We can all agree Dead By Reddit is the worst horror game right?

We can all agree Dead By Reddit is the worst horror game right?
I haven't even played it myself, but from seeing others play it, it sounds absolutely fricking terrible.
First off it commits the cardinal sin of placing you in a forced team. It's not an assigned class or anything, it's a forced team you need to work with. You can't just leave them behind to survive or anything. You're stuck with them.
Next it has a bunch of unwritten community rules for everyone for some dumb fricking reason I can only assume, because it has a large female player base.
You can't stab someone more than once at a time, or follow and target someone.
You can't avidly try avoiding killers or over use flashlights or whatever.
If you try going in to give it your all, you're considered toxic.
It doesn't help that it's contradicting itself with what the devs do. But from what I have seen there isn't anything of value to this game. I assume It's only successful for licencing horror ip's so normalgays only like it for that, I hope at least.
But for anyone else with a iq over 90, just watching it 2nd hand should turn you off from ever playing it. It's the gayest horror game I have ever seen.

you can. Teamwork is encouraged but there is perks that let you do shit on your own.
    >unrwitten rules
if you think they make the game unfun frick the rules then.

all of this is why i've been dumping hours into it explicitly doing what the 'unwritten rules" say i cant. leafs cant make anything creative but cartoons. dbd is designed to infuriate, nothing more. my favorite thing survivor players do is supplement actual competitive games with this one to feel good about themselves then lose when i tell them "bro its hide and seek. theres no skill to it. lmao."

It's not a horror game, no one is shittin their britches watching or playing this game grandpa and 2 yes if you get all of the gens done and open the exit gate you can leave your tm8s to die

Na they call you a homosexual if you leave them on a hook and open the gate "early" (again not even sure how early escape is ever bad but according to them it is) because you're stuck with these gays. Like I said it still astounds me people play such a inherently shit game with equally shit community.

Only thing I hate is how unfun being a killer has become due to all the nerfs. Can't even grab people from jumping in the hatch anymore. I wish developers would try their hand at asymmetric horror instead of L4D rip-offs.

    Ok, I'll bite.
    >We can all agree Dead By Reddit is the worst horror game right?
It stops being horror after 10 hours in.
    >I haven't even played it myself, but from seeing others play it, it sounds absolutely fricking terrible.
Then why do you have an opinion about something you haven't played?
    >First off it commits the cardinal sin of placing you in a forced team. It's not an assigned class or anything, it's a forced team you need to work with. You can't just leave them behind to survive or anything. You're stuck with them.
That's perfectly fine. Also you're wrong, you can easily do gens or play stealth the entire match and either genrush while your teammates are on hooks or camp the hatch and wait until everyone is dead.
    >Next it has a bunch of unwritten community rules for everyone for some dumb fricking reason I can only assume, because it has a large female player base.
Those only apply to killers, since survivors are indeed mostly all female players and homosexuals, thus they have several unwritten rules out of pure pettiness.
    >You can't stab someone more than once at a time, or follow and target someone.
Yes you can? Survivoids are usually salty about tunneling, but there is nothing that stops you from doing that, since it's not bannable and considered a legit strat.
    Scummy, but effective.
    >You can't avidly try avoiding killers or over use flashlights or whatever.
Yes you can, what? Flashlight blinds are one of the few things survivoids have against killeroids.

      >Scummy, but effective.
See this is the problem. Even you said it's "scummy."
In what fricking horror game is it scummy to try and kill a player like you're supposed to?
Fricking innately reddit game I swear.
      >Yes you can, what? Flashlight blinds are one of the few things survivoids have against killeroids.
You can't without people calling you toxic for trying to survive or save teammates.

Back when I played I heard tunneling was actually a bad idea because leaving the rest of the team unmolested basically gave them generators for free and made it hard to clean up late in the match.

I played wraith or phantom or whatever it was called and the most fun I ever had was ringing my bell ping-ponging between players like the world's angriest and stabby pop-up ad.

Are you trying to argue semantics?
Is it scummy exactly like using a noobtube in a FPS game or baserushing in a RTS.
It is a pretty cheap tactic that pays off unless the enemy player knows how to counter that, and in terms of tunneling running either BT, Mettle (lol), Unbreakable or rushing the hook all together (actual ash rank move).
        >You can't without people calling you toxic for trying to survive or save teammates.
        >people calling you toxic
        Who gives a shit?
Are you really that obsessed with what other people might think of you?
Makes sense, considering you boldly made this thread to vomit your poor opinion.
Asking for external validation, are we?

Noob tube was always a non complaint by people lacking skill.

not to mention there is no chat in game. When I played I played survivor but I imagine it'd be fun to have those gotcha moments when you cheese people

    >If you try going in to give it your all, you're considered toxic.
Sweating is not considered toxic at all, it depends entirely on your build and how hard you're trying to accomplish what the devs consider a "victory".
The problem is that there is no clear definition, getting a 4K as a killer is considered godtier play but the devs themselves consider getting a 1K a "win".
Likewise, survivors escaping is considered a win but if you get the hatch it's a draw.
There isn't a clear indicator of who is winning what; the emblem system is also terribly designed and not really helpful at all.
It mostly depends on your playstyle. I think it's fair to assume that breaching a certain tot of bloodpoints is considered a "win", regardless if you escape or kill everyone.
The game is poorly designed in this regard, there's only a few builds that are actually strong enough to get the desired outcome of a 4man escape or a 4K, and they're all terribly boring or unsatisfying to pull.
Metas exists for a reason, but until the actual "win condition" is spelled bright and clear, everyone is doing whatever they want all the time.
Still, there are no issues about sweating for particular goal inside the match.
    >It doesn't help that it's contradicting itself with what the devs do. But from what I have seen there isn't anything of value to this game. I assume It's only successful for licencing horror ip's so normalgays only like it for that, I hope at least.
Behaviour doesn't really consider their own game a competitive e-sports experience, they're dealing with a community obsessed with winning matches and being "good", which translates very poorly to a game designed as a casual party game.
    >But for anyone else with a iq over 90, just watching it 2nd hand should turn you off from ever playing it. It's the gayest horror game I have ever seen.
You really are seething about a game you don't even play.
May I suggest to let people enjoy things that you don't like?

Holy frick I forgot about the blatant casual bait points system that rewards you for playing instead of giving a definitive win or lose system based on only whether you live or die. Thank you for reminding me. Shit game.

I wouldn't call it a horror game, horror themed sure but it's not really scary. But I don't know why you'd be making such long winded posts about a game you never played anyway. My guess is that you probably watch a lot of dbd streamers and spew out their opinions from there and that's pretty bloody reddit to me, homosexual.

Friday the 13th was what I wish DBD was. Being able to fight back against the killer, as futile as it might be, makes such a big difference.
