What is her name, Ganker?
Gummi ship sections
Same. I'm always excited to play KH for the Gummi ship sections. Then I remember the rest of the game..
Dark Riku in KH1 Critical, No Skipping Cutscenes
Megaman Zero 3 is my favorite 2d action game but Anubis Necromancess’ stage is annoying as hell, Cubit Foxtar’s stage goes on for too long, and Volteel Biblio’s stage fucking sucks shit.
Based Megaman Zero enjoyer. That said, for me it’s the first fight against Fefnir in MMZ2. I genuinely don’t know why, I cannot crack that one damn fight and die at least three times every time I play that game.
I'm playing Zero 3 for the first time and getting my ass kicked. Finally beat the thunder and fire stages, was able to beat the jungly one but did it too slowly so going to replay it to keep at least A rank.
Same. KH2's feel like they go by faster though.
For me it's Inarabita or something, I hate it. There's not much I dislike in that game though so I put up with it.
General White in paper mario ttyd
>think about giving ttyd another chance since i dropped it at the glitz pit
>remember i'd have to do boggly woods again
>no longer want to play
boggly woods is comfy as fuck, what's the problem
nothing, anon.. they won't understand.. they never will..
Half Life 1 on a rail
sewers in VtMB
All of the side planets as well as pinnacle station in Mass Effect 1
Jacob and Miranda's loyalty missions in Mass Effect 2
The Tuchanka side quests, Samara's quest, the Geth quests, the Cerberus quests, and the entire end portion of Mass Effect 3
WoW but literally everything without having people to play with.
Morrowind but how insanely long all of the sidequests and exploring takes.
Most of Nar'Shaddaa in KOTOR 2 tbh.
This but also change it to sewers in every game ever.
cathedral in code vein
all of them
Dark Souls 2
half of the game
everything after the capital
Every souls game honestly
>Post O&S DS1
>Post Pontiff DS3
>Everything after the capital
Mohg, Malenia, Radagon, Godfrey are all KINO
>Dark Souls 2
>half of the game
Which half, both?
the whole game is littered with bad areas, bosses and mechanics. It's the only From soft game that is both good and bad at the same time. Their other soulsborne games are just good.
the first hour or 2 of disco elysium
honestly it's not bad but my brain is wired bad and i need to get hooked on the story before i can really dig into it. the final cut really helped with all the extra voicelines.
The entirety of MGS4
TES4 Oblivion, the main quest. Same applies to Skyrim
RDR 1 and Mexico. Granted, it makes you feel like a foreigner and it's so comfy to finally travel back to US but the missions are such slog sometimes
I'm replaying GoW Ragnarok right now and holy shit the Atreus sections are so much worse than I remember. I don't think I'll ever go back to it again after this.
>RDR 1 and Mexico
This part actually made me drop the game years ago. I never did beat it.
Fallout New Vegas
Modding it before I even start. Something always gets fucked up in the process, and when I do finally get a proper set of mods working, the next time I boot up the game months or years later, something seems to break.
Also Come Fly With Me and all of the fetch quests the Boomers/BoS send you on. Tedious as fuck on replays.
In the same boat, except that my saves seem to corrupt after reaching about 30 hours of total playtime and just brick.
For me it's melee stealth killing all the powder gangers for free xp. Then:
>go to eddie
>go to chavez
>go back to eddie
>go to the bounty hunter
>go back to eddie
>go to primm
>go back to eddie
>forget to equip ncr armor as the ncr attacks the prison to prevent reputation loss
It really fucking sucks because I actually have never finished FNV, or any of the stalkers because of this type of shit even when I've gotten nearly to the end in all of them.
>Spend hours modding, tweaking, getting a CTD, more tweaking, finally get the game running.
>So much work I don't even feel up to playing for more than an hour, or get fucked early game by something and ragequit.
>Try to come back, game crashes because of some bullshit.
>Do actually play for a bit, start looking for more mods, install mods, repeat step 2. PROFIT?
System Shock 2 Rickenbacker
the fucking cart section in dragons dogma.
half of the levels in banjo-tooie
but it takes like 10 minutes
The entirety of Dark Souls 3
Kick the cart.
Here, let's save time:
FF10 Seymour Natus
Xenogears 2nd disc
Anything that cc's the player
Platforming and stealth out of genre
Everything after the crunch time
World 6 and 7
That one escort mission
Protoss third from last mission
Night Elves second from last mission
The plot-important minigames in FF7 were sometimes more fun than the actual game.
>Escape from Midgar
>That sub mission
>A fucking RTS side quest
Arkham Knight. Every predator mission, batmobile part or multiple shieldfags, medics, electrified bitches fights.
