I used to buy games ''because they're cheap''
Put them all in a folder called BIN and started over.
Now i only buy games i want to play immediately

Do something that's very different from gaming for a little while, and your desire to play vidya will return. Exercising, going outside, and doing chores for a while will make the vidya feel like a reward, rather than a distraction.

this and also when I start feeling this way, when I'm in the mood to play vidya but can't find anything appealing, I use one of those library clients. Playnite and Launchbox-type things that put all of your stuff together into one launcher. I use filters to find stuff I haven't played and hit random and play whatever I get for an hour to see if I'm into it. Even if it doesn't seem appealing to me. I usually find stuff that I would otherwise ignore that I got like years ago because it was like 50 cents or something on a steam sale or part of a humble bundle. Has helped me get through my backlog of stuff and helped with fatigue with games

    >Finally find a new game I like after months of no interest
    >Binge it nonstop over the course of 3-6 days, exhaust all possible content
    >Despair as I have to find another game

It has gotten so severe in my mid 20s that I feel this way about waking up.
My life is literally just completing some indie game to keep me occupied or playing the same three multilayer games to let my mind escape this hell that is my existence.
I wish I was never born.

The only wrong thing you did is buying a new gpu.
New games are shit, specially AAA.

A common issue I find is that people treat video games like a checklist.
    >"I HAVE to play this latest new popular game"
    >"I NEED to buy this game right now even though I won't play it for months or even years, thus adding to my stress of having a backlog"
    >"I can't play this game, it's over 100 hours long and I have no time for that!"
This sort of mentality is how you get burnout. Infact it's how you burn yourself out on anything.
What I recommend doing is just only playing when you have legitimate interest to come back to a specific game. If you don't want to play it anymore, it's okay to drop video games, nobody's forcing you to beat everything you've ever played.
Even with retro video games, lives are put in as a reason to encourage you to come back and get better, of course there's little chance of you sweeping through it in your first playthrough. That feeling of playing a hard-ass game, slowly getting better at it overtime, making obstacles that gave you a hard time suddenly your b***h, and finally clearing it is one of the best feelings you can get with gaming. Then, of course, you can come back to it again and again, trying to see how much better you can do it.
I believe in you Anon, rediscover that passion for vidya.

I feel like that for almost all games, the exception is Heroes of the Storm, I can play 3+ hours a day without getting tired
