You literally can't. When Ash caught Krabby in the original series, its Poke Ball was instantly teleported to Oak's because he already had six Pokemon hand, and in BW, when he caught Sewaddle, its Poke Ball locked until he sent one of his other Pokemon to Juniper.
The one time Ash had seven Pokemon with him was during the battle with Gary in the Johto League where he didn't use Pikachu, but that could be explained as simply sending Pikachu's empty Poke Ball to Oak.
Nothing, it’s not illegal it’s just against the formally agreed upon rules of pokemon leagues. And because most trainers either participate in or have previously participated in the league, or are not good at capturing pokemon because they aren’t a prodigy like you, they only use 6 max
Regular trainers who the limit applies to are Class C.
Class B are more elite trainers and professors, who are allowed to carry more under certain circumstances. Obviously a Class B wouldn't be tournament eligible trainer.
Finally, Class As are Officers of the International Police. If you check their ID and they're carrying this, you are to answer/report to them if needed or forfeit your license.
There really should be an evil team leader with more than 6 Pokemon.
It would make perfect sense for a criminal to break the law and cheat and would make for an interesting boss fight against someone with an advantage.
The balls containing the extra Pokemon are shoved up your ass.
you invoke the wrath of arceus and die instantly
You get immediately prompted if you want to send your lastest capture to a box, or have it switch with another Pokémon in your party
The professor of the region enters your psyche and whispers into your mind until you succumb to the natural order.
Pokeballs are supposed to be big and six is supposed to be the limit someone could reasonable carry around
The anime instead made them shrink
Castration as punishment, just another two balls right?
Nothing really. Alder canonically carries around his entire collection because he doesn't know how to use a computer
Can he just keep them at home or at a daycare
That doesn't make sense
arrested for gang violence
Rape correction
Your soul gets trapped inside a pokeball for eternity. It's picked up by a swimmer girl and tucked away somewhere.

What if I do that for all six of my Pokémon?
You'll get bankrupt feeding them all, and renting rooms for them.

I think trainers can't control more than six at once. No one is that strong
you get arrested. High capacity pokeballs are illegal, you don't need more than 6 pokemon at once.
