This version is overrated and overpriced. Still not arcade perfect, many combos and timings are off. If you want arcade perfect, stick to the actual board or emulation. If you want home version characters, PS1 and DC are almost the same but cost way way less and have better sound.

nah its pretty good, I got a copy. Stay mad poor gay
saturn got nothing but shiddy arcade ports and they too are worthless haha
>overrated
[by whom?]
>overpriced
Saturn games are free champ
I feel like the fact it's on Dreamcast and in English should kind of negate the Saturn version, yeah it uses the expanded RAM but that's nothing the Dreamcast can't handle
>it uses the expanded RAM but that's nothing the Dreamcast can't handle
Graphically yes, but it's the gameplay that matters. All home ports are equally not arcade perfect. What is funny though is that ps1 version has arcade faithful screen resolution and the sound is much better than on Saturn.
>ps1 version has arcade faithful screen resolution and the sound is much better than on Saturn.
Oh it’s this autist again
ps1 version is a fricking dog turd
Nah, bro. PS1 Alpha 3 was pretty good considering the console's limits. If you want a turd, go play X-Men vs. Street Fighter: EX Edition instead.
>All home ports are equally not arcade perfect
This. Any fool can see that the X68k port of Strider and the NES """port""" of Strider are "equally not arcade perfect"
Which system has the best controller for a 6 button fighter though? I know when I play the PSP version on my Vita it feels so good except the controls are total garbage
Default controller on Saturn is the best obviously. Other systems have decent stick options.
They made controllers specifically for this on PS1 and Dreamcast, I get what you mean though. It's why Saturn tends to be the preferred fighting game console
>preferred fighting game console
Preferred 2d fighting game console*
If I had a better controller I'd say the Dreamcast version is superior.
I can use my Saturn wireless pads on the Dreamcast via the Brook Wingman SD but the inputs don't register as cleanly as I'd like (compared to natively on the Saturn).
I think the ASCII pad for DC is for that
I had one of those and it was fricking terrible.
What are the issues with the Dreamcast port of SFA3?
No 240p, different physics and timings from the arcade
>No 240p
Try the PAL version
>Try the PAL version
>PAL version
Yeah, what’s the matter?

It's been 2 decades, get over it
Get over what?
How do the Saturn and Dreamcast versions differ? I would have assumed they'd be mostly identical since the Saturn version came out after.
Dramatic Battle, least. Every home release of SFA3 has a different set of Dramatic Battle features.
It also has the the PS1 World Tour mode, which is less good.
