It's literally the only game scamman did after leaving Capcom that wasn't a piece of shit and it was actually successful, it deserves a port but current Sony doesn't fucking care about anything that is not movie game or a GAAS.
>Soul Sacrifice Delta and Freedom Wars need PC ports ASAP for Steam Deck
I'm surprised devs aren't hopping on the deck as a market.
Sure there's plenty of games that work well with it but there really aren't many releases that are specifically intended for handheld play.

You're never gonna get one aside from emulation and Vita emulation is still pretty ass.Soul Sacrifice is "playable" though, you can find videos of people emulating it.
I wish FW hadn't been so painfully half finished. It's a blatant case of devs banking on an Ultimate edition only to not get one so the game is permanently unfinished. Wish it had gotten more large enemy types, only having the standard abductor model with different weapons slapped on, centaur abductors, spiders, tigers, octopi and dragons got old.
Imagine if it was actually expanded on and you could properly explore the different locations instead of just being stuck on a small section of them as arenas.
You're stuck in arenas because you're playing through Librom's memories, there's not much to actually explore and the game makes it clear it's just bits and piece of memories, which is why the sky has writing in it.
Also, you wouldn't be able to get arena gimmicks like Pandora reversing itself is you shake it hard enough with certain spells.
> Fuckin incredible game, funnily enough I watched my favorite streamer play through alot of it and Freedom Wars before coming here to larp that I did lol. Ive never touched MH at all
FIFY, (you) retarded FuckFace
I remember getting help from vitagen to max out the ars magica since there were some missable low level spells, thank god he had neglected side missions and still had some missions that needed to be "restored" before becoming playable.
this game was unloved but amazing, shame nobody talk about it
magusa was the funniest name, i kept saying it like a comedy sitcom where magusa fucks up hard and the entire cast says his name condescendingly and a laugh track plays in the back
The game was really fucking fun to play with others, if you're flying solo there are too many "mandatory" spells clogging up your 6 slots so it feels a bit samey if you want to be safe but if you can distribute some jobs among a team you can really try more unorthodox spells.
It's more that a lot of spell combos like launchers are impossible to do on your own.
Technically you can hire NPCs are party members but none of them have the AI that can let you use the multiplayer spell combos, as much as some of them are scripted to help you cast certain spells you'll hardly ever see somebody launching you after you turn yourself into a stone ball and that's one of the sickest combos in Soul Sacrifice.
I loved the game a lot, for its atmosphere, music, story, rpg elements, etc...
But I'm gonna be honest: the gameplay kind of sucks. It becomes very spammy and a lot of the gimmicky spell combo's aren't worth your time to do. More fun with others, but multi-player for this shit isn't happening nowadays

It's a shame it never left the Vita. Sony only funded all those MH replacements because of Capcom going 3DS exclusive for a while.
I should replay this game one day. I miss it.
Damn I played it a lot.
>wowww is that a evil dead game?
>nope it's just a crapcum game
crazy to see more Soul Sacrifice threads now than when the game was actively being advertised

I thought that happened based on how much HP bosses had left.
Naw it was dogshit

remember to check your vita for expanded batteries and throw it away
Why would I get rid of an expanded battery? Why wouldn’t I want more battery life?
if the batteries physically expand they are basically a ticking time bomb

Who had the nicest place to live in?
Shit game, so no one cares
At least the Sanctuarium was pretty
It's been awhile since I played, so I don't remember the interiors. But the I like the mushroom houses the Grim Allies have.
I use Sortiara as my name for every rpg in the past 10 years

I was always fond of the spore mines + bomb bulb combo that resulted in the bomb raining magic on the enemy.
It's a shame all MH clones basically died after MH World. Even stuff like God Eater which had managed to last more than one generation vanished.
