I swear guys,I played my first bomberman with Tournament and...I can't fking play a "normal bomberman" at all without getting bored...
I wish they did more game like that.
I kinda remember some sort of "same style" game that was jap only but I dunno if I'm just remembering wrong
I think there were three total. Bomberman Quest, Bomberman Tournament (Bomberman Story in Japan) and Bomberman Story DS. The last one was only released in Europe and Japan. Quest is really rare and Bomberman Tournament was the main one that sold well here. It took me about a year to find a copy of Bomberman Quest on ebay.
Bomberman 64: The Second Attack is the best bomberman game. Better than Bomberman 64 the way I see it. I loved that it built on 64's continuity which made it hurt when later games threw it out the window for the saturday morning cartoon cast.
Speaking of, Bomberman Generation aged incredibly well visually but the gameplay is very simplistic. Another faovirte of mine is Pocket Bomberman for the platformer gameplay over the top-down gameplay the series is known for. Tournament was a great RPG as well.
Man, too many Bomberman games were really good. We need a collection but Konami will never get off their asses and put one together.
What is the name of the Bomberman aesthetic style? Like, chibi robots in a semi-serious, mostly goofy setting?
Megaman and Mischief Makers I think also fall into this aesthetic.
I played the ones on GB, GBA, and GC.
They were all good. Used to hook up the GB game with the SNES GB player adapter and do multiplayer battles and that was awesome.
fpbp
The question I'm wondering about is which ones aren't approved?
This but the DS version is kino
The Bomberman Land games aren't really that fun.
Personally I think Saturn Bomberman and Bomberman 64 are the best Bomberman games
thank you!!
The Best:
Bomberman 94' - Turbografx-16
Super Bomberman 3 - SNES
Bomberman Gameboy 2 - Gameboy
Bomberman Tournament - GBA
Bomberman 64 - N64
Bomberman World - PS1
Bomberman Fantasy Race - PS1
Bomberman Onliine - Dreamcast
bomberman Generation - Gamecube
Me and my cousins played the hell out if bomberman 93 back in the day
I miss when we had the tg16 and tons of games to waste Saturdays on.
>no super bomberman 5
The amount of louie killed any interest i had. I came for bomberman not the louies
It's just one more than in Super 3.
Which is why I only enjoy super 1 and 2
every game has online in the title
>Bomberman Online
>Phantasy Star Online
>Family Guy Online
>Sword Art Online
debunk this: jackie chan
I love bomberman
Bomberman tournament was so fricking good. I think my bastard cousin stole it from me.
Bomberman Quest is in the same series with it as has a similar gameplay style if you ever get bored. Bomberman as a Zeldalike is amazing.
Sadly zeldalikes seem to have no future, considering even Zelda is not zeldalike anymore...
>"zeldalike"
it's not "like", Bomberman Quest pretty much wholesale ripped off Link's Awakening. Which is why it was so much fun lmao

I remember playing a bit of Bomberman story DS,but I was not that impressed by it,Tournamente was somehow still better in that regard
Yeah I think that's the one I was thinking, look pretty much like tournament
Bomberman Jetters GBA also used Tournament's engine and was never localized.
Out of all of those games, I only have second attack
Really loved the villain designs for 64 specially regulus and altair they looked cool.
>Inb4 someone calls me a coomer
BOMBER GIRL
How did they get away with it, bros?
Pocket Bomberman has no right to go that hard.
Even the Continue theme.
Bomberman Ultra was a great game. The. new games really lack content in comparison.
I like tournament. The Zelda mix hits just the right spot for me.
This game is fricking amazing
playing with fire 2
Personally I love the weird kind of spin offs like bonberman hero, pocket bomberman and bomberman fight! They are all pretty fun.
I have a soft spot for atomic bomberman.
MOOOOOOOOOOT
This game had the best single player of the entire series
Bomberman 64: The Second Attack is the best bomberman game. Better than Bomberman 64 the way I see it. I loved that it built on 64's continuity which made it hurt when later games threw it out the window for the saturday morning cartoon cast.

anons what is your best track from bomberman hero? for me its landlord
>from bomberman hero?
Quite specific,sadly I didn't even play it
But I'll return my favourite one from Tournament
Redial will always be my fave
Super Bomberman 4 (SNES)
Super Bomberman 5 (SNES)
Saturn Bomberman (Saturn)
The other ones are crap
What is the name of the Bomberman aesthetic style? Like, chibi robots in a semi-serious, mostly goofy setting?
Megaman and Mischief Makers I think also fall into this aesthetic.
Saturday morning cartoon esque maybe?
Perhaps
Kawaii style
That game is too sad and depressing please don't post it again
So far i've played Bomberman 1, 2, the first one on Turbografx-16, '93 and '94. What should i play next?
I played the ones on GB, GBA, and GC.
They were all good. Used to hook up the GB game with the SNES GB player adapter and do multiplayer battles and that was awesome.
