I've never finished a single game
>average Ganker poster
average Gankerirgins dont even play games anymore
I don't even own a device I can play real video games on. I'm posting on my phone while in the bathroom stall at work. Yes, I work on Sundays. Somebody has to answer your stupid calls when you can't figure out how to turn on your own tv.
Ghost Trick it was so fucking soulful and good.
Nintendo consoles always have great swan songs
this, ghost trick is the one game i wish i could experience again for the first time.
>mfw chapter 15
astral chain i didn't feel sad i just thought "damn that happened" in disbelief
>"damn that happened" in disbelief
mass effect 2
just sat there watching the credits roll wondering how it was possible to fuck it up so bad
>wearing shoes indoors
>junk food
>console
I never understood why people get so hung up on shoes indoors.
Is it such an alien idea to have clean shoes? Are you just so used to trudging through mounds of human shit on the streets before coming inside?
Retard.
you're retarded uberhygienists, you're what's wrong with post industrial revolution society, you're a bunch of fucking retards that will probably die of heart attack in their 40s because you're so fucking retarded your heart won't handle it and stop beating voluntarily
1) shoes taken outside will never be clean, even if you don't see with your mole eyes, your shoes are dirty
2)it's not comfortable. If you're in your house, why not remove them specially for playing videogames
3) proper etiquette, this is what differentiate people from savages
Spoken like a man who has never been to a country estate. Sure, leave muddy wellies in the hall or cloak room, but otherwise wear some presentable and clean shoes. If you fancy bring a pair of slippers, but this whole idea of not wearing shoes is poor person cope so the carpet pile isn't compressed.
certain games are better played while wearing shoes, for proper grip
>Is it such an alien idea to have clean shoes?
Considering the purpose of shoes is to get dirty in place of your feet, yes. Do you clean your shoes every time you get home?
I don't wear them inside I just wanted to make europeans mad
I personally just use different shoes.
this tbh
imagine actually taking your shoes off each time and having your house smell like foot. and getting guest to do the same? disgusting.
>his feet smell
bad hygiene fag
Fucked me up for a full day.
rdr1 and 2.
These,
Recently, The Last of Us 2 and Metal Gear Solid 4. As for games I played a while back, maybe NieR.
>white man BAD revenge BAD yooooo lesbians!
fuck off cuckmann
>White man bad
The character they put in the best light are two white dude, Joel and Owen. Play the game, you have no idea what you’re talking about. Kind of proves my point that Ganker is too stupid for the game lol
Never got why retards like you pretend that they made Joel an asshole in this game. He looks better in this game than the first one. The game literally makes you like him more
Persona 5 royal before realizing how stupidly written it was.
star ocean 3
still get chills
Is that.. a FACEBOOK filename?? An image with a wojak from FACEBOOK? FUCK YOU! GO BACK!
nier gestalt and automata both did this to me, gestalt especially
>2] [3] [4] [5] [6] [7] [8] [9] [10]
really nice to see people with the same taste here
Same
But second part and the ending is mediocre and too predictable.
Factos
Automata for obvious reasons.
Other than that, Mass Effect 1 due to the corny ending song. Kinda felt satisfying for some reason.
>Automata for obvious reasons
What obvious reasons? I played that all the way through the true ending and all I felt was pretentiousness.
>haha what if I deleted your save file AGAIN xD
yoko taro is a fucking hack but I admit the music was fantastic
don't worry so much bro you fit in 🙂
Not trying to fit into your sekrit kurabu. I guess the entire thing just flew over my head since I didn't play the previous games. I barely have a shit about 2B and 9S, let alone those two redheads or the music cart robot.
>I didn't play the previous games
>>haha what if I deleted your save file AGAIN xD
literally a secondary, apply yourself and watch less garden gnometube
>pretentiousness
I understand if you don't like them, but saying games with themes as simple and direct as Taro's are pretentious makes you look like kind of a brainlet.
Corny? That shit was kino https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NcrDWAuyqtc&ab_channel=AlexisPereira
Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Time
It just felt different for some reason. I think it was the closest representation of friendship that I have ever experienced.
That game was magical, supernatural even
every game that doesn't let you skip the credits because they usually have 5-hour-long credits that still aren't over even after you're done taking a piss and getting a cup of coffee or something so you just sit here waiting for them to end like you give a fuck about who handled the italian localization of the game
for me it was elden ring
holy fuck what a wild two months those were
>Reddit Ring
You're an NPC
>video not available
but yeah i agree, mgs3 was probably closest
MGS3, also every visual novel where you date cute girls
ah, saya no uta
I just beat ds1 blind yesterday. Gwn's theme along with the lore behind him is kino
first walking dead by telltale games
unironically, telltale Walking Dead Season 1 and Spec Ops: The Line. the latter just felt like a wild ride by the time it reached the reflection scene.
