Gallade could be like Hawkman in some early Palafin seasons, aka a regular pokemon being with no real superpowers (shoutout to him having virtually no ability in gens previous to gen 9), but being a good person at heart, having great combat skills, and also being a family man with a Mismagius wife and two kids (a Misdreavus girl and a Ralts boy).
He is absent through the first half of season 3 as he goes through a training arc after almost losing his life due to his apparent lack of superpowers, as a trainee to Sensei Annihilape in a faraway dojo. He comes back in the nick of time to save Palafin and friends after having honed his mind and body, and acquiring the Sharpness ability. He then stays as a recurring character (with slightly less screen time unless A Day In The Limelight episodes since his character arc is completed for now).

no, you start with a zero palafin, it needs to do the switching. it's why generally it's better to lead with palafin then use flip turn to switch it out

Malamar’s plans and methods are something she wants no part of and if interests align she will form a temporary truce.
This, I also like the idea of Meowscarada as a clearly more competent assistant to a silly Scovillain, like Shego from kim possible

Malamar never fights fairly or directly. He has henchmen the world over to do his dirty work. In the final showdown, malamar uses a device that rapidly lowers its stats triggering contrary over and over again. It’s close, but Palafin still comes out on top.

It's honestly quite incredible how positively creative and brilliant /vp/ can get. These threads have been a joy to the eye to read through. Keep up the good work lads.

Gallade could be like Hawkman in some early Palafin seasons, aka a regular pokemon being with no real superpowers (shoutout to him having virtually no ability in gens previous to gen 9), but being a good person at heart, having great combat skills, and also being a family man with a Mismagius wife and two kids (a Misdreavus girl and a Ralts boy).
He is absent through the first half of season 3 as he goes through a training arc after almost losing his life due to his apparent lack of superpowers, as a trainee to Sensei Annihilape in a faraway dojo. He comes back in the nick of time to save Palafin and friends after having honed his mind and body, and acquiring the Sharpness ability. He then stays as a recurring character (with slightly less screen time unless A Day In The Limelight episodes since his character arc is completed for now).
I would watch the frick out of a show where starmie doesn’t speak, but just flies around making starmie noises and saving people

"Canon" Mewtwo would be mid. While a lot of other media gives him some sort of motivation and deeper backstory; Game Mewtwo is just a "Ultimate Weapon" type deal where he just tries to destroy whats in front of him.
A lot of side media elevates him to high, but those versions don't really line up with whats presented ingame.

Palafin will probably be at least UU since not only are his stats good, but he's fast and has a big movepool. Wishiwashi had 40 speed, a bad movepool, and lost his big stats when he hit 25%

Entity Deoxys is working for: (Crisis level villain)
>Yveltal: Considered the bringer of death. Initially a neutral being. Yveltal is on a galaxy wide quest, spanning several centuries to revive his long lost partner, Xerneas. Who is a cocoon and needs tons of sacrifices to resurrect. He spares Deoxys' home world, recognizes and respects his power, so he instead contracts Deoxys to conquer plants so Yveltal can sacrifice its population to bring back Xerneas. So far he's having no luck. Yveltal will stop at nothing to bring back Xerneas.
Deoxys eventually relinquishes his contract with Yveltal, and helps the heroes bring him down. Yveltal never gets the opportunity to see his partner again.
