eggplant is good and i'm tired of pretending it's not.
Italian Parmigiana and Caponata are really good, and Japanese fried eggplant is also delicious
only dumb Americans get filtered because because it's a vegetable
It's excellent for Gemiste; hollow it out, salt and butter the interior, and then stuff the innards with risotto, chili, and if I'm feeling like a fatass; top it with cheddar cheese in the last 30 or so minutes of baking.
I'm a Burgerclap which is why my recipe may cause butthurt in your Greeks out there.
>unironically eating vegetables
nu-male or europoor?
bro literally is eating fries with ketchup and complains about veggies
but its a fruit
My only issue with it is that it spoils quickly, makes buying it a pain since I have to cook it immediately
Hate those fuckers since Kid Icarus.
Dark souls 2
Dead space 3
>Dead space 3
This one is fairly hated. After playing DS1 and DS2 I was shocked how shit it is.
very american post.
The only game I feel legitimately gets undue hate and derision. People mock it for being "Dynasty Warriors" when it's in fact one of the ludicrously rare Action-RTS titles that has both a good active combat system and functional RTS components. It's far richer and more deep than it was given credit for, but the torrent of gays who played it early on didn't even give it a mild chance.
It's traditionally called Eggplant here but I like the bong name Aubergine, sounds fancier.
Zucchini is a better name than Courgette but. I can't hear the word courgette without a faint voice in my the back of my brain going
>little red courgette
i prefer "eggplant" because it's easier to spell than "aubergiene"(which is probably french btw)
You guys know how to make atleast a ratatouille?
yea you need a rat
Even if bait it hurts
never eaten french food in my life
I'm pretty sure you did
>inb4 angry belgians
It's not that hard to Cook some potatoes and brocoli in a oiled pan guys...
its shit. a lot of effort to make something that looks really good but has no fuckin flavor. would rather eat everything raw then go through all the effort or better yet, make something better like beef bourguignon
Ok no Fuck you
Ratatouille is a sugary dish who go well with a nice piece of meat
It's really good, just don't make the Disney meme version
>It's really good, just don't make the Disney meme version
alright, ill look up a few other recipes for it and give it another go, but if its shit ill be sure to let you know
I sadly don't have pics of ratatouille in my pan
But i basically Cook my Pepper in my furnace with water under it to make it soft while cooking
I remove the skin who turned black and cut it pieces
Then i mix it in my pan where i've already cooked onion and other veggies in oil
>a lot of effort to make
its just paprika slices, zero effort
you really think cook the same way at home as in a restaurant?
Ratatouille is fantastic if you remove everything but the yellow squash.
Best eggplant dish is that Greek casserole
Forgot what it's called
I fucking hate Americans so goddamn much
is that a fat burger throwing up after eating broccoli?
she's a brit and it's a brussel sprout
>she's a brit
>potatos and ham
do americans really?
Well at least she realized she's ill
im fucking fat and i'd gladly eat a plate of these with some salt n pepper
he shouldnt have started her off with a brussel sprout, a lot of people dont like them. should have tried carrots, parsnips, other tubers instead.
no, carrots, radish, cabbage and cucumber were the top 4 ingredients i hated the most when i was a kid
lettuce is the safest bet
Lettuce is bland and adds no flavor
>Lettuce is bland
exactly. it doesn't smell of sulfur like cabbage or broccoli
That's the point, it's straight up crunchy water so there's minimal flavor to be shocked by
Yeah maybe or cauliflower/broccoli with a nice sauce
Personally love vegetables but cooked kohlrabi makes me throw up, can't control it
Tfw picky eater but broccoli is one of my favorite vegetables
>Tfw picky eater but broccoli is one of my favorite vegetables
r u sure? you don't seem very picky to me
I don't like tomatoes, pickles or turnips
>sprinkling nasty string-like cheese on flat and shit looking potatoes
>forks it down like a fatass
I hate fat people
i'm vegetarian and i have to agree, the smell and taste of brussel sprouts is disgusting
lol this bro got filtered by meat and fish
>vegetarian has no sense of taste
no surprise there
nothing like a plate full of well seasoned brussels sprouts with bacon
eating meat is a weakness, imagine harming something just so your food, which is only meant to keep you alive anyways, tastes better. useless luxury
Hitler also routinely farted and shat his pants so lol
>austrian manlet cuck is a vegan
colour me surprised
Brussel sprouts are delicious and I’m tired of denying it
It's fucking aubergene
I like eggplant
Baked eggplant is tasty
Paper Mario Color Splash and Origami King
most of the hate they get is absolutely fair
>LOL AMERICANS THINK PIZZA IS A VEGTABLE!!! XD
because literally 80 percent of pizza is fucking tomatoe puree? Yes. It makes sense. On top of that most pizzas have other vegetables as toppings such as olives, spinach, mushrooms and pepperoni so yeah it makes sense you retarded semen slurpers. If you melted some cheese on brocoli does that mean it's not a veggie anymore?
Lol americans are insane
pepperoni doesn't even mean sausage in italian. it means paprika.
do Americans really?
>because literally 80 percent of pizza is fucking tomatoe puree?
what the fuck type of pizza you eating thats 80% tomato paste? that aint pizza, it aint even spaghetti at that point, its just v8 with a side of bread
Reminds me of this pitzer place I went to where the pizza was like Chicago-style, where it is inches tall, but instead of being filled with cheese it was almost entirely sauce, like biting into a can of gelatinous tomato puree spilled out into pie crust. Easily one of the worst, most disgusting pitzers I've had, the only competitor being gluten free "pizza" (with the taste and consistency of vomit).
Shadow of War. It's because journos like TotalAssCancer and chud Sterling spread fake news about it and their chud parrot followers blindly believed them.
Meh I played it, massive filesize of over 100gb gameplay is basically hit, hit, hit, dodge, hit, hit, hit, dodge until all enemies are dead. Didn't even finish the first area because its so boring.
That's fair, but did the game seem "pay2win" to you? Cause that's what journos portrayed it as.
Not really but I never reached that part so I really don't know.
It's a fun game but it's basically just a copypaste of Shadow of Mordor that goes on for too long.
Monolith keeps hitting it out of the park with almost every game they ever make in their entire lives, but when WB asks them to just make the same game again it loses its luster.
Second game also takes too long to become fun.
I’m pretty sure the main reason it got shit on was the ridiculous micro transactions at launch, they literally had Orc lootboxes
Super Smash Bros. Melee
since americans complain about how we unfairly judge american food after eating only shirtt fastfood like McDonalds, i tried some "real" american food like cajun food and blackpipo soul food, they taste pretty good if done by a proper chef, problem is, i suffered from diarhea the next day so i'm never gonna touch that shit again
Dead or Alive Xtreme 3.
I honestly don't want to explain this one why it is unfairly hated.
Gamer fuel thread? Gamer fuel thread
The only vegetables I cook with are garlic and onions and chili and broccoli, and mushrooms I guess if you put them under the "vegetable" category.
Are there any legitimately good vegetables for stir fries and stuff like that that I'm missing out on? Eggplants are unwieldy and ridiculous, but I'm open to more realistic suggestions.
>Are there any legitimately good vegetables for stir fries and stuff
cabbage, mung bean sprouts and bokchoy(ching chong lettuce)
Why the FUCK would you put mushrooms under the vegetable category? It's literally a different kingdom.
chink or junglemoron-style stir fried vegetables are really, really good, but i'm not sure if you can make them at home.
