it was pretty good but i quickly got bored when i reached the second area, everything became a chore and i couldn't turn off my brain and deliver shit with a podcast or song on the background anymore because i had to focus on mules and terrorists attacking me
Kill me, Pete.
Also, that's every game now. It's all a useless grind only punctuated by things that are interesting the first time they happen and then only serve as an annoying distraction that you don't really want to deal with.
Frick me I hate gaming. I need to start painting miniatures or grow a tumor or something.
could have been a fun 10 hour game, the gameplay loop is actually fun in the middle part of the game when you're getting lots of upgrade quickly and the story starts flowing but then you get the mountains and the game just slooooooooooooooows down again. No way this fricking thing should have been 40 hours.
Had fun, gameplay relatively original, combat sequences wouldn't have felt out of place in a AAA action game although playing on the hard difficulty it kind of felt tedious to fight the BT bosses which were just damage sponges, story was at least original even if it does slog a bit - personally I did not care for the explanation cutscenes that linked the Stranding to previous extinction events etc that start happening around ~Heartmans lab but I get why it was added, although I thought it could've been just done in the lore letters for people who give that many shits and must have meaningful explanations
I played it offline because I got it with the Christmas giveaway, I think playing it offline contributed to the atmosphere of the game and if I were online it would've really taken me out of the 'moment' when I passed some random structure - as it was I had fun slogging up and down the mountains to place my Ziplines and even zipped around the mountains delivering tons of shit for basically no reason other than the gameplay was engaging - a rare point in a 'movie game'
The story also had my wife interested enough to come watch every time a cutscene sequence was happening, she knew nothing of Kojima and now follows him on fb lel
Does the directors cut run worse than the original release? I got it in the egs for free but it kinda runs like crap but when I pirated the original it ran almost perfectly on my pc
nothing
kino
It's a very Kojima game
Isn't that the guy from walkind dead?
Biggest disappointment of the decade.
>over half of the budget went to paying the cast of Hollywood actos
ah yes, video games
Boring and confirmation that Kojima has always been using dev team and ghost writer for his shit.
boring as frick
Kino.
Interesting story and cool walking simulator. I actually liked being a postman in the ghost apocalypse.
27h in, kinda starts to get boring but I'm holding on.

That one autistic anon is getting slow with his pasta.
Screw you, man. I like to write here even if you're all bots.
what does memory for streaming do on the pc version?
One of the absolutely best games of the past decade and generation. Atmospheric, engaging, outright addicting video game.
Kojima can not write
>he didn't understand the metaphors
No shame in it but, damn. Read a book some time.
i think anyone can understand the metaphors with how much they smack you over the head, bravo Kojima master of subtlety
is it better with a controller?
Nothing is better with a controller, the most ironically named peripheral in gaming.
