Yakuza being a long running franchise was a terrible, terrible mistake.
I would agree but yakuza 0 plays so well and has so much content that its worth the trouble
But kiwami 1 and 2 should have been more faithful remakes and not what we got

You kinda do, since they did set up a sequel with Kairi, Sora, and Riku getting separated in the end of KH1 and Donald and Goofy not recovering the King with it pretty obviously setting up the sequel
The series was not set in stone at all with nomura even admitting the secret ending in KH1FM was made up on the spot if they could ever do a KH2
I was referring to the standard ending.
I'd gotten the impression from KH2 that Nobodies (particularly the organization) were meant to look somewhat similar to who they used to be but not exactly the same, based on the appearances of Roxas and Xemnas.
Then BBS came along and fucked everything up. God I hate Ventus and everything he was in.
Literally the only good thing about BBS and everything after is old man Xehanort.
I still that that KH1, CoM and 2 make a decent enough and compact trilogy, and it's only after that where it really shits itself

Yeah, the combat sucked in BBS and DDD but 3 was supposed to be a return to form and boy howdy was it not. The Toy Story world was fantastic and I'm sad it was wasted on that game.
Squeenix and shitty combat have been quite a pair lately. Glad they hired Team Ninja for SoP, that game kicked ass.

In BotW I really liked the focus on physics and the way you move through and interact with the world but the lack of proper dungeons or even like caves or anything is lame as fuck. Then I played Elden Ring and I was like fuck yes, this is what I want from an open world in the next Zelda game.

Nah, 2's actually my fave.
I just didn't care much for the PS3 trillogy's story, and was mixed on the gameplay. Didn't help that the 3rd one was a rushed cash in since they were so busy making a legion of mediocre spin offs.
And the 1 remake was a full bore step down.
I am pretty pumped that there's a rumor that Rift Apart may get a PC release though. I'm not bothering with the PS5 as nice a controller as it has. I haven't followed the game much but it looks pretty alright.
I've been told it's the best game since Crack in Time but obviously that's not exactly a high bar.

Nobody has played crazy taxi 2 or 3. The new maps added also suck dick compared to the original game.
Wasn't a fan of two. The multi passenger fares made routing hard. The jump didn't add much in a good way. East Coast style cities are dull as fuck in comparison in design and the map left a lot to be desired.
I had no idea a 3 existed, or anything about it. I say this as a person who has CT1 in their top 10 games of all time.
3 is on xbox and a jank PC port and adds the las vegas map and other challenges

No I'll definitely take WoL over Subspace. Imagine making a stiff-as-hell platformer where your running momentum doesn't transfer to your jump. You know what other game did that? Sonic 4, and it's one of many reasons why no one likes that piece of shit.
Speaking of Sonic, fuck everything after Heroes. Not that Heroes was good either but there's some redeeming qualities to it.
Heroes is the last time 3D sonic levels actually looks like the art of the 2D games with zones that could conceivably be on genesis
