Whatever happened to the mad father from mad father anyways? I remember him cameoing in another horror school game where he chainsaws some girl in some kind of zombie form

Witch's House biggest problems are the lame jumpscares and chase sequences but at least it's straight forward and doesn't have out of place QTEs like Mad Father.

Whatever happened to the mad father from mad father anyways? I remember him cameoing in another horror school game where he chainsaws some girl in some kind of zombie form

You're thinking of the game Misao which is an indirect sequel to Mad Father. Basically:
        >Alfred (the father) was a serial killer who experimented on the homeless because he wanted to create eternal beauty
        >goes as far as dressing his daughter like a doll and plans on turning her into one
        >mother finds out and gets killed
        >daughter gets help from a demon and his assistant and stops him
        >daughter escapes with assistant and they live peacefully together (sorta of)
        >it's later revealed that Alfred figured out cloning technology and there was a clone of his daughter ready to be awakened
        >demo takes him and the clone away
        As for Misao
        >you can play as a boy (human) or girl (demon)
        >spirit of bullied girl curses the school and shit hits the fan
        >demon shows up with the clone as students in the school who help out the protagonist
        >Alfred's lab and part of his house are now a part of the cursed school
        >he's back and just mindlessly murdering students
Misao is an incredible sequel too, way better than Mad Father.

Neat. Its too bad Misao is never talked about anymore. The incel teacher in that game is super fricked and I still perfectly remember the cutscenes with him

          >part of his house are now a part of the cursed school
It's been years since I've touched Misao but when was this and which rooms? I only remember Alfred's lab. Or are you talking about the library?

            Anonymous

The library was fused with Miss Library's room which in itself is a big reference to Mad Father. You can see part of Alfred's lab in the science lab with the Mandragora and the experimentation room. There's also a room with a living doll but I forgot exactly where it is (it's nearby).

Just like me and my mom. Chained to raising an antichrist. So she cried one day when driving me because all I can do is complain and never speak up. I find social interaction boring. I never should've learned to read because of all the junk information in the world. I heard a voice from the beyond when I was a child when I was beginning to pick up words. I still somehow remember that feeling, every moment I live is within. It's like my mind is within a memory and living space thus creating the half-asleep brain. It's like writing is my destressor but I never get the chance to save my own writing because Reddit is terrible and Ganker purges posts. The only writing I save is for egotistical purposes sadly. I spend 24/7/365 days a year on this site. My lifetime is like rannis tower filled with shit posts made by others. But I know that I am not alone on Ganker. Yes. The greatest irony would be finding out you were posting with bots the whole time and all the members of your species aren't capable of accessing the Internet.

It's like finding out Destiny 2 makes normies happy. People just don't know how to play cool games in real life. And they don't care. People don't like fun.

glad to know i wasn't the only one left behind. makes me feel less lonely
        >Why can't you move on?
no one told me that i had to. i unironically believed that great rpgm games would keep coming out, i was still waiting for an ice scream rpg and the mogeko castle dlc/expansion/snow chapter up until very recently, no one told me that rpgm games are gonna stop coming and that artificial intelligence will be able to make better art then people who spent years practicing it, and when i realised all of that i became an "adult" I'm now expected to have children so my parents can get grandchildren and I'm expected to get a job(a high paying one) and buy a house(somehow). it's no fricking wonder i never moved on, the rpgm years were the best years of my life and these games are some of the best experiences i have and having forcibly moved on from that i want to cry because everything is shit and i desperately want to go back but i can't because that time not only passed but is never coming back especially with AI art.
if i could delete my memories and experience it again i would do it in a heartbeat, but i can't.
        it's over.
but as sad as i am i unironically am glad it happened. even if i can't go back the memories i had the people i met and the games i played are something that drives me to this day and whenever i remember it or see a thread like this i get happy and it makes me feel like everything will be alright

          >f i could delete my memories and experience it again i would do it in a heartbeat
You too, huh? Same, but I´d keep a few just to not repeat the same moronic mistakes I made back then. While I wouldn't call those days the most perfect, there was one person who made them memorable and I wouldn't trade them for anything. And it just so happens that they were the same person who introduced me to Ib in the first place.
I wish I could give you a solid piece of advice but given that we're in a similar boat, the only thing I can think of is just take one step at a time. Don't try to tackle everything at the same time and take whatever small victory you earn until you get to a place where you want to be. Not what society, your parents or anyone else wants you to be, Easier said than done, but it's possible as long as you have a drive and a will.
          >spoiler