Christ, not looking forward to this in the remaster coming out. I'm expecting a whole wave of threads with people who never played TTYD complaining about this and the nonsense of getting to the moon.
Still adore TTYD, but man some parts are obnoxious to replay.
i love boggly woods and look forward to it every time
glitz pit is "that part" for me
Bed of Chaos
I replayed DS1 just couple days ago and Bed of Chaos is such incredible shit, I had like suppressed in my head how awful it was
Did you really remake this thread right after the other one? Shit man, this place has become awful.
It's Flux. That's the hard one.
Natus is hard if you didn't level up Tidus or Kimahri tho
Why are you terminally online
I'm not. I saw the thread before lunch, I'm in bed and saw it again. Dumbass.
>half life 1
>all the game after blast pit
Blast Pit to On a Rail are the low points of the campaign for me everything else is great until you get to the 2nd half of Zen
I unironically like half life 1 zen
I like Zen too but nobody likes the alien factory crawl right at the end
Imo only xen, lambda core and maybe questionable ethics are good after blast pit
All of the retarded slow walking talking parts in Vanquish. I fucking hate Gears of War for ruining third person shooters
I either completely steamroll a game or win by pure luck.
Breath of Fire 3.
Every single unskippable storyline halting mini-game. Good lord there are so many.
>Oh boy, can't wait to replay Bloodborne with all of the cool areas to explore and find all the items in! I sure hope I'm not forgetting any foggy dark forest with hundreds of items spread throughout every individual, featureless corner alongside a shit ton of boring clusters of snakes to fight!
I liked the Forbidden Woods, it gave a sense of being lost in the woods and for some reason that clicked with me.
Yeah I agree
I hate this aprt of the game because it's confusing but at the same time this whole game is out to get you in some way or another, and with maps and guidance mechanics in most games today you rarely feel really lost, and they designed it specifically for this which nails that uncomfortable feeling so I can appreciate that
>HL 2 the fucking intro and vehicle sections
>MGS4 third act
>DOOM 2 that shitty fucking map with the rising floors
>Majora's Mask when you're stuck in deku form
>Diablo 2 Act 2 maggot lair and Act 3 in general (love the town though).
>.Hack//IMOQ virus cores holy fuck PLEASE tell me there's a way to hack/cheat them into the game.
There are others but this is what comes to mind while I'm at work.
The maggot lair is a pretty short dungeon tho. Man up.
It's 3 levels of cramped bug aids. 1/3 of the enemies zap all your stamina, 1/3 shoot out lightning, and the other third burrow to become invincible and lay eggs that spawn 10 minibugs each, further crowding the time file tunnels.
I love d2, a lot, but that level is straight annoying. I actually played a modded version that increased the tinnel width to about 2.5 times the size and it wasn't bad.
I remember not being able to get my hands on //outbreak so I started //quarantine with zero virus cores. Good times.
Mountaintops, Snowfield, and Shunning Grounds in Elden Ring
You could have just said all of Elden Ring the game is shit.
No, Limgrave, Caelid, Liurnia, Mt. Gelmir, and Altus are all fine. The Legacy dungeons are all great too, and I like the underground areas. The ones I mentioned, however, are dogshit.
Ignore that guy.
He has been angry at ER for a long time, and you can tell by his broken English.
Gow 1 that huge desert before pandora's temple
Just replayed N64 OOT you know what temple I'm talking about.
the whole game is "that part"
harden the fuck up, bitch boy
Several parts of Dragon Age: Origins.
Mostly The Fade.
That Fucking fishing level in the tutorial
That's the part of TP? Not going around collecting all the letters for the book?
Anor Londo archers
That’s easy after the first play through
anytime I'm forced to play as Ciri
Why did they make him so retardedly strong?
I don't remember fighting this thing
it's a side quest by that one guy in Hollywood.
The first hour of any Ass Creed
First 5 hours of Okami
I didn't even finish the game because I couldn't stand how long this part was taking.
I played a save with 999 adrenal accelerators because fuck walking around slowly. I think Kotor2 at least sped the suits up massively compared to 1.
Yeah and it looks retarded
I know every Fromsoft game has to have that one annoying poison floor area, but Farron Keep just goes on for way too long. The Lake of Rot in ER takes a fraction the time to grab everything and get through.
>the unskippable 5 mins cutscene of helgen at the start of the game
>the entirety of the main quest, especially when i have to interact with delphine
>Doesnt have alternate start
You cant be this retarded
I like to play vanilla. Go fuck yourself.
>mod that literally removes one thing you hate and nothing else, one option is literally just vanilla but you skip the cutscene
>No I play vanilla
Just admit you play on console or are too clueless to install a mod
>Not making a save just before character creation
>Prince of Persia trilogy...
