I like it, I play it with my Boyfriend a lot. Bothers me though how little the survival aspect matters, like, I wish you actually had to eat food and there were more food recipes and shit, like in Don't Starve. I know if you use the Don't Starve seed you require to eat now but the game is not designed around that so gathering food is super hard.
Also I don't like how small the world is, I wish it was an infinite land.
You talking about Starbound? I tried it but didn't like it. Also I think I already played all 3D survival games there are. Jus tried Subnautica a few days ago, it was interesting and new but got boring quickly, not enough combat to keep me interested.
>so gathering food is super hard
not once you get a fishing pole.
but that trivializes the hunger mechanic, as is the usual with hunger mechanics. Valheim got it right with hunger being related to health pool instead of being something that kills you on its own.
>I play it with my Boyfriend a lot.
either you're a homosexual or a liar. there are no girls on the internet, so you're probably a homosexual. >Bothers me though how little the survival aspect matters, like, I wish you actually had to eat food and there were more food recipes and shit, like in Don't Starve
play on the constant >I know if you use the Don't Starve seed you require to eat now but the game is not designed around that so gathering food is super hard.
this homie can't fish, laugh at him >Also I don't like how small the world is, I wish it was an infinite land.
go fricking play starbound if you don't like having to make the most out of your world.
someone please post the screencap of an anon explaining why terraria's limited world makes the space far more valuable than in other games like minecraft where you can just walk far away and start anew, or in starbound where every planet is mass produced indistinct garbage
I have around 600 hours on it, probably more if considering modded, it's a good game, some intense and stimulating high moments, but there's a lot of padding and dead times that can kill your momentum if you don't have patience, some drop rates don't feel right even on expert like turtle shells and frozen turtle shells, which can make getting some stuff very boring.
Making a plant farm for potions is quick and easy and i admit it's kind of fun to actually keep in mind when they bloom so you can harvest them, but fishing, expecially angler quests fricking suck, the cellphone is a very good to not bloat your inventory and everytime i have to deal with that bastard child for sometimes 50 missions a playthrough before i get the pieces, at this point i think i got supreme helper minion twice.
Also boss summonables tend to become annoying to get after you did pretty much everything else there is to do before progressing and you keep dying at the same boss, expecially when it's some really expensive stuff to craft like mechdusa.
By the time I'm in the late game, I miss the early modes of play. Flying around and having high powered weapons that auto target everything is boring compared to the limited movement more skill intensive weapons. Grenades are so much fun to use, I wish there was an item that would let you throw them more frequently and farther in hardmode. Can I also get a potion that totally stops enemy spawns for half a minute? It makes as much sense as drinking a potion to increase spawn rate. There are just moments when you need to fix something without interruptions.
2D Minecraft. Ewww
I HATE IT
Also, 1.5 when?
i can beat it in 10 minutes flat
...just give me endgame gear

do you care if it's 3d or in space(but not that good)

GAY!
Terraria bfs dont exist
breasts
I'm a man.
moobs
*you're a flaming homosexual
terraria isnt a survival game nor is it a sandbox
Well it should be. It's boring to have it be just a pixel game about killing bosses.
It's more than just killing bosses. Learn to build.
Where the frick is the entrance?
I did. I made a huge living tree city and below the tree i have a huge basement full of trophies, blacksmith room, etc.
Building squares in a videogame is still not fun and if all you have going is some pixel art then your game sucks.

Kill your self homosexual loser
>gathering food is super hard

Just got it on PS5 and I have no clue what I'm doing.
i love it! but im sad that i can't build anything cool. 🙁
Expert Journey mode is pretty good
Its boring
gay troony shit
Explain
It's the GOAT.
the only problem i have with this game is getting decent, portable light underground. even high end gear barely illuminates the area around you
just craft 9999 of all potions
it's good and comfy, nice combo of Minecraft and Nintendo games, 10/10 played for hundreds of hours
Vanilla game is excellent.
The popular mods like Calamity are overated garbage filled with cringe.

Mods are a hit or miss

this game is for 8-12year olds, anyone playing past that age is a fricking loser.
Let it die already
Terraria 2 when