Mgs3
Soma and Mass Effect
A mix of sadness and confusion
not sure why but the notes where she's complaining about how she's getting old and the ship is just boring now got to me
I think subnautica was the last one that did this to me
NEO TWEWY
Omori still lives rent free in my head, the story had plot holes and the actual "twist" felt like it was made for shock value however the cutscene you get near the end is very beautiful and touching
I haven't felt like this about a video game in almost 20 years, and not for lack of playing games. I know I'm not broken because I can still find other forms of media that make me feel this way, be it books or films or TV shows. Not games though, not anything made in the last 19 years anyway.
no because I'm not a consolefag
The Surge (1st game)
Yup
Zeno Clash 2. Not that it was some deep and thought-provoking experience but more the fact I picked the series up because 'haha weird caveman domestic abuse simulator' so I wasn't expecting any more than that.
If the outside world had forgotten us, we've rudely reminded them we're still here. If they never forgot and simply didn't see necessity of further contact then how will they react to the death of not one but all their custodians? The uncertainty of what, if any, response the events of the game will have is fucking fascinating to me
I really hope Clash Artifacts of Chaos does well so we get the conclusion to the Zeno Clash story, I don't know why but I think about the story of zeno clash a lot and really want to know how the fuck the outside world is going to react to a flood of crazed mutant men that they threw away to forget
Same, there's a lot of details that made me ask questions and even if those questions never receive answers, I still enjoy the world they've built for that series.
The two long-deceased Golems' choice of game honestly gave me feels considering their isolation. Did they choose poorly or were they misinformed of their station? Did they have company that died long before they would? So many questions
Have you finished Artifacts of Chaos, what did you think? I enjoyed it but after all these years I would have preferred a continuation of the story rather than a prequel. I'd imagine the Boy will tie into the next game
ffx
So many games have soulless credits music, so much wasted potential. VNs have it right, you have meaningful memorable music near the end/during the credits, and then goes back to the main menu screen, which is now different because you cleared the game, maybe with the ending music as the new menu theme
FFX fucked my shit up so hard I dont really want to play it again because it reminds me of the early 2000's so much
>back to the main menu screen, which is now different because you cleared the game
This shit is so good, bonus points if it changes as the story progresses and depending on which ending you got.
TLOU2
Game is absolutely brilliant and it’s sad that Ganker is too stupid/hateful to see it.
Hello Neil
Sup.
I actually used to shitpost for months and months about TLou2 in honking it was garbage. Went over to my buddies and played it for a bit, which made me buy it. I’ve since replayed it four times and the game is fucking amazing.
Just happened to me with dead space 2
Xenoblade 3, multiple times
kinoblade always gets me
Feels: the videogame.
I sat through like, two hours of credit sequences in Eternal Sonata. I thought it was gonna be quick, but it kept going to post-credit scenes, and then back to more credit sequences.
By the end of it, the screen just went black, it wasn't even programmed to kick me back to the main menu lmao
https://youtu.be/qKl0OynkQPs
Skip through this video, there's some retarded parts in here, like where the characters turn to the camera and grandstand about philosophy
Fucking wild.
>finish metroid prime
>hear the full main menu music
Tales of Symphonia. I couldn't believe the adventure was over.
LISA
For me it rain world
The ending felt so otherwordly and deserved after all that shit
Oneshot.
Cyberpunk, sun, Panam and suicide endings.
Nier Automata.
And Black Souls 2
Same here but instead of the ending it was Dorothy's scene
>game ends
>screen goes dark
>see own reflection
>hear PC case fans
>room feels loudly quiet if that makes sense
Mario Odyssey, not my favorite but after years of waiting for another game in the vain of Mario 64 and Sunshine I didn't know how to feel after "beating" it
I thought Odyssey would be so much better. The movement is fun, but that’s fucking it. The levels are boring, using the hat is underwhelming, and the moons are so pointlessly easy. It also took out all of the soul from Mario. Give me Galaxy 1&2 over Odyssey every day of the week.
Finally, someone agrees with me. I keep trying to like the game, I really want to love it but I can't bring myself to. The world feels soulless, the art direction makes everything feel incredibly sterile compared to previous 3d mario games.
I don't disagree but I love Sunshine and 64 mainly because of the controls, I love fucking around and exploring with the movesets in each game.
The friends of Ringo Ishikawa
I dont play games i just shitpost on this place and coom to characters of vidyas
i feel absolutely nothing when playing games, it's just wasting time
play better games then
Outer Wilds
what an adventure of a game
i alternate betweend cod mw22 and get enraged after 2 rounds then go to bf2042 chill out
youtube Ganker
and back to mw22
help
I was depressed for a week after beating this game
Wasn't the fan patch for this one abandoned? I remember reading about it on the dex.