        >that VN
The most unforgettable horror porn game I've ever played. No other game had a bunch of elementary schoolers gangbang a teenage girl against a wall. And the teenage girl loved it. No other game I've played had a 17 year old bishonen guy drink a 14 year old girl's piss and chase her down the hall to rape her, only to wind up getting anally raped by a 32 year old fat man. I still remember the scene where a 16-17 girl was hiding under a bed as her same age best friend was having sex with that same 32 year old fat guy on top. She heard every moan, bed shake and sound. In the wrong end she was discovered under the bed by her friend and made to join. A most terrifying scene was when an unwilling girl relives another girl's sex memories. The girl in the memory consented but the reliving girl didn't. It didn't matter that she was mentally screaming, her body in the memory did all the motions and actions as in history. It's like mind control rape except the victim was fully aware. Another scene the same girl and a friend were almost raped in a magic sex ritual, saved by the girl's older sister, and the backlash made the older sister want to rape her younger sister and friend.

The e-girl in this pic is freakishly lewd and once disguised herself as a teenage girl, fricked a boy until he nearly came, transformed back saying
        >You thought you were having sex with a highschooler weren't you? I'm an elementary schooler all along!
And leglocks that boy, forcing him to cum inside her unprotected, when he screams in fear upon learning this. This isn't even getting into the tentacles, the gay sex, the lesbian sex, the incest, the sequel's mother/daughter lesbian scene, etc. The first chapter alone contains lots of lesbian sex scenes with an unavoidable girl jerking off in the bathroom. Truly horror is intrinsically connected with sexuality.

        >Garry and Ib years later
        >still friends and meet regularly
        >Garry cleaned up a bit to avoid negative attention
        >Ib slightly less silent, still adorable
        >extremely supportive of each other, complete and unquestioning mutual trust
        >not a single shred of lewd to be found
        >at one point in Sequel they get separated and the painted world plants a copy of the other with each of them

      >Ib sequel
      >Canon ending here is "Welcome to the World of Guertena".
      >After rumors and accusations of disappearing guests, all Guertena-related galleries are shut down for good. You play an investigative "curiosity killed the cat" character sneaking into a storage area keeping all the now unused art. Shit hits the fan and you enter the art world
      >Guertena's world has become more twisted since the last time anybody has visited. Being removed from the general public has really taken it's toll.
      >Alongside the normal enemies, have Mindbroken Gary and IB as recurring antags alongside Mary? and then in different endings you can either subdue them or save them idk I came up with this in 5 minutes

      >how would Witch's House sequel work if there is one?
It wouldn't. Witch's House's story is over and done and it capped off with no loose ends or necessity to continue the story in a video game format. What you'd want to make is a spiritual successor that examines the ideas Witch's House already put forth (playing as the antagonist, a building of traps, etc.) and twist them on their head, or make them better.

      >how would Witch's House and Ib sequel work if there is one?
you could play as someone hunting the witch after all the bullshit she caused.
it could even have a cool moment of realization when the hero realises who the witch is and why/how she left the house
      >never ever btw

Ib is the RPG Maker horror game that I would recommend newcomers to the genre. It's very well-rounded. It has fun characters, a memorable setting, well-designed puzzles, cute art, and it's not overly dark or uncomfortable.

I like The Witch's House a bit more because of the simple story and how unapologetically fricked up it is.

Mad Father is mid. It could've been way better, but I don't think it's very well executed.

The remakes are all overpriced. I guess it's because these games are still pretty popular in Japan.

It drips in charm and sincerity. Nice little game. An ex of mine introduced it to me, she really loved it. That was over 12 years ago, maybe I should replay it.

This game is like the original quirky RPGmaker game. It's about love and friendship and spooky things. Garry will forever be in my heart.

Fun fact, the main menu track is not an original composition for the game, it was just taken from a Japanese stock music site.

This means it has showed up in other stuff, including porn movies. If you don't believe me, google IPSD-047 and watch it from the beginning
