In most recent memory, the one game that gets shat on unfairly the most is definitely CP77.
It's by no means a great game, in fact it was fundamentally broken up till the 1.5 patch, it has a lot of serious problems and I entirely understand why people were really pissed off on release, but the problem is:
99% of all people shitting on it shit on it for the wrong reasons. Most of them clearly haven't even played it. The game may deserve a lot of criticism, but in reality the actually criticism it gets is wrong, bordering on nonsensical. The shit people complain about is made up, and the REAL problems it has are actually ignored. It's fascinating.
It's literally impossible to discuss the game here in any capacity. The sheer amount of bullshit that floods the thread whenever it's mentioned just kills any possibility to talk about what the game really is (for the better and the worse).

Daikatana, especially post fan patch. If KOTOR2, VTMB and to a lesser extent New Vegas are considered good games because patching, it counts too.
