians! >Remove Batarian eyes! >Launch Batarians into Geth Space! >Stir fried Batarians in a wok! >Toss Batarians into active volcanoes! >Throw Batarians into a wood chipper! >Twist Batarians heads off! >Report Batarians to the Spectres! >Karate chop Batarians in half! >Curb stomp pregnant Batarian women! >Trap Batarians on Tuchanka! >Crush Batarians in the trash compactor! >Liquefy Batarians in a vat of acid! >Send Collectors after Batarians! >Stomp Batarian skulls with titanium toed boots! >Mandatory abortions for Batarians! >Grind Batarian fetuses in the garbage disposal! >Dry Batarians in fried chicken grease! >Vaporize Batarians with biotics! >Kick old Batarians down the stairs! >Feed Batarians to Krogan! >Slice Batarians with an Omni-Blade! >See it through Shepard, for Humanity.
Two biggest fuck-ups in Mass Effect's universe is making the Krogan shit out 1000 eggs at once and retconning the Geth into being good boys who dindu nuffin despite wiping out 99% of the Quarian population on their first day of being sentient.
You know, I believe in Wrex command, he is capable of making them not a threat. At least not a one if you dont kick them too much, with time they will understand the krogan reproduction rate maybe is a bit too big and understand the overpopulation problem
At least krogans can think, not like certain worm roaches.
Either way, did you know, quarian has the biggest rate of completion on mass effect 1 in Xbox achievements.
Over every other. Just saying. Garrus is the second one.
And mass effect 4 should be a reality, Im not playing Andromeda, nuh uh
I've been trying to play Andromeda for the past week and a bit. It's just okay.
There is so much about it I hate, like the Tempest feeling more like a porn set than a state-of-the-art scouting/science vessel, the Krogans being around because they just took all the good boys, absolutely everything about the Angara, and how meaningless are the endless sidequests that mostly rely on blatant emotional blackmail for you to complete them.
But the combat is okay, I guess. Only paid $2 for it.
No, I'm fuzzy on the timeline but I'm pretty sure the Andromeda Initiative leaves the Milky Way before ME3 begins, and it takes place over 600 years later and in another galaxy so nothing that happens would matter either way.
Andromeda could have been a decent excuse for a clean slate, but the groundwork is so bad I don't really want it.
There are Quarians in Andromeda, but they're still on their ark and hiding because of reasons. So you don't actually interact with them.
A possible Andromeda 2 thing, I suppose.

>You know, I believe in Wrex command, he is capable of making them not a threat
Anyone who actually believes this is fucking delusional. A single person can't tard wrangle an entire species, especially one about to get a massive increase in population growth. The Krogan without the Genophage could number in the trillions with only a couple of generations. Do you honestly think he can keep so many people on the same page?
Its the Krogan, he is the Krogan Shepard, he is seen with respect, and as a hero, maybe it will bit our ass once he dies, but meanwhile? Yea he will learn some stuff about overpopulation or 2
You think Joker would be throwing up high fives every time Shep bangs Tali and she has to take a sick day afterwards, but she keeps coming back for more?
Of course, when you choose to leave Ashley on the ground instead of getting her on the ship he fucking gets off the chair and salutes you
Joker is based
There have been NO proof of that chance, and what about turians and quarians, they look a lot more different, quarians are look more like human, watch fleet and flotilla, moron
It wasn't a mistake. Krogan are worse than Rachni because at least Rachni attacked when provoked and indoctrinated. The only mistake here was lack of care after the genophage got deployed, the Krogan should've been culturally subverted or reverted back to peaceful dindu shamanistic tribes so in case the cure is ever needed the same scenario that led to it wouldn't have played out.
Batarian >decide to fuck of to their corner of the Galaxy in as tantrum, and closeoff all relation with the rest of the Galaxy
Krogan >everywhere but on Tutchanka, keep complaining about how the genophage is the sole reason they are going extinct, while at the same time killing each others over petty dispute
Hmm...
they are literally a race of gigachuds who rightfully told the rest of the galaxy to fuck off and consistently humiliate and prove the council’s impotence simply by existing.
