>OpRainfall games
Good even great inclusion and an important fan campaign. Xenoblade Chronicles has finally gotten its DE which has the most content on Switch and overall QoL, but The Last Story and Pandora's Tower are both still unique JRPG history. Also Pandora's is a big one for having a monster waifu.
>Sin and Punishment StarSuccessor
Seems like the Switch would be a perfect platform for another sequel spiritual or otherwise.
>NMH1 and 2
Both were great in their original forms, and the sequels and ports were solid as well
>Metroid Prime Trilogy
So far the best version of the trilogy, particularly played on Dolphin and/or PrimeHack emulator. Switch remaster of Prime 1 is worthy, but still waiting on 2 and 3.
>Rhythm Heaven Fever
Nice rhythm follow up to the DS titles.
>Fire Emblem Radiant Dawn
Grown up Ike swinging his big dick sword around. Great classic FE for its time. If you play it today, its good to play Path of Radiance first from Gamecube if you want the full story. This was the time when FE titles weren't as big as they would become post Awakening but they were still solid.
>Tatsunoko vs Capcom
Fucking fantastic for a VS fighter, but alas we'll probably never get the licensing sorted out again to allow a sequel or even something similar in spirit. Also a lot of the Tatsunoko characters are unrecognizable by zoomers and even most millennials etc.
>Muramasa The Demon Blade
Beautiful Vanilllaware, its a fucking crime that the good version is locked behind PS Vita release. Still a good game, but the Switch and PC for that matter deserve a remastered version of Muramasa Rebirth
>Trauma Center New Blood, Second Opinion, Trauma Team
Fucking yes! A great techno-medical thriller that Atlus should bring back so long as they didn't fuck the localization. The DS titles were fun and it was nice seeing them come to Wii, but they seem perfect for Switch, PC, or even Android mobile . Wonder why they abandoned the series?

Wii was creatively amazing. Switch is kinda just psp with detachable controllers. Unless it's switch lite, then I guess it's just one of those psp models that didn't have tv output
The Switch is perhaps the true successor to the Wii in that it has both the core games and the innovative input shit. Compare the accuracy of aiming or whatever with a single JoyCon to the waggle of a Wii controller even w/MotionPlus and its a significant step forward. Ring Fit is a fuckload beyond the Wii Balance Board etc. The Wii was a solid console and was most importantly hackable/moddable and playable online so long as you didn't cheat, but the Switch if you look at games alone and it have a fair bit in common.
Its just too bad Nintendo decided to get their head up their ass about not having anything BUT games for the Switch. No fun little side utilities, no capabilities for the kind of stuff that was on the 3DS or Wii where you had Miiverse, Netflix, a full Browser, Weather channel and all sorts of other stuff. Imagine if the Switch came with a Nintendo skinned version of Kodi so you could play media on it, especially when docked etc. Their fears about piracy basically kicked the whole thing in the dick which is annoying
Yeah I really loved waiting 3 whole minutes from power on to game title just for a bunch of bloat features on the OS.
Wii U ran like dogshit and the snappy minimal performance of the Switch is way better.
What the fuck are you talking about? We're discussing the Wii not WiiU, and the Wii (just like the DS and 3DS) ran fine. The biggest wait was literally spinning up the discs and if you modded the Wii (I had a WODE modchip on mine directly connected to a USB HDD with ISOs on it. You could also load from softmods too). it was instant.
>No fun little side utilities, no capabilities for the kind of stuff that was on the 3DS or Wii where you had Miiverse, Netflix, a full Browser, Weather channel and all sorts of other stuff.
Specifically mentioned wii u though he forgot the U. Or if he just meant miiverse on 3ds and not wii u it seems silly to pretend that they didn't already try this.
That was their console full of side features and it's inferior to the switch.
They already massively regressed when the Wii launched, to the point of packaging video tutorials with their games and the Wiimote was pretty unergonomic just to have its weird NES controller gimmick that no good games used.
Even towards the end of its lifespan they couldn't release games that took full advantage of their controller and just kind of flailed around, they couldn't even cooperate with third parties that well and released their gyroscope add-on and controller refresh without really informing anyone, especially studios making games that would have benefited from it.
It's bizarre that it took until Splatoon for gyro aim to become a thing on their console and even weirder that they just didn't apply any of the lessons they should have learned on the Wii to the Switch. The Joycons have a mostly unused IR sensor that could have maybe been used for lightgun aiming and they did the stupid sideways controller shit again.
Motion controls tied to a controller are better for now since they can actually be used for gameplay. Maybe as tracking fidelity and force feedback rigs get better there might be more of a point to it.
>This was an amazing console.
It was >Why isn't nintendo creative anymore?
They are. The Switch is the most innovative console of the market right now
The Switch is the only console on the market, that's not saying much.
>been ported >plays better with controller than waggle
You don't even know that Wii has 4 controller inserts on its top, do you? That the Wiimote has buttons on it???
They try so hard to ignore the half dozen other "waggle" tech Sony and Microsoft attempted to sell as support but was, instead, expensive shit for even shittier games that couldn't read it. Once.
>It ruined my console wars because people played games instead of looked at polygons and framerate

