This is a bait post, right? Malak is a discount Vader, his jumpsuit looks suit and his character arc is pathetic beyond belief. Revan was right to blast away that wimp's jaw when the fucker got uppity.
You mean a refined Vader? Malak kicks fucking ass bro, wake up.
>Malak kicks fucking ass bro
He couldn't even backstab Revan in person like a Sith Lord should
He is a complex character with intricate motives and reasons for his actions.
>Kotor 1 does very little with him
>Kotor 2 forgets he exists completely
>added to the comics and he's just an incel pining for blue space elf pussy
>Squinquargesimus
Yeah, I'd have gone dark side all the way if I were in his place
His people don't have last names, it's the city he grew up in
>dsfargeg and Not Important of Hatred fame
>Who I am is not important
>Revan's name isn't Revan
>Alex Squinquargesimus
Did they consult George for this name? Fuck's wrong with that man?
>Did they consult George for this name?
Probably. George did a lot of consultations for tie-in media after the lore was built up enough.
my favourite thing was back in 1990/1991, before a majority of the EU was created. When the Thrawn trilogy was being written, the author was just sent a bunch of Star Wars RPG (West End) source books and told to try and not contradict anything in them.
>the Thrawn trilogy
George should forever be thankful to Zahn for making SW relevant again. You really had to be there to feel the impact; those novels were freaking huge.
I know, he came up with bangers like "darth icky" and "Elan Sleazebaggano."
to the comics and he's just an incel pining for blue space elf pussy
You are lying if you claim to not want to have mating pressed the fuck out of Mission.
Not him, but I prefer hags, Mission is too young for me
Yeah
Mission's even younger in the comic, it's not her he wants to bang
He's worthless garbage with a lot of complexes on anything related to Revan, he couldn't even get over the fact he needed the Republic to do a coup
He was a simple villain, with simple, understandable, relatable human motivations.
Not that I dislike kotor 2 but it's villains were just fucking awful
>Kreia is all about metaphysical bullshit, do that but don't do that but do. Fuck the force but everything is a force. Use the force. Don't use the force.
>Sion is in pain and is alive purely out of spite. Hates exile but loves exile.
>Nihilus aksdjfkaljsdj
It's almost like all of them are fucking schizophrenics. Fucking General Vaklu is a better villain than them.
It seems to me that you missed the point K2 was trying to make. There are no villians in K2, just a bunch of variously broken people.
Would the term “antagonist” be better for you?
>It's been 19 years and Ganker is still buckbroken by an old woman because burger education doesn't teach textual analysis in English class.
BTW the fact people are bringing up Kreia in a Malak thread just shows he's a 'just threatening enough' antagonist force to drive the plot and not that much of a compelling character.
>Kreia
Found no fulfilment in either Jedi or Sith dogma and wants to destroy both so someone with some brains can rebuild the Jedi and do it better
>Sion
Has achieved what many would call the pinnacle of Sith philosophy, immortality through hate and suffering, also finds absolutely no fulfilment and just wants someone to end it
>Nihilus
Has achieved the other pinnacle of Sith philosophy, nigh absolute power but completely enslaved by his hunger and dependence on the Force, an object lesson in the endless quest for power and dominance if not a compelling character
>kreia found no fulfilment in either the jedi or the sith
more accurately she was kicked out of the jedi order since all her previous apprentices turned to the dark side due to her dodgy teaching methods and tried to make is as a sith only to yet again get ousted for being a shit teacher
her idea that there must always be a darth treya is pure copium on her part after getting btfo by both groups, hence why she tries to pawn it off at the first opportunity to do so
turbo brainlet
he was perfect for the game. first game in the series didnt need to do anything groundbreaking in terms of character development or going against previously established tropes. he was a perfect saturday morning cartoon tier villain who simply represents evil as a black and white concept
>call the guy on a galaxy conquest a cartoon tier villain
>but old lady that wants to destroy the force and by extension all live in existence is a gray highly complex character
Absolute state of Kreiafags
Motivation matters, anon.
Sure, but no matter what motivation Kreia has her end goal is absolute shit.
