The buyers want to sell it for 350 and profit off of your pricing, just destroy it.

Broke ass people will ask you to take a penny instead on a dollar. Ignore them like most people do.

If you start undercutting they'll think you're looking to get rid of it quickly so they'll hope you're desperate enough to get lowballed even more. Sometimes it's just best to go with the trends.

Yeah, same thing happens to me. I hate 'people'.

I feel like when someone does agree they're gonna show up to buy it and be "short" $30

This, years of ebay and Craigslist and fb marketplace also show that the "buyer" is sometimes a psychologically broken individual craving dominance by getting you to come down on price with no intention on showing up at all. For a frighteningly large portion of the users, it's a parasocial activity for gratification they're lacking IRL, like watching sitcoms and pretending they have friends.

They haven't. Nobody in their right mind will pay $300 for a Gamecube unless it has a shit ton of aftermarket modifications installed.

They don't have a gamecube factory anymore. Lack of fresh supply increases the price.

At least $220 is remotely close to $300. You are lucky they aren't offering $50.

Hagglers get added to the block list. Anything I post was already well-researched and priced to be competitive, a more than fair deal. Frick outta here with wasting my time and trying to rip me off while you're at it.

My local market is completely fricked for gamecube
    >Console in good shape: $90-$140
    >Shovelware or Licensed games: $40
    >First party games: $140
Why would anyone get a gamecube when a Wii can do most of the same except GB Player

    lowballing buyer here.
I assume you raised the price to factor in hagglers.
also I post a sob story to make the seller feel bad.
I will pay full price if the prices are more than 50% cheaper than ebay prices.

Hey c**t, I would put the price lower than all other examples in the State, and still get lying bastards like you haggling for rock-bottom, may as well give it away prices.

      Off yourself.

Get a job homosexual. Develop a talent, learn a trade, go to college, gain knowledge. People who just manipulate money for profit while offering nothing to the world are fricking leeches, worse than welfare loungers. Merchants are scum, one step below stock market traders.

I think everyone on Marketplace is an npc with no brain - all my interactions on there are with people who can't read and try and trade me for my games with Pokemon cards that are bent or for consoles that don't work.

I fricking hate sellers on ebay with "accepts offers" listings who won't fricking haggle on single unit items. I try to get 20% off, then 15, then 10% as my final offer. If you won't even give me 10% off then you're not accepting offers are you. $20 off a $1000 item is not a fricking offer.

I googled it to see why ebay sellers do this and I came across a reddit thread where a bunch of gays were complaining about lowballing buyers. One guy complained that buyers are not happy unless they're getting a deal. Yeah no shit I want a deal, it's fricking ebay. The whole reason I go to a site like that is I want to get a good deal and pay less than retail. I don't give a shit that you're using it as the official store front for your shitty business and looking to charge retail prices.

Honestly frick sellers. You don't get to complain just because making money off other people isn't as easy as you'd have hoped. Well I guess it's up to you if you want to complain, but ain't nobody gonna hear it.

sounds like you should've set the starting price at $300, and then you could've accepted that person's $30 off offer without haggling and come out $20 ahead

I don't get haggling. Did a garage sale recently to clean my dad's shed and people would spend an hour arguing about the price of a $1 hammer
