Is it fair to call it the best Sims game?

yes
sims 3 and 4 freaks are coomer, meaning the game has NOTHING going for it but garbage porn mods for incels
3 had fun ideas, but the engine is absolute dogshit and the game is a broken unoptimized mess
>b-but MODS CNA FIX IT
fuck off, that isn't a excuse, even if it was true, which it isn't. the game is sitll a broken piece of shit even after letting the community fix things
calm down
I think bustin out was my favorite but sims 2 PC is the best.
2 was the last game Will Wright worked on, so it figures it would be the last genuine Sims game.
honestly, I always say that asside from the 'shitty graphics' of the actual sim characters themselveswhich does not matter at all if you are not a waifufag or coomer, the sims 3 had the potential to be the perfect sims game and the only reason it isn't is because of the whole plethora of terrible optimization to the point where I honestly beleive that EA knew that and intentionally sabotaged it to run bad so people would have a reason to need to buy future titles
2 was the best game but don't shit on the sex mods for 3.
>ywn fuck your sister's daughter by the grim reaper
The only people who play Sims for anything but cooming, are transgenders and women
how is this considered attractive? she looks like she'll give my children birth defects and ruin their chances of survival. my genetics would be doing her lineage a favor.
>big tiddy
>big booty
>thick thighs
>latina
What's not to love fag
NTA but the horrific proportions, trashy tattoos and swollen lips
what if i play it as an ant farm because i dont want real ants in the house and i enjoy watching AI interact with its self independently?
She looks like a caricature of Akhenaten's weird inbred body
What's the best way to get and play The Sims 2 these days? garden gnomes at EA stopped giving away the ultimate collection and I missed it.
I played it again recently because I used to love the shit out of it as a kid. But I just didn't know what to do. I think Sims 3's open world really got the creative juices flowing
Look up Sims 2 starter pack
1 still holds a lot of magic, but 2 was a perfection of that formula
I just wish a lot of the graphical quality/features that were originally planned didn't get cut
I think 3 is a contender. Having the world simply be open and just driving places felt really nice, also the plethora of skills was great. It's key problem is that it runs like ass.
But it's between 2 and 3, 1 was great but is too basic, and 4 is a step down from 3. 4 is surprisingly getting better as they are still adding new stuff, but it's simply not as good as the other two.
3 was soulless. It was just missing that Will Wright magic.
4 has lots of content available but the underlying architecture of the game is sub par and no amount of new content will help when its built upon poor foundations
it's great, but my personal fave is bustin out
It was the right mix of innovation and early series soul.
Will Wright is a genuine God of Gaming. He's up there with Carmack.
By fucking far. It's got depth, it's about the actual Sims, the load times are tiny, it's got soul, it's got music, it has it all.
Fuck I love TS2.
I still remembered getting randomly abducted by ayyys and inseminated by them while stargazing. Fucking mindblowing at the time (I was 11).
Pleasantview, home...
Shit son, the desert region was where it's at... What was it called again?
Nevermind, found it... Strangetown... Home...
I loved Strangetown too. All the backstories and bits of lore were great, love how the console spin offs expanded on that too.
Desert town in the middle of nowhere where strange shit happens is such a kino setting, I wish more games had that
Yep. Stargazing there was unbridled kino.
Yes. Sims 2 is the best Sims, by far.
In many ways, yes. Nobody can deny that the developers put a lot of love into it. But ts3 had a lot that elevated it into a good competitor for best game in the series.
Yeah but only the console versions unironically
>the sims 2 level of attention of detail and sovl
>the sims 3 open world
>the sims 4 style and coomer mods
it would be the perfect simstoo bad it's not happening
I only played the DS version and the only other Sims game I've played is Medieval. Can't really say which is better, I had fun with both.