People always talk about the motion controls and not enough about the wii pointer. It's genuinely the best console shooter experience I ever had. I remember checking out gyro controls years later and absolutely hating how much shittier it was.
>portable game market
Dude. Phones did that real quick.
Yeah, Nintendo has handheld consoles, but holy shit that don't make money like phone gacha does.

Does it matter which Trauma Team game you play first

>Trauma Team
based brown girl enjoyers
101.6 million sales 🙂
it has the endless ocean games so I really like it.
But switch already outsold it?
That doesn't mean that switch is creative
Creative =/= Amazing
Wii was creatively amazing. Switch is kinda just psp with detachable controllers. Unless it's switch lite, then I guess it's just one of those psp models that didn't have tv output
Honestly Wii had like 3 good games
It was mostly a gimmick like VR but was cheap so lots of people were able to buy it
>Creative
Isn't that what killed the Wii U
The switch was pretty creative
The dark ages of Nintendo.
Only thing it really has going for it is the Virtual Console, especially Neo Geo and TurboCD since that shit's expensive.

snoys getting desperate

The Switch is the only console on the market, that's not saying much.
That's just a proto-kinect. This thing is genuinely more analogous to the Wiimote.
>anymore
"You mean I gotta GET UP and MOVE MY ARMS to play games??? No way. I'm not some child. I'm gonna sit here and look at my phone, now."
The Wii was garbage, weak and overpriced. Every game that has been ported plays a million times better with a normal controller than with the waggle.
>been ported

>have a nice day you stupid tendie
why do you dipshits want creativity all the time? it's like you wanna eat pizza every single day.
>it's like you wanna eat pizza every single day.
um yeah i do
It ruined a whole decade of vidya by making waggle and gimmicks popular. Also it introduced normies into gaming.
>it introduced normies into gaming.
Thats the fault of ~~*gaming journos*~~
I thought it was really funny watching Microsoft and Sony struggle with their own shitty waggling technologies.
They try so hard to ignore the half dozen other "waggle" tech Sony and Microsoft attempted to sell as support but was, instead, expensive shit for even shittier games that couldn't read it. Once.

The only people who hate the Wii are fats and people with bad motor functions
or people that like good games
You wouldn't know a good game even if you had games snoy

The GameCube, Nintendo DS, and the Wii will be Nintendo's best products. The Switch fucking sucks.
gay retard
It runs like two gamecubes stuck together but I love it.
People always talk about the motion controls and not enough about the wii pointer. It's genuinely the best console shooter experience I ever had. I remember checking out gyro controls years later and absolutely hating how much shittier it was.
They've effectively cornered the portable game market. Their goal is probably to just not screw that up.
>portable game market
Dude. Phones did that real quick.

it had a low attach rate
