Dexit was a shittest to see what they could get away with Once Game Freak saw shills dancing on the graves of dexitted Pokemon, they released that they could cut anything. Why add dresses if you'll buy it anyways.
Gen 6 had models where you could wear dresses while pedaling bikes. You are telling me the same studio with more money cannot fix a clipping issue with motorcycles where the player doesn’t have to move their legs at all almost a decade later. Frick off.

Switch and 3DS development are completely different, it's understandable that you can do something on one console but not another. Or do you think just throwing money at it will fix it? That's not how the world works.
I think a more powerful console using much better graphics should logically present the opportunity to solve this problem if they could already do it with less almost 10 years ago.
>XY was a powerful start for trainer customization >ORAS didn't have it, don't care >SuMo had okay clothes but moronic "dye shop" system that made it hard to have fun with different color combos or to get the colors you wanted >SwSh fashion was bland and mostly disappointing, not that it mattered in the main game because of the sportswear uniforms being forced onto the player >BDSP only had sets which weren't even that plentiful and a cop-out >PLA has androgynous Animal Crossing-style clothes that either sex can wear with slight differences, colors are plentiful but very few style options and nothing especially feminine for girls to wear >SV is a worse SwSh in terms of being forced into wearing a uniform but just different types of uniforms and the colors may be locked because of the game's theme with orange and purple
BW remakes better not drop the ball or I'll be fricking livid. If they just don't have customization I won't even be mad, I'd rather not have it then have it and be let down again. I haven't recovered from SwSh.
SV is basically just PLA and SwSh combined with the shitty androgynous clothing.
>BW remakes better not drop the ball or I'll be fricking livid
If they ACTUALLY implement QoL changes that some of the games already have instead of pulling a BDSP then it will probably be okay. It's still hilarious to me that ORAS was a better remake for RS than BDSP was for DP. Gutting contests was a mistake.
I never understood the disconnect between needs on Ganker demanding traditional women, when they aren't traditional men. You scum around Ganker, overweight and unwashed, with no job and no fitness, and get mad when you aren't the only one who doesn't fit traditional values.
Do Americans really think a girl merely wearing a skirt makes her "traditional"? If so, then a man merely wearing a shirt and pants is also "traditional".
There would be no issue if it was only the MC, we’ve already had a couple MC’s with no skirts/dress.
The issue is that it’s nowhere to be seen, even for a character as Iconic as Nurse Joy. The only character that comes close is that Blue and red haired mutant who has it transparent to show shorts underneath.
The region confusingly seems to be allergic to dresses on women.

It would clip with the motorcycle animations. Sorry.
Damn, if only a multi billion dollar franchise could find a way to make it work.
Money doesn't matter when the studio is indie moron

Yeah, kids have to wear a school uniform when at school.
Are you saying that there are no school uniforms with dresses?
Except all Spanish school uniforms you see have skirts?
“In this game you will be able to train and interact with 400 different pokemon—with each pokemon having a special tera form!”
“What about clothing options? Have those increased since last time?”
“Sorry, we wasted our time developing sparkly headdresses and forgot about clothing. Prease understando”
>discarding your game's MC for a bunch of generic, middling clothing options
Good. Return to how it should be, the definitive player character.

i mean IT'S FRICKING SPAIN.
the country known for flamenco dancing must at least have SOME dresses and skirts somewhere, right?
Yes? Women traditionally wore dresses/skirts, modern women more often don't. But nice try rephrasing to try to make it seem less reasonable.
If you ever find yourself unironically saying "merely", just give up.
I kill weaker organisms for sport. That makes me a TRVE trad male.
Why are trannies so upset they can't wear a pretty dress on their surrogate dress up dolly? It still won't make you a real woman.

Why does it matter what they wear again
Because ugly character design is bad.
