what are some good games like animal crossing? i really like the customization and immersion side to the earlier games that wasnt really quite captured in NH.

You are a good artist.
How?!
You said that you made that quickly in MS Paint. That's impressive to me. I wish I could do that.
truthfully anon i made it in this program called mspaint, but rest assured, attached is another equally quick and equally shitty isabelle
Give yourself a bit more credit. The average person couldn't draw anything close to that that quickly.
IN CLIP STUDIO PAINT FUCK IM HIGH
have a nice day
well thanks anon, i mean, you can see the thread timestamps to see how long it took me to take to draw this one. i nearly posted it before i thought Isabelle needed a chair (back support)
die niggaswede
Do you post your art anywhere?
Ganker, otherwise, nowhere kosher and i might as well leave it at that. there's no real audience for low quality sfw doodles
Any tips for getting into drawing? Other than a drawing tablet.
Loomis, figure study and just focus on construction, do this for years. Draw whatever you like, but do this forever. Try not to get disillusioned that there is what equates to an army of people better than you, and the pain of seeing ones that are numerically superior be significantly younger
Years? How long have you been doing this?
i got seriously invested in 2017, and really studied a lot, and now everythings kinda lulled out i am in such a depressing state that ican barely draw
I see. Learning to draw is pretty low on my priority list right now, but I'd like to learn it once I'm more confident in my 3D skills.
>Try not to get disillusioned that there is what equates to an army of people better than you, and the pain of seeing ones that are numerically superior be significantly younger
This is the actually hard part, yeah.
Thank you for your advice.
actual work of mine looks like this. I hve a furry porn blog called "mysticeso" but its mostly fetishwork.
Oh, right, I've already talked to you. You are that macrofag that drew Sybil in August and then trooned out.
aye, thats me
There's not really a whole lot of Animal Crossing copycats. I've seen plenty of games that take some elements from it, but I haven't seen any trying to copy it's core concept. The Sims and online chatroom games like Habbo Hotel are the closest I can think of.
>The sims
is the newest one any good?
>POOLS CLOSED
ah, not really what im too interested in, i like singleplayer stuff
thanks anon
I only played The Sims 1 and 2, but it's an EA published series and the general opinions I see are about how much the sequels are watered down garbage in comparison to the game before it. I know it has lots and lots of paid DLC packs which give you only a single new furniture item.
rest assured i would be pirating it anyway
shill thread
There's also farming sims like Harvest Moon, Rune Factory, and Stardew Valley. They don't have much for customization options but the villager interaction is there and a bit more robust than Animal Crossing (most of the time).
stardew valley just didnt click for me, im actually waiting for cities skylines 2 to become more playable to be honest
It might sound like an odd recommendation, but maybe you'd like Dwarf Fortress. It combines the concept of city building with the life sim elements of The Sims. All your dwarfs have individual wants, needs, and aspirations. They have unique personalities which can change over time as they watch events unfold around them, such as becoming more worldly after witnessing a death or more easygoing after having a child. Though do be warned the game is a bit of complicated mess and it's sometimes hard to tell if you're doing something wrong of if the game logic just broke.
this might sound insane, but the lack of cuteness of dwarf fortress is unappealing, but i think i will take another gander at it. I couldnt get into it at all without a UI and havent tried the steam version
>the lack of cuteness of dwarf fortress is unappealing
Are you one of those "people" who need every character to be an anime girl to enjoy a game?
no, just not Rogue graphics and about dwarves, i dont know, its clunky as fuck too, the possibilities within the game intrigue me until i realize getting there is almost as much effort as writing my own damn novel
ill give it a whirl i think
It's a bit more accessible for newbies with the new UI, though it has some problems the old one didn't. If you didn't play the old version much you won't notice those problems though. You might find it a bit easier to empathize with your dwarfs thanks to the graphical tileset too.
i was really high when i posted that. but yeah, im still ashamed of it, it makes me draw less.