>...psp ports with "cut-content levels"
The World of Balance in FF6 until you unlock the airship
Thank god fast foward is a thing
dark souls 3
>running around to all of the tribe camps and sucking their dicks
Deep roads in Dragon age
Better than the Fade at least.
Anyways for me its Crestwood in DAI.
Skyrim. Where that part is the entire game.
Level scaling in FFVIII. I want to replay it but the game is broken.
Cutscenes in FFX. It's not 2001 anymore I don't want to replay movie games much.
every RPG intro/tutorial section
usually takes from 5-10 minutes to sometimes hours
Fallout 2 tutorial
>Basically the entire oil rig part before you get to Arsenal Gear
>not the part where you fight 500 rays
Wizards & Warriors
That FUCKING FIRE CAVERN JUMP.
Resident evil 6, Chris's campaign.
genshin farming materials
The Desert area in Alundra.
Almost the entire lategame of Metroid Prime
Labyrinth of Amala/Kabukicho Prison (SMT3)
Great Cathedral (SMT1)
YHVH Universe (SMTIV:A)
Sand Zone and Grasstown (Cave Story)
The fuckint desert palace in FFIX
you know after almost two decades of playing FFIX every year, i've actually grown fond of that section. i'm assuming you mean the segment whre you need to light various orb-like torches around the palace, with the big obelisk boss at the end?
Genuinely bad fight.
>can skip him
>but must destroy a fictional planet and be mean in a short cutscene to do so
Fire Emblem, except that "that part" comprises the entirety of the games, it sucks being a fire emblem fan you know, having to force myself to play them every year in order to maintain my image.
elise is so cute
TF2 halloween contracts on Moldergrove, Graveyard, Helltower, Sinshine and Hassle castle.
Stronghold - mission 15
mgs5 and the entire goddamn intro
on second thought, what a bleak shitty and depressing game. never wanna replay it.
>Still no mod to let me bring in more fucking weapons.
Who the fuck made this fucking change. Why can't I bring a pistol and a tranq-gun. Why can't I bring a shotgun and an assault rifle. Why can't I bring a sniper rifle and an assault rifle.
NetHack - Gehennom and generally blowing through wishes and magic markers to prepare for the ascension run
>Remember all of Depot A and how much of a slog it is before the game opens up
Fucking hell, styg
>Bayonetta 1 and the needlessly long needlessly punishing and incredibly nauseating missile level
>Chibi-robo and the absurdly long and slow cutscenes and dialog
>Breath of fire 2 and Hi-fort, a mandatory hour+ long dungeon you have to solo with the incredibly limited healing opportunities and the shittiest party member of the game
>Wind Waker and that part of the game you just have to sail all the way from Windfall island to outset island, the part where you have to slowly sail to the three triangle islands, the Triforce hunt and rupee grinding
>Twilight Princess and basically everything before the forest temple
>Killer7 and the horrible boss fight against the two japanese businessmen
>Wario land 3 and the beginning where you have basically no moveset at all
>Banjo-Kazooie and Clanker's cavern
>TTYD and the General white chase
>Majora's Mask and the Pirate fortress
>Okami and that overly long and pointless part where you travel back in time that also has permanently missable completion checks
>Grinding out character unlocks in any fresh save of a Smash Brothers game
>Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm 1
>All the fucking side mission grinding required to actually play the story
>All the fucking medals required to collect to actually play the story
>All the fucking ticket grinding required to actually play the story
Nothing makes me hate a game more than having to grind some bullshit that's not integrated into the game well in order to progress.
When I have to work doing unfun thing or repetitive thing to earn being able to do fun thing, I just don't want to play the game.
Far Cry 2
>feel like messing around in a cozy african setting
>reinstall Far Cry 2
>car checkpoints every few meters
>unlimited enemy respawn
>enemies have wallhack
>their cars have speed hack (can't outrun them)
>play one hour
I've had this game since it came out... like 15 years ago or something. Still haven't managed to finish it, because it's just soo tedious. Yet, the setting of the game is pretty unique. What a waste of ressources. I am kinda glad Ubishit Montreal sacked some 100 employees recently.
Why are zoomlennials so dependent on breaking bad for expressing this specific sentiment?
I’ve been wanting to replay Persona 4 for awhile now but whenever I start to I remember the investigation segments and get turned off.
>we need the filler open world hub audience
>dodge the 200 lightning bolts
I replayed FFX last month and I was dreading this, but there's a trick you can do where you enter a crater near a lighting rod and it will trigger a lighting bolt every single time. I got the 200 dodges in less than 10 minutes and only flubbed once.
Getting 0 seconds on the chocobo race made me WAY angrier
>Deus Ex: Human Revolution Director's Cut
>Missing Link dlc boat part right before the end of the game
