Was the American version nerfed hard or something? I played this in Japanese and got wiped losing an hour of progress twice. It wasn't even a matter of gittin good either, I got into encounters I couldn't possibly win in the early game.
They released english versions of the next two games in the series on Steam. What's the chance of someone inserting the english text into the original PS1 game so I can play it on Duckstation?
Back when NIS relied on Marl Kingdom IP and not Disgaea IP...
I honestly have no idea why they dropped it - Disgaea was never THAT popular after PS2 titles (and talant bleed during Disgaea 3 development made sure the series never recovered) to completely replace Marl Kingdom (which had three titles and even a sidegame set in the same universe - see La Pucelle). Sure, those games were never really hard, but easy RPGs can still be good and popular (see SMRPG).
I have no idea how good the sales of remasters were, but hopefully there's still a chance for NIS to come back to this series - it doesn't even get presence in Disgaea games through Marjoly these days. Cherie had a hard life.
Cute game but its too easy. I want a jarpig to kick me in the dick.
I don't mind the difficulty, the charming dialogue makes up for it
play Unlimited SaGa
play the 7th SaGa
What game?
Crowdia sex.
>Marjoly and the Three Witches
>Punch Witch
>Samurai Weeaboo Witch
>Cat Witch
I guess that's why they don't appear in Disgaea.
Marjorly is so sexo

Ryouji-era art NIS games have such a distinctly comfy and nostalgic aesthetic
>you will never use a Ryouji girl's massive meaty thighs for a pillow
I entered a later game area by mistake and fought harder encounters, turns out the battles can be fun if you’re underleveld
Enjoy it, anon.
The sequel is even more lovely.
the lack of english voice acting in the sequels is a bummer cause I found it charming in the first one as corny as it is
>the lack of english voice acting in the sequels
Only the songs aren't translated. There are several voiced dialogues in english at dramatic moments.

Cherie had a hard life.
Do you really want to see it come back?
What are the chances they'll even get a sequel right?
a finished series can't be ruined
Sounds like you fell for some reverse psychology there. Everybody knows Rhapsody rocks.
Is that the game with the chubby chicks?
