Not really. It's a Diablo clone but it goes on for WAY too fucking long and it's not fun or varied enough to warrant it. The good news is that there is a pretty massive enemy variety, I think only Tau and Necron are not represented. I got it on sale and I don't feel ripped off but at the same time I really didn't feel like I bought something valuable even at the reduced price.
Its okay, but its just a shittier Diablo clone.
Some sections, like navigating a knight is fun and doing crusades, but once you hit the bullet sponge enemies it gets boring quick
It's OK but their servers suck balls and I have lost progress too many times to count to bother playing anymore. It's especially bad if you do crusades which is some multi map shit that can easily last longer than an hour, and if their servers decide to act up during the last map you will end up leaving the whole thing with absolutely NOTHING
Fuck those hungariggers
How is Gladius? The hex grid map reminds me of Rites of War, the old Eldar game, is it like that?
It's okay, like most 40k games you really only get it because you want something but with a 40k coat of paint, in this case a Diablo-clone but with bolters and shit. There's a section in the story where you pilot a knight which should be cool but ends up being the worst part of the game.
I personally enjoyed it but if you get it on steam I'd suggest using creamapi to unlock the dlc because while as Sister of Battlefag I found the class enjoyable fuck paying $15 for it.
But she's not right. Big E was just biding his time before he told everyone what chaos was, but he was right not to just yet because just knowing about it makes you susceptible to it. Ignorance is the best protection from the ruinous powers.
How important are the dlc's? I'm glad I got the game for free but when I look the games bundle to get the complete edition and more than hundreds of dollars for additional content.
Hate to see its more than hundreds of dollars for additional content.*
Also a bit of an offtopic, but why is Darktide only on a 30% sale, kind of disappointed.
Personally I think mods are more important.
A steam reviewer said his recommend mods if you scroll down on the reviews; Gladius plus, Neutral (something), and some 3rd one that adds more layers
>check out the store page >80 bucks worth of DLC >boot up the game >select Necrons >no campaign >ok whatever >boot into the game >ugly as fuck interface, have to increase the hud size to 125% so it even somewhat fills my screen >now the font is all blurry >click on one of my units >no voice lines
Immediate ALTF4.
It is kind of sad that Dawn of War 1 is still one of the best 40k games, but many of them aren't too bad tbh. I really enjoyed Mechanicus and I'm really looking forward to Rogue Trader (CRPG).
>I'm really looking forward to Rogue Trader (CRPG).
anon... is poozed trash.
DoW1 is still the best and only real warhammer game. no nu-hammer game from now on will surpass it
Finally maybe someone will talk about this game. I've been playing for a year now and it never gets mentioned in warhammer threads or when people ask for a hood warhammer game. Always forgotten despite being a good civ clone and not having any real major issues.
>having to choose between a stat boost or one of the best laughs in the game
Chaos space marines getting shackled with those garbage aspiring champions is still a crime.
>Am I the only one who wants normal wh40k tabletop as actual video game?
Of course not, but there's always tabletop simulator. >Would GW ever allow it?
Of course not, they're a miniature company after all, literally everything else is designed to get you to buy the minis. Why not buy some anon? It'll only cost half your bank account and your eternal soul?
>How is Gladius?
Honestly just Civ5 but worse, can't really think of anything that stands out about it other than 40k skin
So I'm right, 40k games are just "X-with bolters" then.
>Dawn of War 1 and 2 are top tier games
I agree wholeheartedly, DoW1 was what got me into 40k in general with Soulstorm getting me into SoB.
I will never find it amusing WHFB got great games that got tons of people interested in the fluff only to learn GW blew the whole thing up so they could sell Space Marines but fantasy. It was even funnier seeing it happen instore.
She could have done NOTHING and ended up beloved but went traitor and fucked everything up. Fuck Erebus and FUCK Logar
She could've just done her fucking job and brought worlds into compliance rather than wasting time trying to convince everyone that the Emperor was a god and building monuments to him. The exact opposite thing he said should be done and the exact opposite thing the proto-Word Bearers were doing prior to Lorgar being found. The dumb cunt.
Thanks bro.

Is Inquisitor any good?
Not really. It's a Diablo clone but it goes on for WAY too fucking long and it's not fun or varied enough to warrant it. Martyr?
It was alright on PS4 (last time I played it), I did enjoy the story.
I'd give it a 7/10, but I think it's always online tho

sweet
Damn, I bought this game months ago and never played it
Logar is not CUTE
Logar is SHIT
If only the Emperor had accepted her love...
SHIT primarch who should just stay in her demon room CRYING because she fucked up and went TRAITOR
Why does everyone hate her and bully her for being right?
But she's not right. Big E was just biding his time before he told everyone what chaos was, but he was right not to just yet because just knowing about it makes you susceptible to it. Ignorance is the best protection from the ruinous powers.

Still looks like shit, literally can't get over it.

>4x strategy games
dear god, why? why can't we get actually good genres for 40k gsmes?
It is kind of sad that Dawn of War 1 is still one of the best 40k games, but many of them aren't too bad tbh. I really enjoyed Mechanicus and I'm really looking forward to Rogue Trader (CRPG).

DoW1 is still the best and only real warhammer game. no nu-hammer game from now on will surpass it
We did with Boltgun, but u didn't buy it anon.
If you did you'd know it references Space Marines characters (Titus and Inquisitor) but you didnt
have fun buying hundreds of dollars of dlc to have any cool units.
Finally maybe someone will talk about this game. I've been playing for a year now and it never gets mentioned in warhammer threads or when people ask for a hood warhammer game. Always forgotten despite being a good civ clone and not having any real major issues.
Any strategies? I just got it and have no idea what I'm doing
What race? Just keep pumping infantry out. I've won with necrons and tau. Gonna start a guard game when I get off work.
I'm starting Astartes the Militarum.
Idk what I'm doing
not as good as warhammer 40k dawn of war, zoomie

DLCs look like they just add more factions and units.
Are none of them "essential" as far as adding new mechanics or game-play?
No, but mods are essential.
Gladius+
Neutral pack (neutral enemies)
Locknots expansion (adds more tweaks)
I'm still in the tutorial. Kinda getting my ass handed to me.
I'm hoping none of those mods require DLC?
Of course not, I'm going to play without it first to get a feel
Warhammer is for retards. Every single warhammer game is "popular thing but super shitty with cringe warhammer slapped on it."
Am I the only one who wants normal wh40k tabletop as actual video game? Would GW ever allow it?

Dawn of War 1 and 2 are top tier games and WHF has some bangers if that counts
