Not that anon, but even so that's absolutely inexcusable. Had a similar experience with Resident Evil 5. Game literally would not function without a fan-made patch.
There is no amount of boot-licking that could even make it plausible that a consumer would find games being sold in literally unusable states is acceptable. Any extra effort on the consumer's part is utter failure on the producer's.
Just admit that Bioware are buttfrickers. You'll sound a million times less moronic. You're actually defending corporations selling broken products and trying to act superior to a person who acknowledges that that is fricked up. Just sit, reflect, and take a hot minute to comprehend just exactly how massively moronic your dumbass is.
That's before you even consider that Bioware games are all complete trash that only irredeemable morons enjoy. If you have to be moronic, pick just one area to be moronic in. When you defend an incompetent company whose games are awful, that's bad enough. When you defend that same company selling products that don't work as advertised, you're on an incomprehensible level of stupidity.
That doesn't fix it moron. Anyone posting here knows how to use a computer. I'm sure it works on your machine, great, but I'm not running hardware from 2000 like you.
An inch or a mile. Doesn't make a difference. If the game is being sold on a platform, there is absolutely zero excuse for it not functioning exactly like every other game on said platform. It doesn't matter that I can figure out how to make it work, the fact that one has to do so in the first place is proof that moronic, lazy, incompetent dipshits are distributing the product.
This is nonsense. It works fine on Steam, you just have to move a file. There's even community guides for the fix on Steam. It's dumb that it's needed, but it works.
That said, I still decided to play it on Xbox. While the game supported widescreen without mods, the UI would get stretched. And the movement on PC is weird if using MKB. I just feel both Jade Empire and KOTOR feel more natural on Xbox.
imagine wanting to play this shit ugly game
gamespot from over a decade ago nails it >the combat atleast looks pretty good and seems to offer quite a bit of depth on paper but in practice it's actually pretty shallow >you just wail on the attack button until your enemies block at which time you use your ublockable move; if they attack, vault over behind them, rinse and repeat >this tactic works against literally every single enemy in the game >and on top of that the default difficulty setting of jade empire makes combat almost laughably easy you'll tear through your enemies without breaking a sweat

I prefer playing it on a double electric wall oven.
whatever you prefer, i bought an original xbox copy just to have it in my library and play it as it came out.
PC with mods.
The PC version works fine, so PC I guess? Otherwise you could try the Xbox version, heard it's fully backwards compatible and runs at 4K.
Don't buy it on steam, it literally doesn't function and they will never fix it.
What doesn't function about it?
>open the exe location
>run as administrator
problem solved, moron. Use google next time.

unironically xbawks
On the 360 you'd have some weird slowdown.
How's the Xbox port? Its 3 bucks on Xbox right now.
>using pcgamingwiki is too much effort
stick to consoles kid
>running the game ad administrator each time is too much work
good news anon
Don't. It's shit.