There have been NO proof of that chance, and what about turians and quarians, they look a lot more different, quarians are look more like human, watch fleet and flotilla, moron
Calm down, Tali. All that salt will contaminate your suit.
Does anyone else feel like such a schizo playing Mass Effect? I really can't decide if I want to do Paragon or Renegade. I like my Shep being mean and aggressive and borderline psychotic, but I don't like choosing those option when in regular conversations or when talking with my companions. So the only time I go psycho is a few times with bad guys. It sucks because the morality system is so rigid that I'm getting points almost equally into both Paragon and Renegade but that means eventually I won't be able to pass skillchecks for either. Sad.
i never did a full renegade playthrough because the renegade options are just fucking stupid and make the story dumb. the whole thing is basically "im an edgelord teehee"
The Reapers built the mass relays and the foundation of the setting's technology. Destroying them is like burning the library of Alexandria.
Good job handing the Reapers the galaxy on a silver platter, dumbass.
>Shepard is totally indoctrinated and can't be trusted! >That's why you're able to completely destroy the Reapers if you so choose! They're brainwashing you into it!

What Reapers built was a convenient way to control the ways civilizations develop. It shouldn't be treated as something good.

Ignoring the fact that the fiction itself has a no-limits fallacy written into it that forces Synthesis as the only ending that actually solves the in-universe problems. The writers outright tell you that organics will always create synthetics, those synthetics will develop sentience and will eradicate their creators. The AI tells you this, the Leviathans tell you this, the Protheans tell you this, Javik even confirms all those statements are true by saying it has happened countless times without variation. So Mass Effect has a law written into its lore that states organic and synthetic life will eventually wipe each other out period. Destroy doesn't stop this problem. A few billion years down the line the galaxy will have new Reapers which will probably be even stronger. Control doesn't solve the problem. Same scenario as before, cycle will happen again and Reapshep will get BTFO by superior synthetics. Synthesis solves the core problem that the writers have posed. Organics cannot be wiped out by synthetics and vice versa if everything is both organic and synthetic as a baseline. Cycle is solved. It's lame that only one ending really changes anything because the writers forced this "but ackshually" catch 22 into the in-universe rules. Any argument other than synthesis can be shut down by a simple "but that doesn't change anything the cycle continues." That's my biggest gripe with the endings actually. The other 2 literally don't matter because the writers don't allow them to.

The organics always lose in the end. That's the problem. Even if you destroy them, eventually new stronger ones will show up and wipe out humanity just like they did with Protheans. That's literally written into the lore by the hacks at BioWare. It's obvious how badly they wanted to force Synthesis.

The tarded races in Mass Effect can't stop doing it because the dumbass writers who wanted to force their 2 deep ending on us said so. Hopefully in 4 they give us some actual closure that makes sense but looking at the team working on it I don't have high hopes.
Legion is dead, and Joker will have to end up building himself another waifu, but im not making Tali sad, Im destroying so I have a chance to survive and come back
Ironic. Scientist makes correct dicision at the time, data, models, empirical observation all inform correct course of action. Krogan unchecked, bad for galaxy. No variance observed in this fact. Scientist develops conscience over past actions from observing former colleague's wasting of life. Data must be destroyed, morally and ethically untenable. Correct decision at the time. Scientist later becomes emotionally involved because of complete outlier. Science no longer applicable, personal biases cloud judgement on sound reasoning. Scientist wishes to undo necessary action, forcing his dear friend and brother in arma to end his life before grave mistake can he made...
Mordin switching up on the Genophage and the rest of the Genophage stuff is actually kind of based. The disease only affects pregnancies, where the Krogan babies die in the womb as stillbirths, but it's rare to have games these days admit that babies dying in the womb is a bad thing and shouldn't happen. Mordin goes from a standard pro-abortion zogbot to a hardline pro-life advocate. Very based character development.
I just played Mass Effect 1 and Saren mentions that Sovereign gave him some "improvements" and that the "union of flesh and machine" was peak evolution. He's indoctrinated, but he's telling us that the Synthesis Ending is the best. That makes it pretty obvious to me that Synthesis is not a good ending and probably just another way for the Reapers to eventually gain control, or maybe it's the final genocide and ultimate goal of the Reapers to eradicate all organics by turning them into part-machines. Destroy is the only good ending.
