At that point you can get the Leaf Shield and make him completely irrelevant. Just let him blow you to the wall, then spam Leaf Shields when he jumps nearby.
Surely, Wood Man's stage won't be as difficult. Right?
Have you ever tried to buster-only it? It's a fairly simple fight with the correct weapon, but avoiding getting hit by the tornados so you can do enough damage before dying is fairly difficult.
Even in JP it's not too hard with Wood Man's weapon, although Air Man will shove you through his hitbox because you just can't do enough damage in one cycle.
Yeah literally that's how I played the game. I think for each boss there are generally positional gimmicks you can do to beat them. When he gets close most people run away but that's actually the best time to land a fuck ton of damage. I haven't tried to no damage him but I can consistently beat him just tanking damage and dpsing him
Move on to MM3. There aren't really any side games in the classic series.
Well, they are, but they can be played at any point and aren't really connected to the main series. You might as well play MM1-6 all together until you get tired of the formula, then play something else to break things up.
MM3 is a long one, so hope you're still going strong.
no ones posted it? seriously?
The whole thread has been a reference to the video, but sure.
Dont hear what mfers say.
6 is the best in the entire series.
Dont want to spoil much, its a bittersweet end to the nes era, the soundtrack, everything reflects it.
It has my favorite OST of all time too, have fun anon.
>6 is the best in the entire series.
You can't even jump slide properly without fixing the game yourself. I still don't know how could they fuck up this much.
Ypu don't need to do that in any other classic, but when every other mega man game with that move lets you do that, X games included your muscle memory gets fucked. Also, slide jumping is always just cool.
I agree, MM6 is the best. Going back over the Legacy 1 collection, it's easily the best playing and best entry of the six. The only problem is that MM6 might ruin the experience of older games. But for someone who's already played through MM1 and MM2, moving on to MM3 is the most reasonable choice.
They're already this far in, it's probably best to continue on in release order and experience the games that way.
>used to think this was silly and funny back in 2007 >cant watch it noways without having my throat itch and eyes watering
This shit hits harder than it should.
Decent, but nothing beats the original, that shit has so much emotion put into it, combine that with the clip and it legit makes me want to cry, every fucking time.
agreed

Don't forget to overclock your emulator while playing 3. You're in a miserable experience otherwise.
