Played it on my Switch, but I want to play it with better res and performance. The PC version isn't cracked yet, how's the Switch version on emulators?
Yeah, I can see that most likely being it.
For a free update I honestly think they'd be better off going back and polishing the final act of the game so the ending portion doesn't feel so thrown together.
It's more likely the opposite will happen. The big open fields obviously accommodate Tails and Knuckles gameplay (their Adventure versions anway) but focused linear boost stages? Doing those with different characters is alien territory that Sega doesn't want to deal with.
I'm betting it could take place at that point where Sonic gets blue screened (or red screened?) only to be "brought back by his friends" in literally the same cutscene. That moment was so inconsequential that I wondered why it was even there, if not an excuse to give the other three characters playable sequences but just didn't make it to release.
Ouranos is the best island and the game is at its best on Extreme mode. Not saying that as an excuse since you have to beat the game and get all S ranks in the Not-Bloody-Palace but its the truth
I haven't played since around the the time the game released, but I just remember Ouranos feeling kinda rushed in numerous spots.
If it was more consistent in quality I could see it being the best area in the game.
You might as well finish the game, for me the 2nd island was worst one it felt such a sludgefest getting through it but I kept going just to see how it ended and listen to more music bangers
I'm hoping for several anal scenes with Sage.
I stopped harboring "hope" for anything Sonic Team-related ten years ago. Worked out pretty well, honestly.
im hoping sage is playable.
No Shadow no buy.

>New Story
I'm afraid it's just a side quest during the events and not a continuation after the end of the game.

That's fine I just wanna be Knuckles. I hope they have cool bosses even if not on the same scale as the titans
The absolute worst case scenario is if the new characters are restricted only to Cyberspace levels and don't get to run around the overworld.

Sex with amy and sage
at the same time
>Knuckles' climbing lets him climb ANY overworld surface like Link does
>Knuckles' gliding functions like Link's paraglider
This is the ONE time they don't need to overhaul the level design to accommodate Knuckles' unique abilities so I really hope they get it right.
>Knuckles's climbing and gliding abilities are tied to stamina meters
I can see it perfectly.
It would make sense since Sonic has the meter for his Boost and Tails would presumably have one for his flight
Maybe for climbing, but it would be dumb for gliding, imo.
You've pretty much experienced the best the game has to offer.

I hate that shit, why do I have to beat the game to play it at a suitable difficulty? What's different in extreme mode?
I haven't played since around the the time the game released, but I just remember Ouranos feeling kinda rushed in numerous spots.

Is the comic tie-in worth reading?
What will you lose by reading it, ten minutes at most?
Not really no you'd walk out of Frontiers with the same experience as someone who read it. It's also like 2-4 pages or some shit
I quit after beating the 2nd island. Thoughts on the rest of the game?
You might as well finish the game, for me the 2nd island was worst one it felt such a sludgefest getting through it but I kept going just to see how it ended and listen to more music bangers
Why is the music so kino?
No idea. What would convince a muscician to put effort into the next 3D Sonic flop? NexTone Inc had faith.
Playable Sonichu.
