What is the surest sign before the fight even begins that the host player who summoned you for help is about to be absolute trash?
What is the surest sign before the fight even begins that the host player who summoned you for help is about to be absolute trash?
he summoned for help, so of course he's trash
This is true of course, but as long as they are competent enough to roll out of the way for her dive bomb flower attack and hold up a shield for waterfowl if it comes their way, at least I don’t assume they’re braindead. But like 80% of hosts cant even survive the dive bomb. It’s absurd.
>hold up a shield for waterfowl if it comes their way
haha yeah I love it when my retard teammates heal the boss for 60% of her health because they're too retarded to learn how to dodge
It’s that happening once or twice in the whole fight, or the incompetent host trying to dodge and getting killed and wiping the whole team.
You pick.
I much prefer hosts blocking it instead of panic rolling and dying
as long as that's the only attack they block, it's fine
dunno, the only people I ever summon are friends for subsequent playthroughs
They’re a mage.
This, every time a magic user summoned me they'd go in with some retarded 15 second windup spell and die, or try to kamehameha her and die.
>Get summoned
>Host has the dildo hat on to boost magic and All cloth armor
>Already know this dude didn't touch vigor because he didn't even fuck with equipment load
>Boss begins
>Runs straight at boss and gets one shot by opening attack
This is like 30% of all souls magic users
Honestly if he looks like a loot goblin, it means he can't dodge and will almost certainly die to waterfowl dance
they use a rune arc
>summoned you
>he bought the game
If you didn't play offline on a pirated copy you didn't beat the game
the cutscene plays or they are incredibly overaggressive right from the start and refuse to let summons hold her aggro for waterfowl
Took me two tries with my trusty mimic. Whoever spends more than 30 minutes on this boss fight is legit retarded.
Congrats and letting the game beat itself for you.
I will not open this image.
You.
Did.
Not.
Beat.
The.
Game.
I don’t understand what this image has to do with using summon ashes.
>you le didnt beat the game even though you were using the tools the game gave you to beat said game
>mimic
game not beaten
>mimic
Congratulations, you beat the game.
t. movie game fan
honestly wish I had just done that, I even tested it once and dc'd before she went down but then it just felt hilariously lopsided, never summoned but I also just wanted to be done with the damn game too. Mimic was nuts though, rolled like a halfway into new game plus letting it fight everything solo for me. Think sewer mohg was the last boss he took down before I got bored, only weakness really was forgetting to unequip the torch before getting him out.
this guy uses torches
one specific torch is very useful at some point in village with invisible enemies
Doing all kinds of buffing outside the fog gate. If you need that shit you don’t know what you’re doing.
>host does like 8 buffs before going through
>dies the moment she aggros them with the quick slash combo
I will never EVER understand why that attack filters people so much. Roll forward and to her right and you dodge the whole thing, jesus christ
I don't know how is this right now, but on first patch her first attack was definitely undodgeable unless you were already at great distance while running away, second and third was, forward and then away, melee range had to tank first for sure, unless no bloodhound step or how it was
I don't think you guys are talking about the same attacks
i was talking about the attack where her sword sparks and then she lunges forward really fast swinging it like crazy, it's the one that can end in a quick or slow version of the same big swing animation
it's designed to punish people who instinctively roll backwards for everything
Using a meta/OP weapon and still needing help.
This, fucken gay how many naggers just look up “best weapon elden ring”
>radahn armor
>rennala's hat
>any of the imp heads
>greatshield+darkmoon greatsword
100% guarantee they have 1200 max hp
this but also
>bloodhound fang
>knight set
>katana(s)
>16 different buffs before entering the fog
>immediately launching weapon art at first contact
If they're wearing some generic meta garbage slapped together by whatever youtuber. If they're a spellcaster (they almost always have min vigor). If they're panic rolling every attack. If they use no buffs at all. If they're at radagon with a rivers of blood (neither boss bleeds) or any setup that leans heavily into dot procs. If they watch the phase 2 cutscene or intro cutscene (they've never done this fight before and are a shitter that summons on their first attempt). If they run away from the boss and dont even fight (i like these the most)
using anything like blasphemous blade that has a skill that knocks her down
imagine being THAT terrified of her. Without fail they always end up spamming it so hard that they are locked in an animation when she goes for waterfowl or the phantom attack
>yfw the host has no idea how to dodge her fury
FUCKING USELSS CUNTS
What's wrong with summoning? Are people that play monster hunter coop also trash?
Generally yeah. Nothing wrong with it inherently but most of the people that rely heavily on it are doing it because they can't handle 1v1ing enemies. When the mechanic can let other people straight up beat the game for you the people that rely on it are going to be shitters that never learn to engage with the mechanics an overwhelming majority of the time.
>Are people that play monster hunter coop also trash?
Absolutely.
Your going watch this sick GS setup that I been practicing an that's all there is to it.
Co-op in MH makes fights more annoying because there will be retards that just make the monster do retarded things and it’ll make the monster harder to take down super efficiently as it can switch targets mid attack if it feels like and you can’t get your cool head attack in.
>get summoned by a player named after a character in the game
>check their playtime
>600 hours
>thanks to desync in co-op you can dodge waterfowl even from close range by just running away from the first 2 flurries
>people still just stand there like pic related when she goes up for it
it's unbelievable to watch
Ganker related user name.
They buffed themselves before startinh
usually bad fashion and/or an enormous shield
As a faith player, a lot of hosts will perfectly time their fog wall entry to i-frame dodge your buff. Yes, you are invulnerable to everything while entering a fog door, including buffs. Also if a boss's first time cutscene triggers and the host doesn't skip it, it's joever.
You should NEVER subject your summons to a cutscene. It might be just one cutscene to you, but it will probably be the 10th unskippable cutscene they've seen in the last hour of gameplay. You should also never summon to a boss you've never fought before because you might want to watch the cutscene, and also you're probably going to die even if you have summons, so you'll just waste everyone's time.
I really like Malenia's second phase cutscene but it's so fucking long it drives me nuts when hosts let it play
>do co-op for maliketh
>the host hasn’t killed the draconic tree sentinel
Reddit cuckold fetish
>theres a cutscene when we enter fog wall
because it means this is his first attempt
Trying to play a single-player game online
Pure mage.
he will sit back and spam that retarded gravity rock spell, and when the boss aggros him, he will run AWAY from me, preventing me from getting aggro back
There are no trash players. Only those people who know how to dodge Waterfowl Dance and those who don't.
The real skill comes from if you parry only her and if you can reliably parry that one quick overhead swipe.
