You know it's true. It wasn't that great but it was good for a rent
That's a wonderful game.
Spiky dude and blockspam over here.
GANBARE SO GANBARE

Holy kino. I begged my parents to get me a controller pak just to beat this game when I would rent it from Blockbuster.
>tfw owned Mystical Ninja but parents never bought us a controller pak
I got to the first Impact boss countless times. Was so happy I could finally see the rest of the game.
Farthest I ever made it was when you have to find the batteries for the robot chick. This game was my first exposure to Japanese culture beyond Mario and Zelda. Changed my life forever.
I rented Iggys wrecking balls and Chameleon Twist 2 a few times. The options were certainly limited but made me appreciate those titles

Patrician taste. I remember that game being weird as frick and I was confused by it, but it was always a fun time when I rented it.
never played this, but saw it at blockbuster all the time
rented this several times, remember enjoying it a lot
Good thread idea!
Soooo many weekends spent playing this mess
>Featuring Eartworm Jim from the Devil May Cry series!
I like how it features Lockjaw on the box who isn't in any way playable or unlockable.
Anyway, I played Mishcief Makers to completion via Blockbuster.
>Earthworm Jim
>Sumo Santa
>Boogerman as a secret boss
So much soul.
Jingle this all the way, b***h. (he may or may not have said b***h i can't remember its been 20 years)

Quite possibly the greatest fatality in any game.
I never owned DKC2 as a kid, but I rented it long enough to 102% it.
I loved all the branching paths you could take and the specific katanas you could get from people depending on what you did.
>can kill any NPC from the start of the game
pretty fun
This shit was hard for me as a kid but pretty solid.
Oh! I remember that. My friend was always playing it.
This game had some magic patch that made the game not fun at all after you bought it. My buddy and I rented this game 4 weeks in a row before he had his dad buy it and we completely stopped giving a frick about it at that point
I thought it was related to Math Blaster, which I played on my computer at the time.
Boy was I in for a surprise.
I wish I had owned it.
