goyvidia need more money
Wouldn't "garden gnomevidia" make more sense?
saw "ngreedia" on one web
What's a premium model?
my life savings
$899
just buy a 6650
I swear to God my next GPU's gonna be an Intel Arc this shit's horrible.
>this is supposed to be the "affordable" model
no that would be the xx60, but nowadays it's the xx50
The 4060 will just be a 3070 with a narrower bus and frame gen and priced at $699. The 4050 lmfao is just going to be a 3060 with frame gen at $599.
4060 ti
only 599$
buy now goyim
you mean 700$
man I remember buying my 560 ti for 200 euros back in 2011
those were the days
I remember getting my 8800GTX (flagship card) for £450.
that card was fucking insane
I think you could run crysis at 60fps with it or some shit at 1280 1024
The card that destroyed ATi
I think some of the budget ATI cards were good until the 5XX nvidia series launched
Like my 5770 HD was really good for the price point at the time
I remember doing my diligence and getting a 4870. Maybe they didn't sell well but they were competitive cards.
I had an sli 8800GTX PC that I got for free and I remember being really disappointed that Mass effect barely improved framerate when I moved to a 5770 HD.
That thing lasted me forever, though. Until I got a GTX960.
Those were later, the best ATi card at the time was the X1950XTX and the 8800 destroyed it. Then ATi were bought by AMD and released the HD2000 series that completely bombed, i remember them having to sell the flagship card for around £350 at release because even though it came a year afyer the 8800GTX it was still considerably slower.
AMD have been playing catchup ever since despite having some good attempts like the HD5000 series.
>ATi were bought by AMD
wtf I thought it was way later
I looked up some article and apparently it was 2006
Absolutely whack. I still call them ATI from time to time when talking to my friends on voice and they don't know what i'm talking about lol.
I still have my 9800 GTX+ laying around somewhere. used that card forever
>8800GTX (flagship card) for £450.
>released on November 2006.
Adjusted for inflation thats 800 GBP in current year.
Wages don't rise with inflation, £450 leaving my account is better than £800 leaving my account.
>Wages don't rise with inflation
Noted, will remember to tell this to the Korean escort next time when I give her $200 instead of $500 for the night.
only retards pays this much for a whore
I mention it because it was
30 minutes -$50 (handjob blowjob )
1 hour - $100
night - $200 (some also asked for cab fare and such so up to $300)
back in 2019.
Also its trough agency so not some HIV ridden street walker.
Just don't buy it. You don't need it. Your machine runs fine as-is. Stop being such a fucking conHispanicuous consumer.
Thats supposed to be the middle class model.
You can buy a used 3080 10GB for $450.
Its the same performance with higher power consumption
My series x was $500. Still runs games Well. Looks good
Too bad the Series S is going to stop devs from releasing their games on Xbox in the future.
Thank GOD computing is becoming a non poorfag industry again. Just take your phones and consoles and fuck off.
>beyond gaming
You will pay for features you will never use and you will like it!
At this point I'll probably just run my 3080 until it breaks. I don't play anything too intensive, I don't feel like going beyond 1440p, and I'm on Linux so ray tracing is an even bigger meme than usual. I thought I was splurging buying the 3080 when I probably could have used a 3070, but I can't fathom how someone can honestly look at this newest generation of cards and have no problem paying for one.
lots of people (myself included) have started working from home since the pandemic
Money that would've been spent on gas and cheap work lunches is saved and spent on dumb stuff now while still adding to savings
Wish everyone could benefit the same, gas should be paid by your employer
Food stamps should be for everyone making less than 100k/yr
Healthcare should be free
here with a 3070, I was planning to upgrade but prices are just ridiculous. 750 bucks for a 4070 with a narrower bus and less vram? fuck that
only reason to upgrade atm is to do AI stuff. otherwise unironically keep using your old card for older games and if you really want to play new games then buy a ps5. a lot of new releases have denuvo so you can't pirate them at release anyway and whatever you have now should be able to run indies just fine.
