You are in for Dark Souls where you will start over 10 times until you realize that it's better to avoid any and all risks if you want to progress even a bit.
Also the endgame ("win" condition) is moronic as hell and you are better looking it up in wiki than doing it yourself.
If you're the type of person who looks up things, it shouldn't be too bad. If you like playing blind, its kind of rough.
Not OP, but how difficult it is beating the game blind?
And does RNG plays a role how good your run will be?
Unfortunately this kind of depends on what you're defining as "beating the game"
The official "Adventure Mode Campaign" even by Klei's admission generally needs a guide and features a level deliberately made to kill you if you didn't know to bring equipment in.
As for the regular method for "winning" it's not TOO bad, but you'll probably need to look some stuff up to actually be ready, especially if you did a big worldgen.
Seconding this. And really the rest of the other anons. It's hard as frick and you WILL die and reset if you don't look up guides. Blind, you'll figure things out one at a time, die, then redo everything back up until that point. All the while you're trying to survive in a world with ever dwindling resources.
It's a great game 8.7/10. Art style and world building is kino.

What's moronic about Toejam and Earl but one level and instakill night and hunger mechanics? other than the obvious that the hazardous night is a shit gameplay cycle, and hunger does nothing
I love Don't Starve but it has some really moronic parts about it: >No gear progression at all, log armor and tentacle spike can be had day 1 and is pretty much all you need for the rest of the game. >The night is just doing nothing and wasting time.
It's not even that hard once you understand how to use crockpots, which makes most of the game, especially the "Don't Starve" part trivial
look up drying racks and crockpot recipes
keep a log suit and a pig helmet 24/7, always wear the helmet unless its some safe area you already been to and you want weather protection/sanity
cooked green shrooms give sanity but drain hp
raw blue shrooms heal but tank sanity, double as bargain bin green shrooms when cooked
spend the babymode season exploring so you know where shit is when you need it
jerky, meatballs, shrooms and armor should prevent a lot of the early deaths and help focus on surviving bosses and butthole seasons
Death. So much death. Dont be afraid to look up shit.

>t. 100 hrs single player, 500+ multi-player.
homie you have a better chance of beating Minecraft completely blind than Don't Starve
Endless grind without purpose
This. It’s not fun, you can’t get “ahead” and will realize this only after wasting 4 or 5 runs hoping something will click next time. It won’t.

The concept that you lose, basically, all that you have build and have to start anew... 5 times.

more fun with friends.
He posted don't starve 1, not don't starve 2

Only moronic canadians like this game
The time honored canadian leisure activity of going out in the woods freezing and starving to death
look up drying racks and crockpot recipes

You'll get raped by deerclops, get your base destroyed, be unable to fix it cuz it's winter and leave the game, never to return again.
You can just facetank him with log armor.
DS > DST
wiki game
wortox mains raise up
The unistall manager
watch a speedrun of the game, you have to play like that to do any sort of progress and after watching it you don't need to buy the game.
This game is not comfy at all even if you use guides.
Wilson a cute
How do I kill the monkes on moonquay without being wendy or maxwell? Those guys are annoying as hell to deal with
So I'm watching those vids Klei is uploading, that show a sort of storyline taking shape. Is anything going to come from that?
