The one where you have a nice day. Seriously, imagine being this of a shit-taste having moron to think this trash has any value whatsoever and even comparing this to Witcher.
I know nuGanker is bad but just set a new low. No wonder videogames are garbage with lobotomised zombies like you thinking this low-effort garbage is even worth to pirate.
I've tried to play this game maybe 3 times and I always get bored and stop playing after about 8 hours. Why? On the surface it's the same as Dragon Age, how come I subconsciously don't want to play it?
That's..... a really good point but still, I don't even get as far into Greedfall as the others, usually I play up until the 3rd quarter of an RPG and stop playing, this time I can't even get a quarter of the way through it. It's not even a bad game and I like the protagonist because he actually has a job and the game is about you doing his job. But something about it just makes me uninstall and I don't know why. Maybe I'll install again and try it a 4th time
yeah early game melee builds are really bad if you don't spam your pistol because of having to swap to a hammer to break armor first. later on you can upgrade your sword to have more armor break so you will never have to use a hammer
This game did not need a fricking crafting and gathering system. I played to what I think is the middle of the game and I just couldn't be fricking arsed because you had to kill wolves and click on every shining rock you saw and it completely turned me out of the game
It's some fricking committee decision, it has to be. Can you imagine being a game developer, project lead or gameplay designer or whatever the frick and go "yes, this is a good game but it really needs some of that Ubisoft flavor to really become a masterpiece"?
This is the most criminally underrated game of the last generation. No one ever mentions it. No one seem to know that it even exists. Even game journos make all sorts of lists about underrated/obscure games and not even once I've seen this game listed. It went completely under the radar just like Alien Isolation.
We had a lot of good threads when it was still pretty new. It's hard to shitpost about though, there's few /misc/ triggers, so it definitely isn't a common topic on here.
I've really enjoyed seeing SPIDERS get better and better as their games went on. Mars: War Logs was brutally bad, Technomancer was a drastic improvement, and Greedfall was a nice refining of their previous works. I hope they go back to the MWL/TM universe, though, it was much more interesting.
I got the ending where the militant chick got in charge and kicked everyone off the island due to my "no interference" policy, as she was showing up to do the trial just as I was leaving making her a fairer candidate than whoever I 'put' into power.
So then I reloaded my save and joined my jolly cousin. And that was the much better ending.
Me personally, I enjoyed playing a mixed Greatsword/Magic build. Blast them from afar and then when they get close fricking murder them dead.
That said, I hear Guns are definitely optimal. I think I only fired maybe 2 shots the whole game, so they're not required by any means.
I fricking hate divisive games like these because you have two sides claiming it's criminally underrated and the other one saying it's pure shit so you have to play it for like 10 hours to find out on what side you're on.
the game plays like a slower and jankier Witcher 3, the game game has a colonization theme but fricks it up that and changes to an environmentalist theme, the best part is the tutorial in terms of atmosphere(8/10), field skills and conversation options are just skill checks, guns and poisons are OP. the writing is dragon age II/III tier, everyone is either white or black in term of races despite the setting being inspired by the colonization of the Americas( natives can be black or white but have paint and shit in their faces).
to get the best ending just do all factions side quest(there is no specific ending) and save before the last boss. you can also get the worst ending by making a choice there.
I kinda enjoyed it but wouldn't play it again or recommend it
i quit when they forced the native american into my party
moron
keep seething shitskin, the game is pure trash. Maybe go try resetera or reddit, seems like more your style.
>muh seething
You're the one who got buttblasted into ragequitting by the mere presence of not-indians in a video game.
same. knew it was fishy when kotaku kept shilling this shit.
>He didn't want to romance Siora
Gay

>puts Witcher on a pedestal
>says others have shit taste
oh the ironing

When was the last time you played an RPG from start to finish?
That's..... a really good point but still, I don't even get as far into Greedfall as the others, usually I play up until the 3rd quarter of an RPG and stop playing, this time I can't even get a quarter of the way through it. the combat sucks complete ass and the wilderness is full of damage sponges. it's just tedious to play all the way through

max whatever the stasis spell is called then circle around and hit it in the back with whatever your favorite weapon is
Dragon Age has better writing(at least in Origins)
It really doesn't. Origins was just grimdark LotR.
games pretty good hopefully the sequel tops it
how's the DLC?
did not play the dlc. i just joined my cousin in the end and didnt touch the game after.
the one where you side with your cousin. family > all those morons

i hate open world games that force you into crafting systems to upgrade your shit without there being alternatives; it's just a shitty timesink

it's a solid 7/10 overall
story wise it was made with a diversity checkbox so once you notice it you know how the story will go

>sequel
the God ending, unironically

How do I make the best out of the combat?
Melee doesnt feel good. Should I just go Guns/Magic?
guns, potions, bombs
that's how we roll
Me personally, I enjoyed playing a mixed Greatsword/Magic build. Blast them from afar and then when they get close fricking murder them dead.

>How do I make the best out of the combat?
make sure you can craft ammo, then focus stun > healing > guns in that order
I don’t play games that end in -fall based on principle
AYO DIS homie MISSED OUT ON TITANFALL

Only real answer is siding with the homie Cousin everything else is shit and of course, colonizing Siora is also a valid answer
Cousin fricker ending is best and only ending.
