did a quick google search for black game devs. results were slim. basically 3 black guys who worked at EA and some dude from 40 years ago was involved in the Fairchild F console. At least tabletop games had Mike Pondsmith. Too back CDR boned that up.
Considering the legendary Derek Smart of Battlecruiser fame is a genius programmer and sublimely gifted game designer, I'd say they're doing pretty good.
