the links are embedded in the image yes, that's what op did. the other method is just renaming the posted file to some other md5 image which it will look it up on the respective booru.

They already scrap all the other information why not just go the extra step and only keep the image itself
the embedded data is in the compression scheme, not in the metadata. Removing it requires recompressing images which is expensive to do at scale, especially when embeds are only a fraction of a percent of the images you process.

Game starts with a Personality Quiz like in Dragon Quest 3 or PMD. Then you would have to choose what you dream/wish to become. Pokémon Fighter, Pokémon Breeder, Pokémon Master, etc. These would function like Lifes in Fantasy Life, and give you special abilities and bonuses in that field. A Pokémon Breeder, for example, could hatch Eggs faster, and Pokémon hatched from Eggs have way higher potential than usual.
Then there's a short intro that introduces you, your twin sibling, your mother who owns a Pokémon Day Care, and your father who runs a Gym.
It's you and your twins birthday, so your parents FINALLY gift you a Pokémon. The Pokémon would be random and based on the Personality Quiz. They hatched from Eggs other Trainers rejected.
You're all excited to finally join your journey, but your father wants to make sure you're ready, so you cannot start your journey until you get his badge.
At this point, you only have access to the part in the black box. You can visit the nearby Forest, the Mountain/Cave to the south, and the route to the east to catch Pokémon and train your Team.
If you beat your dad at his gym, the whole World opens up and you can do whatever the fuck you want.

Story doesnt have to be anything special, just good and consistent. Id actually rather several well written character stories like lillies instead of 1 mega overarching story. There much more i could add but for me to buy any future pokemon games, legends catching and battle animations at least is a requirement.
