Everyone here always shits on fromsoft games before they come out and then inevitably buy the game and play the shit out of it. Ganker cried about Sekiro. Ganker cried about Elden Ring. This is the internet: you can't actually stop people from watching or trying out something, and the more elusive you try to make it the more people want to try it. Like, have you even heard of the Streisand Effect? Advances in emulation and download speeds and hardware and filesharing and what else have you have made it easier to acquire and enjoy media from the past. All you're left with here is a bunch of morons reflexively going "AIIIEEEE WE SHOULD HAVE GATEKEPT MORE" to eachother, whenever they hear of some news they don't like. It's literally just the THEY TOOK OUR JERBS meme without the slightest shred of self-awareness. ARMORED CORE VI FIRES OF RUBICON is exactly what you get when you DO GATEKEEP. It is a true AC game for true gamers, it doesn't pander to anyone but its own niche target audience, no open-world, no crafting, no time-wasting, just pure mission based indepth mech customization gameplay. NOT A SOULS LIKE 🙂 Eat shit and die OP.
As a true Souls fan, words can't describe how happy I am that FromSoftware is taking a break from the souls formula and making a new Armored Core game! This break is very much needed after the casualized and boring open world abomination that is Elden Ring.
Bloodborne & Sekiro > DaS2:SOTFS > DaS & DeS > DaS3 > Elden Ring
The only good thing I can say about Elden Ring is that it will forever be the sole identifier of who the pretenders, fakes, wannabes, newcomers, casuals and zoomers are in the new FromSoftware community/fandom. Thank you Miyazaki for scamming the subhuman general masses out of their money with Elden Ring and investing all that money into true FromSoftware games such as Armored Core VI, Miyazakis "more abstract fantasy RPG" solo directed game, Sekiro II and more to come! I had partially lost respect for Miyazaki, but after what he said to the world during his Game Awards speech, he regained my full respect. He told the world that he has made up his mind and will create far superior and more interesting games than Elden Ring, even Miyazaki hates Elden Ring and admits that it is nothing more than a shitstain and that he is determined to wipe it out, he doesn't want Elden Ring to ruin his reputation and legacy! Miyazaki ended his speech by saying "we at FromSoftware will continue to make the games we want", meaning that they won't allow outside influences or sales numbers to determine what games they make.

Their desperation, their denial, claiming it would be a souls-like, being BTFO by Miyazaki himself, seeing them squirm and cry their last cries of pain as they perish, becoming the laughing stock of Ganker, I fricking love it.
