I've only ever done a platinum run in bayo 1, any time I think about trying to go back and pure plat the levels I missed I end up wanting to fucking kill myself with how retarded some of the enemies get on hard and how the checkpoint and autosave system in bayo 1 hates you
I had problems with the ghosts in Silent Hill 4. Something about "invulnerable" enemies who could clip through walls freaks me out. I think it's related to a dream I had as a kid where a werewolf was chasing me down this corridor and I kept hitting these switches to close these giant iron gates to slow it down when the werewolf started clipping/lagging through the gates I was using. My brain said "fuck that" and woke me up.
It's the "worst" of the first four games but I have a soft spot for it designwise. Never beat it though, I should considering how much of it I do actually like.
The redesign was awful, they look like they're made out of rubber now. Original Regeneradors were unironically more unsettling, even if they weren't as threatening.
i mean thats just what necrotic skin actually looks like when it's not connected to bones/muscles anymore and is just sloughing off. it looks like a skeleton wearing a rubber skin suit.
i was dreading having to deal with them when i played Alyx, but honestly they didn't have the same effect even in VR. I think maybe its how they had to slow down the movements/animations for VR balancing, and the level design making them easier to keep track of in any given room
poison headcrabs are the cutest ones imo, I like the sounds they make they're really funny. Plus the fact that they actually run and hide from you after taking damage just makes me feel bad for killing them.
I don't rage at games but Diablo 4 got on my nerves because I'm underpowered and there's nothing I can do to kill bosses because of how bad the barbarian is. It's not like dark souls where you can dodge all day, no
Probably the ones with shitty AI.
Grace and Glory are bad enough but these fuckers are infuriating. I'm pretty sure you have to be autistic to PP this game on any difficulty.
forgot muh pic
Use Shuraba and parry them, otherwise just git gud at dodge ofsetting.
these fuckers were scary on infinite climax. by far the biggest blockers in the entire game.
Bayonetta 1 made me realize my tv has input lag because I couldn't dodge for shit.

Fun game but it's so hard that it makes me feel like I have better things to do.
Infinite climax is gay because you can't even use witch time.
Ganker posters

I stopped playing SH4 for a long time because of the ghosts. It's generally not a very fun game but worth playing for the visuals.

It seems like it would be more fun on repeated playthroughs when you know when to use the candles. Also the final boss fight is hilarious.
theres a list of the objectively best ghosts to pin with swords that will massively reduce the annoyance factor

For me, it's the lack of their loud breathing.

Bats in Castlevanias
>What enemies make you hot and bothered
hes just like me fr
>instakills you
why, my peanus weenus of course 🙂
hahah! 😀
it's my weeeeeenus peanus! 🙂 hahah
What enemies in vidya bother you? - my answer is, of course, my peanus weenus 😀
hahah!
dont care how played out it is, it'll always be poison headcrabs. the only spider-type enemy that still bothers me on an instinctual level
Their section in half life alyx was pretty freaky, especially climbing up the ladder in the elevator shaft and seeing them climb up with you.

the hiding is the worst part for me, its too similar to swatting at a spider in your bedroom and losing it behind the dresser

Big hairy spiders.
robot and ghost enemy factions are always the fucking worst in any game they show up in
The guys that are stuck to the wall in Dead Space.
I feel bad for them but at least you can hear a little relief in their voice when they die.
