My fight with the true final boss was as cinematic as it gets, I was down to very few ammo, health was down in the triple digits, the boss was doing the lunging attack that surely would have killed me, miliseconds before he reached me I somehow killed it, and I wasn't sure if I was going to get the defeat screen or the win cinematics.
and that's a good thing, in moderation. it's fun, epic, and yes, simple. doesn't make it bad.
gimmick bosses are good because they're a change of pace and gameplay mechanics. you remember bed of chaos because it's unique and bad, you don't remember the generic centipede tail boss before.
Truth be told, I'd love a boss rush version of this fight, where you don't need the overed rail cannon to do damage, but the boss is far more aggressive and has more attacks. As is, it's fun but I enjoy those fights that I have more control over.
If even a second fight like this existed it woul wear out its welcome. But as the only "movie fight" it's pretty kino. >Michigan complimenting Rusty for not being a retard like Michigan is used to working with. > Iguazu instant loss. >Chatty holds out longer than the others. >Dont forget to smile.
It was fucking great and didn't wear out its welcome. I'm glad it's the on look y fight like it though.
Don't forget >Snail making cuck excuses as he "tactically retreats" >Michigan spamming retarded high test army slogans at you to hype you up during the final phase of the fight
Damn straight. Have you tried the fight without the stun needle? >GUN 13 You have an uncanny ability to RUIN MY FIELD TRIPS.
I'm not nearly good enough to actually win without though.
sekiro kinopiece was slaying the dragon in the true ending route, it's basically just a cutscene with finishing blow prompts, but because you have to work your ass off to even enter the "fight" and because you're executing a humongous beast that's been a pain in the ass for the whole game with your measly sword with no lightning trickery this time and in real world instead of some dreamland (and all the plot implications of the slaying ofc) it feels much more impactful than just your obligatory set piece fight like divine dragon or ice worm.
Yeah, that was the high point in the game. Until you get to the last few missions, which are haute kino on every route. The Freud fight and the way he dabs on Chatty. The fleet destruction. "Beyond the scorched skies, Raven fights on." Walter coming back. Fucking awesome.
But man, they really dropped the ball with the soundtrack. All these cool things happening and the music is just totally unremarkable. What a waste.
The music is "good" but there weren't many iconic themes that pop out at you. For example the Raven's Nest theme alone from the PS1 games is more memorable than anything in AC6. It's like a step up from the Soulsslop WHHOOOOAAAA HOOOOAAAAH kind of soundtracks, but a big step down from classic Kota Hoshino stuff. I think 4 and For Answer was the last good AC soundtrack because the WHOOAAHOAAAA tracks were still mixed with freaky Hoshino nonsense making it feel unique.
>cinematic masterpiece
Did you fags forget you were playing a GAME? This fight is the worst in the entire game because you spend 70% of it waiting for the worm to face you so you can zap it with your anti worm cannon. I cant believe this shitshow was mandatory for all 3 new game cycles.
Popped up in my feed and reminded me of you. I'm sorry you're so young and so jaded and can't enjoy things anymore. Also ironic you say rent free, despite following fromsoft threads around like a lunatic.
It's cool the first time but I really wish you didn't have to do it every playthrough or that it was at least different on any of the subsequent plays. Most of the fight is standing around waiting for it to pop out of the ground to whack on it and I was pretty bored of it all by the 3rd playthrough plus the 4th replay for S rank.
>"Observe me striking the foe on my first attempt"
classic
>i wont miss
most boring fight in the game
>our super awesome planet destroying weapon is a worm with a massive glowing weakpoint
Just get a helicopter and shoot it 1 million times.
Play lost planet before posting again

I clapped and I'm not even american.
>I clapped and I'm not even american.
You are now.
It's an actual moviegame fight.
you aren't the target demographic

It's the typical From drivel that's all flash and zero substance.
You don't play video games.
I don't mean that you haven't played this video game, I mean that you don't play any video games.
I unironically got the chills during this fight, no satire

This game did boss fights extremely well. Can't think of any non fromsoft game from the past decade that has better boss fights.
It's a solid "cinematic" fight. And you even have to try, a little bit. Quick, in and out, and some banter. 10/10

How do you even win without bringing the needle? Is it like ankle picking Yhorm to death with chip damage?
Yes. Hit its face with a full salvo, deal 1/5th shield damage. Eat worm cock for 6000AP and repeat because it wont stop till the shield breaks.
They tried this type of fight in Sekiro with the divine dragon and this attempt was much more kino
I'm glad they know to not overdo them and overstay their welcome.

The Balteus track was great.
I also think the Ayre music is perfect for the moment.
>All these cool things happening and the music is just totally unremarkable
Honestly it’s preferable to the dissonant soundtracks of the older games

I thought it was very boring just waiting for the worm to allow progress in the fight. The dialogue is fun but the actual video game part is awful
>I wont miss
>the freeze-frame and delayed coral explosion on the third shot
Very cool, it reminded me of the stonehenge part in ace combat 6
>cinematic masterpiece
You're just easily impressed.

>Dude this fromslop is sooo good
Go back zoomer
See
Stay mad
You aren't refuting my assertion at all though.
This is the retard online calling it Fromslop lmao
Imagine caring enough to scour YouTube for this literal who. Rent free.

That's how I picture most Gankertards on this cancerous board being contrarian gays and pissing on everything. Thanks for sharing I'm keeping it.
