you can't cover up the sun with a finger anymore, if you bomb the shit of a middle east country for oil, everyone will know it, it will be on social media anywhere. but, you can say this country was sponsoring terrorist cells all over the glove, so the people that lives in that country are not human beings and they deserve what's coming for them.

This is basically the real life word for it yeah
Most Americans are too stupid to see it happening all around them. Mostly in regards to China. Many are frothing at the chance to get into a world-destroying war because consent has been manufactured for it.

Wrong, most people are tired of war bullshit. It doesn’t matter who or what we vote for, politicians on both sides refuse to support this crumbling country and continue to give fat contracts to the military sector to send weapons/bullets/development etc to countries nobody here gives a frick about

I wouldn’t even care about that shit if wr just had an infrastructure to support Americans FIRST, then do all the money grubbing after that shit is sorted

Doesn’t matter. Releasing all of your Pokémon is still disarming yourself, which is explicitly what Ghetsis wants.

They want to create situations that will make people behave how they want, but do so out of their own choice instead of forcing them at gunpoint since it's much more sustainable.
They want Brave New World instead of 1984.

That comes later when science advances. Then parents with money will create customized children. How much can external influences affect them? The social advantages can and will drive decisions. Even more compelling is the possibility of raising an army of people from your own loins.

They're talking about crafting narratives around the information that is out there so that people interpret and react to the information in the way they want them to.
This is why the phenomenon of droves of people CARING ABOUT CURRENT THING happens.

You should disregard all polling. Polling reports are all fabricated garbage meant to seed a conversation and a point of view in the populace.
Nobody stops to think that they weren't asked to participate in that poll and nobody asks to see who did. But they'll still go along with it, either genuinely adopting the popular opinion out of social instinct to belong OR simply playing at agreeing with that popular opinion so as to not get socially outcast which is basically the same as agreeing with it.

MGS2 was basically laying out how the powerful will seize upon the information age to control the masses and keep growing their own power.
The problem is that it came out YEARS before any of the big social media take offs so nobody really knew what in the frick it was talking about. It was just
    >ha ha what a wacky game about high tech military and government conspiracies. So crazy!

      >The problem is that it came out YEARS before any of the big social media take offs so nobody really knew what in the frick it was talking about.
MGS2 came out way too late for that. In just video games, Deus Ex already covered it in way more depth before MGS2. The potential for the manipulation of the technology of the information age is not that much of a step up from manipulation of television and radio programs for the decades before, the only thing the internet added is allowing citizens to directly ree at each other instead of subtly reeing at each other at family dinners and workplaces.

        >the only thing the internet added is allowing citizens to directly ree at each other instead of subtly reeing at each other at family dinners and workplaces.
You're missing the interactivity of it all which is what MGS2 was pointing out. People just putting all that information out there on their own and other people interacting with that information without the context the powers that be would want.
A TV or radio show is not an interactive medium in any real sense and the information stream is very small in comparison as its only a few sources that can push this stream.
The internet allows anybody with a connection to push information in their own way.

It's not quite like reeing at your family and coworkers over a slightly different feeling over the tv or radio program that you all saw. It is actively being a participant in disseminating the information for others to digest, repeat, or spin.

It really is kind of crazy.

          > It is actively being a participant in disseminating the information for others to digest, repeat, or spin.
And this is the trick: people believed themselves a part of the conversation regardless of the technology of the age. Why is it that people march in ideological lockstep despite that they also believe they're listening to the ideas of a large crowd? People have 1000 TV channels and infinite internet content, yet they all neatly fall in an ideological line. They are not participants at all. The Patriots merely did to the internet what they had already done to other forms of media. It was not a new solution. It was not a novel idea of MGS2.

          Anonymous

exactly. Just think of whatever topic is trending on Twitter. People distribute and actively manufacture information to shape the context into whatever conversation they want. It could be completely unrelated to or opposite to whatever the original extent is.

We want world executive honor. Executives live long lives, even with world robot artificial intelligence. We want to do what anyone else did.
We add our own information. We add what we believe. Everyone else adds. Some small, some large, and every counts in robot artificial intelligence dominate world. Information are not in a vacuum. Ours, and yours, will have to be enough. So far as you have your story, and I told my story, then we have fair struggle.
Warriors, soldiers, marines, mercenaries, and bosses are dictionary defined. Dictionaries are just one artifact in debates. We debate to prove fair struggle. Called debate are synonymous to called community. Called communities are evidence for non-executives. We fair struggle for non-executive's mercy, forgiveness, and other inclusion into common life. If we live common life then we are public enough to receive our history from greater struggling community. If we receive our history then we live our history. If we live our history then we live to tell our story. Your stories, and our stories too, are context. Context means fair struggle. We forgive ourselves. We move on with our lives. We even enjoy normal lives.
We are justified fighters, though world may robot artificial intelligence overwhelming all struggle. We were in history, and our personalities are currently today. We live long lives. We can tell you how the world used to be. If we tell you our story then we rank order everyone. We are comparable. You even react in proximity to us.
We are all natural. We reinvent metal gear. Terrorists seize metal gear. Our executive infiltrates for metal gear. You know enough to fight or flight.

Why are you here? Execute your mission? I want to trust you, but why are you here?
I can help you understand your trustworthiness. Only the executive in the field may truly understand the situation. We need a planned, predicted, and expected executive. No surprise here. Let the world let be the world.
If you let the world let be the world then do you let the world be? If not then you must change. We need an executive standing alone. The executive and the world are same. We can't assume our executive stands together with anyone. Our executive may be the only executive in the field. We need our executive able to execute alone and solo. Whatever happens? Complete mission. If you believe in yourself then maybe we trust you. If we trust you then we allow you to accept your mission.
Revolt. Question your public governments lead through recent time slips.
Time slips are caused by mass public government employees using previously used dates on legal document signature fields like previously used dates are current date. Again, there is a current date, but a previously used date is used on legal document signature fields. A public government employee walks into work, looks at cell phone, news paper, and television. The public government employee sees wrong date. Anyone looking at mainstream newspapers, nationally broadcasted television, or syncronized cell phones? You see a wrong date. Mass public government employees use wrong date on the legal document date field.
Public governments can address liability. Three options. Public government stop relying so crucially to private companies for calendar keeping, and public government compensate victim loss. Stop time slips, and redress grievances. Second? Public government stop collecting taxes, and public government stop spending taxes. Cede opportunities to private companies. Third? Public government employees quit public government jobs, and public government employees forfeit public government job pay. Dissolve government.