I love how Synthesis fags (all 3 of them) are incapable of looking beyond what BioWare in their own delusion wants them to see and think about the fucking implications of what the Synthesis Ending actually means.
Arguably you have to work a lot harder to get the low EMS destroy ending because it's almost impossible to be that much of a fuck up unless you do it deliberately. Ergo low EMS destroy is the right option.
On green ending you cant survive, but ypu can survive on destroy, meaning you can come back with Tali, wich means you the real cum ending is destroy, checkmate
Synthesis is the „good ending“ from the reapers point of view; they finally gives them a way to flawlessly integrate the unpredictable chaos of natural organic evolution (along with all the spontaneous technological developments this might spark) into their hivemind without needing to risk putting organics through a blender every 50k years.
Whew, it sure is a good thing that Admiral "hack it out" Hackett tells me in no uncertain terms that all that crucial technology for the galaxy to function was brought back and even improved without capitulating to the Reapers one bit.
Except you missed the part that it says "It will take time".
Logically, since it took them 2 years to not even rebuild Tayseri, the ward on the CItadel, I expect it will take them 200 years to not fix the Milky Way.
But Bioware can write it as whatever they want, and make it as inconsequential as they want.
"Oh, you blew up the entire galaxy and all the Relays that connected everything? Eh, give or take 5 days, should be back up again". It's desperate and just reinforces how right we were to begin with, but whatever.
Look up the destroy ending slides for yourself, the Krogan have restores their ruins, the Quarians have massive cities on Rannoch, Earth is completely rebuild and the Relays/Citadel are in perfect condition again.
All of this shit seen with the crewmates from the games, so no handwaving about those slides of complete restoration being so far in the future that everyone is dead.
Destroy ending basically states that a unified galaxy without the Reapers holding them back is fucking unstoppable in what it can achieve.
I understand.
The devastation should not be repaired the next day.
There is no fucking point to those endings, or to even having these choices, if they literally don't matter.
>B-B-BUT YOU CAN'T CURE THE GENOPHAGE! >REMEMBER OF THE KROGAN REBELLION AND THE 6 TRILLIONS!
Don't care. Wrex is my bro and if he wants a krogan breeding army he'll get one, simple as.
Doesnt wrex straight up say that he doesn't really care about fixing the geno shit? If I recall he's the one who flatly tells you that most Krogan are mouth breathing retards who want to do nothing but fight
Ye that one was okker, anon, probably was thinking of him, he was also hated, glad opened grunt shit being honest, Grunt and Wrex are cool, being honest
yeah and then he pulls a gun on you in Virmire cause he is presented with a chance to cure the genophage so he is not different than any of the other mouth breathing krogans
And neither is curing it. All other considerations aside, I picked Control, so if Krogans really chimp out again, Shepard can personally kick their collective asses.
Changes nothing. The destroyed a synthetic race that wasn't to wipe out organics back in Javik's time also. Reapers still came along later and wiped them out. It's just bad writing. "No matter what you do x will keep happening forever until everyone is gone" tier bs.
>I too support genocide, so long as it happens to someone else.
The council must be destroyed. In another timeline humanity gets genophaged for being a threat to the status quo and buck breaking the Turian army.
The genophage is a dynamic problem. It was perfectly justified at the time and it is only justifiable to be cured if Wrex and Eve are in charge.
Any situation where those two are not present is a situation where it is justifiable to not cure them.
that's great, but it does nothing to stop them from being deposed and that the krogan still have 1000 babies per breeding session
curing the genophage is just starting another horrible intergalactic war with a species that think it's totally cool to go full scorched earth but couldn't take it when they got a minor slap back
If the Krogan was left alone to develop their own culture instead of they would either 1. gone extinct or 2. get over their social issue. But they weren't allowed to make that choice. Trying to use atrocity to prevent a potential catastrophe in the future is exactly what the Reapers are trying to do. Curing the Genophage is giving the Krogan another chance to rebuild.
