They're all mediocre, including Nightfire which I see some people push as the "actual best 007 game" but sorry Goldeneye will always be king, even The World is Not Enough on N64 is better than any game in that image
I am in fact both, but a far bigger Bond fan than a Rare fan actually.
While I do appreciate that later games tried to "recreate" the experience of being James Bond, and make it look more like the movies as opposed to a straight up action FPS like Goldeneye, the results were middling at best. Everything or Nothing/From Russia Love had some good ideas but ultimately the gameplay is less than impressive and that's more important than presentation
>even The World is Not Enough on N64 is better than
Nothing. You're on some rabid fanboy stupor and just slamming your greasy paws against that phone screen.
Goldeneye is a bad game. It's a slogfest filled with braindead enemies, completely empty and sterile levels, insanely low resolution turbo blurry textures with very little actual texture variety, a dumb aiming system (yo dawg we heard you like aiming so we put a crosshair button on your controller so you can aim while you aim), a framerate that turns the game into a slideshow whenever anything is happening onscreen, literal special needs tier NPC AI that will happily walk directly into a stream of bullets causing you to fail the mission, and as the poop nugget cherry on the top of this turd sundae you have to play the entire game with the most retarded fucking controller ever invented.
The only positives are the soundtrack (surprisingly good for a cartridge game) and the multiplayer led to a lot of fun nights with bros during sleepovers when we were kids (the shit controller didn't matter in deathmatch because everyone had to suffer through using it together).
People only venerate it because it was their first FPS or they heard a youtuber talk about how great it was (who only thinks its great because it was their first FPS). Fuck you, I'm right, and deep down inside you know it.
>Goldeneye is a bad game
stopped reading there, you couldn't even give me a proper (You) and also clearly have shit taste so there's no reason to read any further
I didn't give you a proper (you) in case you were shitposting bait in order to get attention.
You don't have to read the whole post, just read the first and last sentences of it.
That Russian (Actually Italian) chick in from russia with love was so pretty
There are so many insanely attractive Bond Girls, it is insane. I watched a bunch of the older ones in order early this year and you can occasionally freeze frame a lot of them at juuuuuust the right time and catch the briefest glimpse of a nipple here and there.
Okay read the last sentence, and you're still a fag with shit taste. I still play Goldeneye today with my friends and it's fun as hell. Also creating your stupid headcanon fantasy where people only pretend to like a game (or like it for the wrong reason), because you happen to dislike that game, all that does it show that not only is your taste shit but you're also a delusional narcissist
the STAN system inspired even Valvle with Half Life, it took years to see another jump to A.I enemy behavior in F.E.A.R witch yet have to be surpassed!
The only one of these I have actually played was Nightfire, which I loved.
My roommate and I used to play a shitload of split screen multiplayer on the map set in the snow covered valley with the castle on one end and the ski lodge on the other. I remember it being a lot of fun. I keep meaning to download the PC version to try sometime since I read that it's basically an entirely different game running on GldSrc instead of the custom engine they used for the console version.
i really liked the gameplay of Everything or Nothing, plus it had a sick motorcycle level near the end of the campaign
Nightfire had pretty decent multiplayer
the Skyrail map was pretty fun to play on
look, I know it's shit but I will always adore this game. I didn't even play it back in the day, it was just some forbidden fruit sort of game that I saw in Nintendo Power a bunch.
everything or nothing = from russia > nightfire > the first one > the craig ones > goldeneye rogue agent
From Russia with Love was surprisingly good.
They're all mediocre, including Nightfire which I see some people push as the "actual best 007 game" but sorry Goldeneye will always be king, even The World is Not Enough on N64 is better than any game in that image

For me it's agent under fire mp with jetpacks and low gravity
Not the pissstation version tho it's the only one without bots lmao
>Great tier
Goldeneye, Nightfire, EoN
>Good tier
TWINE N64, Agent Under Fire, FRWL
>Mediocre tier
Tomorow Never Dies, TWINE PS1

Nightfire PC

GE rogue Agent, 007 Racing

Nightfire
I liked FRwL the most. And it amused me to hear Connery say OchtopusSh since they didn't have the rights back for SPECTRE then.
The 1st couple of EA FPS Bonds were neat and EoN was a good shake up of the BOND game type.

Good taste. Probably my favorite Bond girl along with Jane Seymour in Live and Let Die

pretty decent and underrated zelda-like
lol the only reason you hate Goldeneye is because you didn't have friends, anyone who had friends loved that game
the whole quoting-but-not-quoting a post has got to be a top 3 most pathetic beta fag behavior on Ganker, and that's saying something
There’s one where you can use a watch grappling hook in multiplayer and swing around like Spider Man. Ridiculously fun with a few friends.
