both of them should not have the tires in the slightest. the future one can just hover, it has jets. the wheels don't even touch the ground. the past one LITERALLY JUST RUNS. it can just swim normally too, he really doesn't need the "floaties". both are just so moronic and unnecessary it's honestly surprising just how bad gamefreak made it. like im talking trophy winning kind of bad, it's a legit feat.
They found ways to make a fricking fish fin rotate like a propeller but now it's such a big deal to find a way to get Koraidon 2 wheels.
The actual problem here was that they really wanted the 2 to be the same shit with a different skin. Cause otherwise Miraidon would fly differently, maybe transform like a transformer too since it's an robot and Koraidon would have a more interesting design for jt, either not have wheels or run on its chest wheel only which would also work for a lizard. This is a severe case of prease understando and it's sad it happened to the legendaries
The fact Miraidon CAN'T fly but just glide when it got 2 turbo motors it's as absurd as Koraidon's wheels. These designs are failed. Wanted to put so many things in 2 designs that are also gotta be identical to one another for some reason, past and future, vehicle, lizard, and fail to deliver any and everything. Shitty
>the wheels don't even touch the ground.
They do. Sure, they's a very tiny amount of space to prevent clipping, but the wheels spin and you can barely notice that they're not quite implemented right. It'll ride on the ground in the anime.
i don't get why it has to be so on the fricking nose. why does it need black tire treads and two wheels that are exactly the same size? if would look so much better with blue accents instead of the black tires and if the proportions were tweaked but instead they gave it the worst of both worlds
>Go out of your way to make a mount look like a motorcyle >Have it run on all fours because you tried to give a animal wheels but realized half-way through that animals can't have wheels >Make Promo-art that heavily implies that it can use its wheels >Also there's a mechanical version of this mon that has real wheels that can actually rotate, but it hovers, making the wheels pointless
How did they manage to frick up absolutely everything?
>They could make them out of rock or something
I tried to so something like that. This started off as a redesign but it become different enough that I just might make it its own thing. Top is how it looked before domestication, Middle is after its been domesticated, Bottom is how it looks when its being ridden.
what's worse, the other one actually looks like the "wheels" are just its body. this one actually looks like it has black tire wheels attached to it. the whole "past" and "future" concepts are totally backwards. just look at the boxart. koraidon looks like its got a fricking wheel on its neck. miraidon just has a neck.
Dumb. Major frickup.
I know they're trying to aim for the "past vs future" thing, but you don't make one box legendary 10000x cooler than the other, you'd think they would have learned from the sword and shield dogs, whatever they're called.
Like, why bother?
Definitely 10000% should've gone with wheels it carves out of stone, or no wheels at all.
I know I'd be pissed if I went in blind and had no clue the past one didn't have real wheels, I have to wonder how kids would feel about it.
Regardless, I'm not getting these games either unless they pull some crazy amazing new thing out of their asses at the last second, Shit/Shitty soiled my interest in playing the franchise, even LGPE was better.
Not like abstaining from buying the games matters anyway, Pokemon as a whole is immune to criticism and people just buy it out of habit now.
Anon, the designs for both Pokemon clearly showed the wheres were fake in a similar way to how Amoongus has a fake pokeball in its head. The designs from the boxart show the “wheels” are connected entirely to the body and is a semi-circle.
I really like it.
Not only does it fit better with the past theming, but also just makes more sense biologically.
Yeah, I know Pokemon is far from being biologically accurate often or make sense (like how Ninetales survives the colder climates by becoming an Ice type), but this I can appreciate. Having Koraidon having a pair of 2 wheels one its body and have the functionality of a motorcycle would be insanely stupid. You’re telling me that the Legendary that is supposed to represent a time period with cavemen have evolved enough to have a pair of wheels it can spin around at will?
We have literal gear Pokemon, but only in more contemporary times.
>You’re telling me that the Legendary that is supposed to represent a time period with cavemen have evolved enough to have a pair of wheels it can spin around at will?
What if ancient man in Pokemon's world designed the wheel on Koraidon. Would be a big brained move.
It looks so bad I don't want to buy Scarlet anymore.
What's the point of making it look like a silly bike then? Just make a four legged pokémon and that's it.
The other legendary isn't that much better btw, it stands out like a sore thumb.
Koraidon just proves that gayfreak has no talented people in the company.
the concept was a lizard turning into a motorcycle but the 3D and animations departments are just college rejects with no experience to animate the pokemon so they gave it Arcanine's animations and still shamelessly selling the game for $60+tax
Its so dumb it made me change my mind of which version to buy.
It can look kind of dumb at first glance but makes sense if they have a purpose. But having them only for a decoration to look like a bike while just running is incredibly stupid.
If Im stuck with them the entire game I rather pick the other version which at leats has actual wheels
It would make a lot more sense if they inflated when Koraidon is standing up and make it a pufferfish-like intimidation tactic.
And deflate while running, so they don't get in the way.
It does the opposite of that. What were the devs thinking?
then why the frick are they there
I like it

The wheels of Miraidon aren't even real wheels according to their descriptions and are "energy". Lol.
Still fricking badass and actually use that 'energy' to move itself instead of using its legs
this is pokemon, they easily could have made them wheels. just look at barraskewda's rotating fins. but no, they went full moron
They could make them out of rock or something, this idea is so fricking moronic, why don't just ride normal mons?
>They could make them out of rock or something

cool bro. good design
Thanks, if I continue with the concept I’ll be sure to post it.

Nope, look they are not spinning on the art
mostly rage, with some confusion and disappointment as well
>Could effortlessly drive you around on wheels
>Chooses to run on all fours instead
I'm thinkin based
It's astonishing how GF manages to frick up even the smallest things.
I lobve it. Also it has no tires as they dont spin. One is a tail and one is his blowsack
It's fricking moronic, but nothing I wouldn't expect of the small indie company
They aren't tires
Doesn't matter, it's obviously designed to look like a tire and it's fricking moronic.
not a wheel you mong, its a fricking sack
I like both pokemon, but the motorbike thing is still full moron.
What was the point? Could've just made it a normal lizard.
Dumb. Major frickup.

people who seriously think that way need to get recycled into spare organs and mystery meat way more than the average street bum does

You mean were inspired by Koraidon’s sacks?