and they'll spoil the chance, as has been shown by their behavior and actions in the games
yes, uplifting any society with technology they don't have the reasoning or social empathy is a terrible idea and we have many real world examples of that, but it happened, and now you have to make the big boy decision to either genocide an entire race or just calm down their insane breeding rate to a normal level which makes them manageable
Or we actually help them improve their society? Like there is a 3rd choice here. Also this tie in with the Reapers, the Reapers believe that organic lifeforms will go to war with their creation so they are doing the universe a service of killing everyone before they reach that point. What difference is between the reapers reasoning for genocide and the Council reason for genocide?
what would you propose? even if you teach them all to be good boys, there's still the massive overpopulation issue, which causes even the most intelligent of societies to go full retard
they would outbreed their resources, or you'd need to find another method of population control
2 weeks ago

First, after the massive casualty they took in the Reaper war, it would take awhile for them to even return to normal population even with their fast breeding (babies need time to grow up)
2. With how few females they have left, breeding wouldn't be as rampant as the female would decide when they want to breed.
3. There are better option for birth control than 999 dead babies. Like the main issue with the Genophage is the emotional damage they cause when parents have to watch 999 of their kids die in stillbirth. You can't tell me that they couldn't reduce the Krogan birthrate by other mean.
4. Look at human, we used to breed a lot but with better living condition and education, people are actually having less kids.
>Krogan have 1000 births per sexo because of their high attrition rate >~~*salarians*~~ give them advanced technology so they can use the krogan as cannon fodder in their war >krogan spread out of control because they are evolved for the mortality environment of their homeworld. >~~*salarians*~~ realize they fucked up and genocide their now useless pawns.
Retarded short lived 40 yr old boomer frogs have no foresight. DO NOT feed the starving children in Africa.
It should noted that the Salarians only suggest the Genophage due to how the Salarian themselves breed (Salarian treat reproduction as bussiness rather than building a family). It was the Turian who pushed for the use of the Genophage.
No? The Turians wanted to glass the Krogan, the Genophage was created by the Salarians as a mercy because they felt guilty about uplifting the Krogan to begin with. If it had been left up to the Turians they would've simply genocided the Krogan outright.
Why not? We freed a slave race and gave them guns to help fight in our wars. Didn't they then use that technology to uplift themselves? They didn't just take the guns back to their broken hovels and use them to kill any member of their society who acts differently, right?
It's not like Krogan even had the ships to fly out of their planet.
How are they are threat, when they are all brainlets and can barely build ships ? They can be gorillions on their own planet.
well, some morons decided to uplift them and you can't exactly put that genie back in the bottle, they've mastered their own planet, it is no longer a deadly hellhole because of technology, and now they have access to space

which would be the same, morally, as genophage, but would cost an inordinate sum to police krogan space and make sure they didn't manage to go off world or someone tried to give them ships for whatever reason

as far as we know, krogans mature incredibly quickly and have insane life spans, they're basically space murder turtles

Here is the thing, Krogan have high birth rate because most of the time, Krogan babies don't survive into adulthood in their homewolrd environment. But now, without their world hostile environment, the Krogans have to face the reality of having such a large family is both impossible to manage or raise. The Krogan never actually have to raise 1000 babies. >because no matter how much education and money, and health services, and food, and social services we dump into certain areas our world is facing an overpopulation crisis right fucking now
Because the population doesn't have the time to go down yet. Birth reduction measure only began to be implement for 30 to 40 years on Earth and human still live up to 70 or 80. But we already see the effect of those measure right now since we only reach 8 billion recently, the older estimation was around 10 billion

The generations that held the old values must die off.
Mass Effect is retarded so things happen instantly even on topics that take decades to centuries.
All the lore from ME 1 and 2, and even 3 all points to the Genophage being 100% necessary and the best outcome above all. Why do people even try to cure it?
All the lore from 2020 and 2021, and even 2022 all points to the COVID being 100% necessary and the best outcome above all. Why do people even try to cure it?
It was necessary at the time of the war. But it no longer is anymore. It's a ductape that everyone refuse to change because it is too much of a hassle.
I choose my decisions based on how much I like the character, if he a bro then we fuck the hoe, the council can kiss my ass and fuck the future of the galaxy, if the krogans are the apex of all species, then so be it, mad max shenanigans for ever.