He finished already. Honestly I didn't really beat it because it crashed right before the second-last dungeon, but I played like 90% of it and watched the rest on youtube. Unironically one of the most impactful games I ever played even though it has many, many flaws.
That's what I was getting at, I remember something about the patch being buggy and prone to crashing and the author not finding the motivation to go and fix it.
He finished it. But the game being bugged and crashing was not his fault, its a very old, messy game.
I just found the thread I had in mind and people are talking about having to play it on a fucking Windows XP VM to have a stable experience. That's rough.
The full playthrough can be seen on youtube with the English patch https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLDtAoszu7LEZKgHsWBDaKZAoqiNcBUrqK
Cyberpunk and call of pripyat
There is one from time to time. Most recent is Project Wingman for me.
Came here to add this one. That vast emptyness and the quiet main theme on piano after what is basically a ten minute long 3D touhou fight with a schizophrenic...
You just have to sit there and contemplate for a moment. Whats left?
Sayonara Wild Hearts
Mass Effect 1
Sonic Frontiers unironically
Death Stranding unironically. La Creatividad pulled it off again.
Such a weird feeling taking that cuff off. I didn’t play games for a couple of weeks after that.
Labyrinth of Galleria. It really knows how to fuck with you.
Twinsens Odyssey
i dont play games
Death Stranding
LMAO good one
>t. never played Death Stranding
inFAMOUS 2
>half as long
>twice as bright
or
>let go
It's been how many years, yet I feel it.
mgs1
nfs hotpusuit remaster
re0
rdr1 too
In all honesty MGS2. Yeah I know Ganker will attack me.
Don’t worry bro, Ganker will attack you no matter what you opinion you hold 😉
i replay mgs2 again this year and it predicted our current state to a T. we do need some sort of filtration for the internet or useless information gets passed around that we don't need. we have retards with a voice who shouldnt have a voice. funny thing is it wasnt done on purpose mgs2 accidentally predicted the future
Internet is fake and gay.
There has never been free speech.
This was just a big program to gaslight the youth.
It actually has been accepted as a massive failure but they won't publically admit it.
original RE4 because the end credit picture story on how the outbreak happened was pretty interesting and sad if you pay attention to it.
No, because playing games where the story is the focus is fucking gay. Go watch a movie or read a book, gay.
have a nice day and tell Hollywood to stop adapting games into tv shows and movies
That girl looks like she is about to tell me that I can't learn Japanese alone.
the only games that makes me feel like that is the mass effect series. once that whole journey is done it always makes me feel so empty
>wake up
>puts his shoes on
Why are mutts like this
theres a part of your brain that thinks about america 24/7
Prince of persia sands of time. I went outside afterwards and there was a rainbow
red dead redemption 2
>finish game
>realise that all ive done outside of work for the last few weeks is play that game
>dont know what to do with myself
>feel awkward until i find something else to fill the void
MGS1
MGS2
MG: Rising
Final Fantasy 7
Final Fantasy 9
>Used to watch brother play the shit out of MGS1, unlocking the tuxedo and playing through the entire game with it yet again.
>kinda grew apart as the years moved on
>comes over to visit recently
>Playing MGS myself and fighting Rex
>He notices, comes over and we just sit there reminiscing about our childhood
>americans wear socks and shoes all day
>warm environment, inevitably a bit damp
>literally a breeding ground for microorganisms
>this is so normalized that the term "smells like feet" is normalized for something smelling bad
>yet there are americans in this thread defending this shit
Thanks for reminding me to let the pups out. So much better, fuck.
This one, Kojima warned them, tgey didn’t listen, mind fuckiest ending in videogame I have ever played
>warned
it was happening before kojima was even born. look into 50s-60s speculative scifi
Suikoden 2
shadow warrior (2013)
TEH DISCONNECT:
TRAILER: https://youtu.be/ywhDCQnLf_Q
ENDING (SPOILER WARNING!!!): https://youtu.be/FqBgyQqZPGk
any GTA game
Feel the same way except for V. Felt like it lacked direction and the only character I thought was even slightly relatable was Franklin. Trevor feels like he belongs in a Borderlands game he's so annoying and Michael is just a whiny boomer. That's just the main problem, nevermind everything else.
Conker
Underrail
The ending fucking sucked but the entire ride up to that point was phenomenal. Learning everything on my own, dying 30 times per encounter before realizing the right way to do it, having to restart my first playthrough because my build was ass. Love this game.
Titanfall 2 was weirdly fulfilling for your mid 2010's FPS shooter.
Megaman zero 4
Metro 2033. It has been a long time since a game made me feel that feel
Persona 3 on the ps2 back in the day. The original fable too, good time to enjoy games all around.
Pretty much nothing I play has end credits
Steambot chronicles
