My guess is that Ubisoft will go on a diet on itself in order to sell itself out. Close most of the global studios and keep only the French headquarters.

Feels like the French government would block a foreign acquisition. I think Ubisoft will rescale down, they have too many studios, too many employees but their releases don't line up at all. They should be releasing 3-4 games a year with atleast 1 big a huge flagship game. The problem is they bungled Skull and Bones for years, bungled Watch Dogs 2 and Legion. 2 had legs but initially wasn't the big hit. Division 2 didn't have the legs they envisioned, and Ghost Recon Wildlands went from a 10m+ seller to Ghost Recon Breakpoint literally killing Watch Dogs Legion in blindfire at the same time.

I remember that Ubisoft is actually a family business, and the top CEO and other executives of the company are brothers. Maybe they want to still have control of the company after selling most of their shares.
The problem is that this is impossible, even Microsoft can't give you a large amount of money for free and not intervene in the company in any way.

It looks like all the AAA devs are currently having this issue. Development is starting to be ridiculous and even more than ever, one big stinker could really sink the company
    Hopefully AAA is dead soon

Far cry 3 fricked up ubisoft.

They learnt that they could release copies of the same game with little change and make a killing.
They hardly innovate, they want money without the effort.

Do we even care if ubisoft goes under?
Last time i gave a shit was during south park's second game and rayman legends before that.

we had like 6 or 7 farcry games inbetween FC3 and FC6, we also had around 20 ass creed games, they probably made a killing out of these but somehow it wasn't enough i guess.

That was Assassin's Creed, they released the entire Ezio trilogy before FC3 even came out

They have so many useless studios allegedly making mobile games, does Ubisoft even make mobile games anymore? Close all of those.

      >OY VEY, WE NEED SHEKELS
They are doing fine but they want more than fine. Brothers are looking for sugar Daddy at this point.

    >Twitter insider e-celebs
Please do not give these attention prostitutes any publicity. They are proven liars and clout chasers. The Snitch was the only actual insider, and people were too autistic to let him stay on the platform.