I'm completely arbitrary in my decisions, and I do not care.
I think the genophage was right
But I also want a Krogan to stuff me full of cock and empty his quads into me, leaving me swollen and carrying the progeny of a virile warrior
I'm conflicted

How do peaceful miss the point of Mordin’s character so badly? It’s blatantly obvious that he feels guilty for what he had a part in, and wants a way to redeem himself. Everything he spouts off about the genophage being logical and necessary is true, since there really wasn’t any alternative aside from just wiping the Krogan out completely, but he still regrets it, and he’s trying to cope with it in his own way.

When did humans start wars on multiple systems like the krogans did?
i choose the true renegade option
being morally inconsistent for the dream of an all human galaxy
But this means I'll never have a big turian girl wring my dick with her mandibles
wrong
merely choose moral inconsistency a second time and make an exception for cute turian girls
you can do this infinite times
Krogan can have 1000 kids per fuck session and they’re all adults in a few years
That’s fucking insane
fuckin krogan lover
Ja, est ist zo.
Dhu must understand. Culling the number of the goyim is the only way.
They must become unable to have kids.
It is the only way to ensure peace and prosperity.
Sorry Wrex I love you but your species must go
I definitely became less sympathetic to the Krogans when I learned that their normal breeding rate is 1000 spawn in a year and so by cutting their reproduction to 0.1% Mordin just made it so that they had one child a year. Before that I thought it was like one child in an entire community each year. But if a Krogan male and female could reproduce at the same rate as a Human couple then there was absolutely nothing stopping them from living fulfilling family lives even with the Genophage in effect.
tbh given how krogan live, I doubt very many of those 1000 kids live for very long
Well yeah, so change their way of life. Say "maybe we shouldn't murder each other for everything anymore, since there are so few of us" rather than "we need more bodies to murder."
Didn't they retcon it so that instead of most lowering birth rate it just made all but 0.1% of females infertile?
No, they just get a 999/1000 infant mortality rate.
The only mistake wih the genophage is that it's not genocide.
he cucks in ME3
I cure the genophage with the full intent to have the Krogan settle on Asari worlds after the Reaper war.
The new council will be Human, Turian, Krogan, Salarian, Elcor, Hanar, Volus, Vorcha, Varren and shifty cow.
Asari can fuck off.
what about us? why do we not have representation on the council
You can't put extinct races on the council, spider-freak.
Batarians are just the Krogan replacement because everybody loved Wrex
fuck batarians all my homies hate batarians
krogans at least are cool dinosaurs
>Space Muslims
Nope.
that's what happens when you're best known for being pirates and slavers
batarians are subhuman, even vorcha are better
I always cure the Genophage because I'm a White guy and the mere concept of the Genophage hits way too close to home for me.
>Krogan people are scattered, suicidal, and see no hope for the future.
Purely fiction of course. Krogan genocide is a myth created by Krogan supremacists.
Ah, yes; "Krogan genocide". A proclaimed plot to exterminate the Krogan after making them suffer long and hard. We have dismissed that claim.
>war obsessed violent dumb race of animals that over breed lead to declining society
>... genocide?
If only this was on the table for us.
>killed wrex on virmire
>talked mordin out of saving krogan in 3
>convinced wreav that i helped him out
playing renegade was so much fun
The only mistake was not making another genophage for batarians as well
Two biggest fuck-ups in Mass Effect's universe is making the Krogan shit out 1000 eggs at once and retconning the Geth into being good boys who dindu nuffin despite wiping out 99% of the Quarian population on their first day of being sentient.
the geth thing isnt really a retcon, there are layers to it. you can easily view everything legion shows you in the geth virtual space as propaganda
uh yeah and shepard is indoctrinated so nothing that even happens on the screen is real, keep coping
maybe youre too dumb to understand it
You know, I believe in Wrex command, he is capable of making them not a threat.
Do the choices on me 3 matter at least?
No, I'm fuzzy on the timeline but I'm pretty sure the Andromeda Initiative leaves the Milky Way before ME3 begins, and it takes place over 600 years later and in another galaxy so nothing that happens would matter either way.
