3 hours long, bad boss fights, tons of backtracking, no difficulty, 1 new enemy type in the entire game that you only see three times max, illusionary choice system that barely does anything
One of the most common complaints about CV is its difficulty, its easily the hardest game in the series aside from the original US release of 1, and the only game in the entire series where you can actually completely frick yourself over and put yourself in an unwinnable state. you literally don't know anything about the game.
Both played for the first time without a guide re1 took me 7h40 while re3 took me 7h29 and wtf tons of backtracking, are you gonna act like cv doesnt have ton.
kek still bitter since the 90s? 3 is an awesome game, and I prefer it to 2. Nemesis was very fun to encounter. Didnt need more enemies and exploring the city was incredible. What a terrific game.
>3 hours long
same as 1 and 2 >bad boss fights
same as 1 and 2 >no difficulty
same as 1 and 2, it's more difficult if anything >1 new enemy type
important why? >illusionary choice system that barely does anything
I'm sorry you were too stupid to understand that you could get drops from Nemesis.
> CV is the closet to the original RE1 in the entire series
Yeah, I remember how in 1 you could double wield and when cutscenes were about outrunning a helicopter and then doing backflip in slowmo to kill 50 armed guys in 1 shot.
Beginning of the end for sure, even though it was an okay game in play.
It's where the seriously goofy plot elements and the Wesker/Chris wank that the series suffered from started. Even the innocuous supporting cast, an effeminate boy in a collar that they linger a cutscene of Claire stepping on for a suspiciously long moment, should clue you in that the direction was more about what a writer should have spent into kleenex than writing something good, and that's before getting into what else the Ashfords indicated about that.
Code Veronica was a huge step down in quality from 1-3.
every mainline RE game until 5 was good, most were great.
No it wasn't stop spamming the same stupid posts every thread when you never have an argument as to why
If you repeat something often enough it becomes the truth.
>3
>quality
nah
I will never understand the hate for 3.
It's great. They should have done more classic RE styled games with realtime environments.
fite me
CV and great don't belong in the same sentence. It's alright, but it's not a must play either.
It marked the shift away from horror towards action in RE titles
CV isn't a good game
its got more horror and about the same action than 3
that was 2. CV is the closet to the original RE1 in the entire series

Like every good game in the series.
>bad boss fights, tons of backtracking, no difficulty
Literally describing Code Veronica.

That magazine spread would definitely not fly today.

The game is too problematic and transphobic
No one is trans in code veronica.
Let me guess, you are a crossdressing freak.
Last good RE game is 4. The perfect RE game. The best game.
Last good vanilla design RE is Outbreak.
