I really did like the art style and combat.
But holy frick did it suffer from problems.
Biggest two being:
- Taking 5+ minutes to find a match, and then there is a 2 minutes of loading.
- Hackers because there was no anti-cheat
Probably because they already had the development completed for Season 2 and part of Season 3, so might as well push that out first.
They're cutting off Death Metal sales next month though.
In the video they made for the announcement, they made it sound like they're going to add more modes so it's more than just a BR. Which was probably the original plan from the start since all the usual BR shit in this game is worthless. You just want to sprint to the nearest battle on the map and rack up kills.
They already tried that after fixing all the launch bugs and it did frick all. People just don't give a shit about melee BRs. They all lose 90% of their base a week after launch or after they pay some streamers to shill it.
Oh I remember this game. Wasn't it that Suda Souls-type game
That's the original, which is still running and they even still rotate the seasonal events on it. I know it would only cost peanuts to keep in maintenance mode, but there ain't no way there are people still buying death medal in it.
i have literally never heard of this game before
what is it?
Battle Royale spin-off to Let it Die but without any involvement from Suda51
Pft, why.
and people "greenlight" stuff like this. It's insane how out of touch the higher-ups are.

I never encountered hackers, but I think a bunch of players were bots
About a month ago they changed the game so you need only 4 players to start a game. The rest were bots.
I only heard of it a week ago.
man what a fricking waste i think this is the only time i would've preferred a game being paid rather than a f2p piece of shit
funny enough they're temp shutting off servers on fricking july
bit early to announce it

>game is called let it die
>devs let it die
holy kino and soul
not enough shill money payments or WACKY cross overs for today's market

>shut off servers temporarily
>re-release but this time pay streamers to play the game
>rake in the dough
They know what needs to be done.

They already paid some big twitch streamer a while back to play the game
It lead to like an extra 50 players or something

>Ninjala
>Now this
Gungho's struggling.
They unironically should redesign the game from the ground up as a "melee extraction" rather than a straight Battle Royale.
Yeah they should redesign it as a successor to the original game instead