Andromeda could have been a decent excuse for a clean slate, but the groundwork is so bad I don't really want it.
So no quarians... ill pass then
There are Quarians in Andromeda, but they're still on their ark and hiding because of reasons. So you don't actually interact with them.
A possible Andromeda 2 thing, I suppose.
I would prefer a me4, being honest, andromeda is too tainted
>You know, I believe in Wrex command, he is capable of making them not a threat
Anyone who actually believes this is fucking delusional. A single person can't tard wrangle an entire species, especially one about to get a massive increase in population growth. The Krogan without the Genophage could number in the trillions with only a couple of generations. Do you honestly think he can keep so many people on the same page?
Its the Krogan, he is the Krogan Shepard, he is seen with respect, and as a hero, maybe it will bit our ass once he dies, but meanwhile? Yea he will learn some stuff about overpopulation or 2
>hire assassin to kill wrex
>blame salarians
>??????
>profit
It woukdnt be Krogan fault do, and krogans wouldnt hire assasins, they like to do it themselves
For me it's Liara.
Even Joker talks about talis Hips, get real anon, everyone knows tali is the real deal
You think Joker would be throwing up high fives every time Shep bangs Tali and she has to take a sick day afterwards, but she keeps coming back for more?
Of course, when you choose to leave Ashley on the ground instead of getting her on the ship he fucking gets off the chair and salutes you
Joker is based
The Normandy is pro-sexy aliens
It really is
My heart stays blue and true for her only anon
If only she wasn't voiced by Ali Hillis, possibly the most bored sounding woman to ever exist
Is it me or they changed the voice actress from 1 to 2?
No, she only had a different VA in Paragon Lost
>wanting retarded children
then again why break tradition
There have been NO proof of that chance, and what about turians and quarians, they look a lot more different, quarians are look more like human, watch fleet and flotilla, moron
cope more, retard
your gypsy waifu is shit and the quarians get exterminated every playthrough
It wasn't a mistake. Krogan are worse than Rachni because at least Rachni attacked when provoked and indoctrinated. The only mistake here was lack of care after the genophage got deployed, the Krogan should've been culturally subverted or reverted back to peaceful dindu shamanistic tribes so in case the cure is ever needed the same scenario that led to it wouldn't have played out.
I want a harem of sexy aliums to go on space adventures with. That'd be a damn good game. Why don't they just make that game?
The only mistake was not finishing the job
So how are the real space morons? Krogan or Batarians?
Batarians, all the way up.
Krogans are just russians
Krogans are the ones still in Africa
Batarians are the ones everywhere else trying to get free gibs for being what they are
Batarian
>decide to fuck of to their corner of the Galaxy in as tantrum, and closeoff all relation with the rest of the Galaxy
Krogan
>everywhere but on Tutchanka, keep complaining about how the genophage is the sole reason they are going extinct, while at the same time killing each others over petty dispute
Hmm...
Batarians, altough Krogans aren't that far off
Batarians are based
if you want the actual answer it is 100% without a doubt humans.
>Batarians are based
they are literally a race of gigachuds who rightfully told the rest of the galaxy to fuck off and consistently humiliate and prove the council’s impotence simply by existing.
The krogans once saved the galaxy, while the batarians have never and will never be anything of value
What does Turian skin feel like?
Like leather, probably.
Calm down, Tali. All that salt will contaminate your suit.
The salt gets purged anyways, I mean, I dont know what you talking about nerd, you probably like blasto or something
For what other character says, they have feathers so, I guess like a featherless chicken or something
Sad.
i never did a full renegade playthrough because the renegade options are just fucking stupid and make the story dumb. the whole thing is basically "im an edgelord teehee"
how about make some good renegade plot points
>this is what Paragon fags actually believe
Enjoying the taste of alien boots, my man?
the paragon options aren't much better but its still better than renegadeshit.
>muh human council
they're just as bad, if not worse
turns out politicians are the same across the galaxy
The only good Renegade option is controlling the Reapers rather than destroying them.
>not destroying the reapers
>good
The Reapers built the mass relays and the foundation of the setting's technology. Destroying them is like burning the library of Alexandria.
>Shepard is totally indoctrinated and can't be trusted!
