windforce, grandfather
Meanwhile, poor people are stuck with lightsabres.
are there any iconic weapons from Diablo 3 that weren't introduced in D1 or D2?
Pretty hard to make an iconic weapon when all the gear is literally +main stat, +dmg, +crit
Actually, they're more like +1000% to skill, +500% if hitting fewer than 3 targets.
I used to think The Furnace would be that. Looked cool, very strong effect, but I think it got lost in the power creep
I think that's the biggest issue for me with modern aRPG itemization that have such a high, open ended dmg and stat ceiling towards endgame. All the midrange items completely lose their value.
echoing fury
skorn and echoic fury
horadric burger and anyone who say otherwise wasnt playing on launch, after people found out how to edit stats of linked items the burger was being spanned with billions of attack on global chat every single day
Maximus is fucking neat and hilarious but never been the best or near it.
Echoing Fury is probably the most used and seen one as far as non-class specific legendaries go that werent in D2 or 1.
The Nicker >>> Memefury
Did someone say [Thunderfury, Blessed Blade of the Windseeker]?
all the old chase items from d2 are iconic
d3 is completely soulless and when you find something like cool from d2 like a grandfather it's underwhelming because it's the same as all the other weapons
d4 will be the same
BURIZADOKYANON
That's racist.
>Tal Rasha's mask
>cleglaw's gloves
>Buriza socketed with a nef rune
Yep, it's early 1.09 duelling time.
using buri with a nef rune or windforce with guided arrow created top tier seethe in duel games
King's Sword of Haste
Leaning towards the cleaver
God I hate that bland font. Why didn't they make the text look appropriate like in D2?
I dont mind it. D2 font though is a work of art.
I enjoyed reading item descriptions for legendaries and sets, it is a form of additional story telling without having to resort to the badly written books
if runewords count
Spirit Sword, Insight Polearm
otherwise
D1: King's Sword of Haste, Archangel's Staff of the Apocalypse
D1(&D2): Butcher's Cleaver, Windforce, Grandfather
D2 only: Titan's, Occulus, Reaper's Toll
I don't remember a single weapon from D3
cleaver is d1 only obviously
ah... oops
forgive me
forgive me
For me, it is the King's Sword of Haste.
Diablo 4 will have memorable items, right?