>That's why you're able to completely destroy the Reapers if you so choose! They're brainwashing you into it!
>The Reapers built the mass relays and the foundation of the setting's technology
What Reapers built was a convenient way to control the ways civilizations develop. It shouldn't be treated as something good.
So you'd advocate for a pre-retcon resolution where the mass relays are destroyed and every single person in the galaxy is cut off from each other, lightyears from their loved ones?
imagine being the only human man left on the asari home world after all the mass relays were destroyed
For some time, the reaper ai said they would rebuilt relatively fast
We can simply build more mass relays. We cannot however ever turn back from any other choice.
mass relay are not necessary for FTL travel
>prove the council’s impotence simply by existing.
Not for much longer if I have my way
There is literally 0 downside to destroying the reapers.
>but muh relays!
Fixed.
>but muh citadel
Fixed.
>but muh spaceflight tech
We already have it? We know exactly how it works once we have it?
What exactly are we LOSING from killing the reapers?
The Geth and EDI? They signed up for this fight knowing the stakes and costs. EDI's final conversation with you on Earth is the culmination of her questions throughout the story. She straight up tells you she WANTS the Reapers destroyed for the good of everyone and the ones she loves.
Btw, shepard can also survive the destroy ending.
Meanwhile controlling the reapers isnt really "you"
The Geth can be brought back by the Quarians and most notably Admiral Daro'Xen with her obsession with studying Geth
The other 2 literally don't matter because the writers don't allow them to.
>organics will make new synthetics
Okay we will destroy them too.
Didn't have to read anything after that.
The organics always lose in the end. That's the problem. Even if you destroy them, eventually new stronger ones will show up and wipe out humanity just like they did with Protheans. That's literally written into the lore by the hacks at BioWare. It's obvious how badly they wanted to force Synthesis.
don't make synths at all then, problem solved
The tarded races in Mass Effect can't stop doing it because the dumbass writers who wanted to force their 2 deep ending on us said so. Hopefully in 4 they give us some actual closure that makes sense but looking at the team working on it I don't have high hopes.
isn't that a paragon option
t. khalisah al-jilani
Legion is dead, and Joker will have to end up building himself another waifu, but im not making Tali sad, Im destroying so I have a chance to survive and come back
Good job handing the Reapers the galaxy on a silver platter, dumbass.
You don't need to limit yourself at all.
Both games have Para/Ren farm exploits that were left alone in ME:LE.
And it just doesn't matter in 3 because both alignments share 1 bar.
the thumbnail makes it look like a derpy android is hugging the left side of his body and nuzzling his neck
Renegon > every other alignment
DO IT AGAIN BOMBER MORDIN
Doing the genophage was right.
Curing it was also right.
Scientist wishes to undo necessary action, forcing his dear friend and brother in arma to end his life before grave mistake can he made...
>breathes in
>sighs
Correct decision at the time. Had to be done.
Mordin you died on the hold out, shut the fuck up
Mordin switching up on the Genophage and the rest of the Genophage stuff is actually kind of based. Very based character development.
yes it was. should have targeted batarians too. clear mistake.
Its funny too, because the reaoer says the best ending is actually the third option but literally no one chooses it
I just played Mass Effect 1 and Saren mentions that Sovereign gave him some "improvements" and that the "union of flesh and machine" was peak evolution.
Synthesis fags are quite literally retarded. They do not comprehend just how fucking horrifying the world they chose is.
>ending (green)
Are you afraid of the color green? The people in the ending PowerPoint looked happy.
Just imagine how happy you would be if you were a Praetorian mouth husk in the green ending 🙂
I love how Synthesis fags (all 3 of them) are incapable of looking beyond what BioWare in their own delusion wants them to see and think about the fucking implications of what the Synthesis Ending actually means.
But it's the secret ending! You have to work harder to get it! Therefore it's the Right option!
Arguably you have to work a lot harder to get the low EMS destroy ending because it's almost impossible to be that much of a fuck up unless you do it deliberately. Ergo low EMS destroy is the right option.
Green is the coomer ending. Inspired by a cripple who loved his sex robot a little too much.
Ergo, destroy or bust.
You're thinking of Okeer's speech about ignoring the genophage by breeding the most perfect murderhobo Krogan of all time.
All other considerations aside, I picked Control, so if Krogans really chimp out again, Shepard can personally kick their collective asses.
https://vocaroo.com/140RvihuYDZf
Isn't refusal the best ending? It completely eradicates the Batarian species.
>The organics always lose in the end.
Changes nothing. The destroyed a synthetic race that wasn't to wipe out organics back in Javik's time also. Reapers still came along later and wiped them out. It's just bad writing. "No matter what you do x will keep happening forever until everyone is gone" tier bs.
>Permanently ridding yourself from space morons
>Treating it like it's a BAD thing
WHY
moralfags moralfagging
>I too support genocide, so long as it happens to someone else.
The council must be destroyed. In another timeline humanity gets genophaged for being a threat to the status quo and buck breaking the Turian army.
The genophage is a dynamic problem. It was perfectly justified at the time and it is only justifiable to be cured if Wrex and Eve are in charge.
Any situation where those two are not present is a situation where it is justifiable to not cure them.
that's great, but it does nothing to stop them from being deposed and that the krogan still have 1000 babies per breeding session
curing the genophage is just starting another horrible intergalactic war with a species that think it's totally cool to go full scorched earth but couldn't take it when they got a minor slap back
We'll just genophage them again
>Krogan have 1000 births per sexo because of their high attrition rate
>~~*salarians*~~ give them advanced technology so they can use the krogan as cannon fodder in their war
>krogan spread out of control because they are evolved for the mortality environment of their homeworld.
40? That's ancient by Salarian standards, you're old as fuck at 30.
Mordin lived to be 50-51. He was born in 2135.
Given the already established lore of Turians having the largest fleet, pretty sure it won't be hard to ground krogans.
which would be the same, morally, as genophage, but would cost an inordinate sum to police krogan space and make sure they didn't manage to go off world or someone tried to give them ships for whatever reason
as far as we know, krogans mature incredibly quickly and have insane life spans, they're basically space murder turtles
using humans as an example is terrible, because no matter how much education and money, and health services, and food, and social services we dump into certain areas our world is facing an overpopulation crisis right fucking now
Here is the thing, Krogan have high birth rate because most of the time, Krogan babies don't survive into adulthood in their homewolrd environment.
But we already see the effect of those measure right now since we only reach 8 billion recently, the older estimation was around 10 billion
>have biologically high birth rate
>foster a violent culture that sees individuals as expendable, because they are
>birth rate suddenly plummets
>culture...doesn't develop to value individuals?
dey need mo money for dem programs
The generations that held the old values must die off.
Mass Effect is retarded so things happen instantly even on topics that take decades to centuries.
Culture is genetic. See
All the lore from ME 1 and 2, and even 3 all points to the Genophage being 100% necessary and the best outcome above all.
I wish this could work in real life for you know who
what did hawaiians ever do to you?
Any race that kills bugs is alright by me.
Ok but can you release it in Africa, India and China, please?
Keep coping.
I think the genophage was right
But I also want a Krogan to stuff me full of cock and empty his quads into me, leaving me swollen and carrying the progeny of a virile warrior
I'm conflicted
I kill this krogan lover every playthrough
Total Krogan Death
>tries and fails to find religion afterwards
>starts up a charity clinic on omega
>tells maelon that the genophage shouldn’t be cured “like this” in his loyalty mission
How do peaceful miss the point of Mordin’s character so badly? It’s blatantly obvious that he feels guilty for what he had a part in, and wants a way to redeem himself. Everything he spouts off about the genophage being logical and necessary is true, since there really wasn’t any alternative aside from just wiping the Krogan out completely, but he still regrets it, and he’s trying to cope with it in his own way.
this is one of the most annoying character in videogames
O Blue Rose of Illium, if these humble words reach you, then I have joined my ancestors.
My dream was to be by your side, a weed beside your beauty, twining together in the warm Tuchanka sun.
But if my last days must be with krannt instead of kindness, still, I will remember the perfume of your scent and the soft touch of your petals.
Let my broken bones build a wall around your garden, so you and the flower we planted together can grow safe and strong.