Her end goal is true understand and appreciation. Trouble is that unless you're born with that propensity, you'll never "get" it.
Kreia doesn't actually want to kill the Force. Maybe she'd really like to live in a world without it but she knows that's not possible. "I'm going to Malachor to fuck the Force sideways" is just way of compelling you to show up and kill her.
And Malak is only continuing what Revan started, just with no class
how does he eat
There are other holes leading to the stomach.
Food tubes
Nothing, the prosthesis is a cool idea. Less dramatic/less advanced than vader to convey the same threat but show this is the past. However, it just looks goofy.
His motivation is just galactic domination and an inferiority complex.
He works fine as an antagonistic force, but he's neither great nor that memorable.
Because there was no convoluted deep lore backstory told to you in flower riddles by people intentionally keeping you in the dark. He's the bad guy, kill him, simple as.
What? Malak was literally Saturday morning cartoon villain with a shit design. Cool voice, but that's it.
Back then? He was just the evil bad guy
Though nowadays, having a near Saturday morning cartoon villain would be considered novel since it seems like every other villain is trying their hardest to be 'deep' and 'tragic backstory that maybe they could be redeem-arino or happy ending somehow!'
The irony is almost overwhelming considering he's a knockoff Darth Vader
>Person does bad thing at great personal risk that requires innumerable hours of planning and resources (and oftentimes convincing others to join their pursuit)
>But why though?
>lol, lamo turn your brain off bro it's not that deep.
Even malak has a deeper motivation than what you claim. He has an inferiority complex because reven's just built different and he could never win, that's why he takes the coward's way out at the start of the game and gets more unhinged as the game goes on, Reven being alive is proof he's a cowardly loser.
>reven's just built different
Revan was literally a fucking manlet.
Imagine getting owned by a fucking manlet, embarassing lmao
Honestly? He wasn't, and that is why he was great. He was YOUR apprentice. You are literally putting your retarded underling in his place. The journey is finding that bit out.
Or to put it this way: He is the personification of Revan's past. He is the result of everything that Revan built and stood for, and it is your job to smack him up like the moron he is and take back control, for better or worse.
What does he do when he gets a cold and can hardly breathe through his nose?
He breathers through his asshole
He certainly talks through it
>Ass breather.
He wasn't that great, really, kind of a saturday morning cartoon villain.
I don't mind the exile being a woman, but what Karpyshyn did with her in that abyssmal Revan tie-in novel for TOR is fucking unforgivable. Imagine being so petty and pathetic you throw a hissy fit over someone outwriting your game.
Such a waste of a character, the shear audacity of a writer. Even when the exile is seen again in SWTOR as a force ghost. They make her seem like an afterthought.
Wait, the exile isn't a woman in TOR? I thought that shit was canon.
Well it wasn't canonized at that in point in the Kotor games. It wasn't until the old republic mmo where the exile was canonized as a female. But even then it technically doesn't matter now as all of this material within the extended universe is effectively noncanon with Disney's hold of the IP.
>In 2006, The New Essential Guide to Droids established the Exile as a female, using the term "heroine" and female pronouns in a number of entries on droids that appeared in The Sith Lords.[4]
Pretty sure TOR wasn't even a concept at that point.
It was before then as well? I wasn't aware I thought the exile was established as female in the mmo. My mistake, thanks for the correction.
Yeah, the Revan novel and TOR established her name iirc
It was prior to that
only thing TOR made that canon for sure is Mullet guy as the correct choice
>Revan in the middle thinking "I'm going to have to kill both of these useless fucks someday"
https://starwars.fandom.com/wiki/Breast
BOOBA
lmao
I've been on the wiki every other day for 6 months now, searching up shit for a SWSE campaign and it will never stop being funny to see 'breast' as the top trending search.
>great
>is LUL EVULZ
>not even threatening with that orange jumpsuit
You can just ask for a kotor thread, gay
He sounds cool, he's swole as fuck and he's a huge fucking asshole. He's the Brad to your Chad.
I remember the final battle being ungodly hard for some reason until I just raped him with thermal detonators.
You probably failed your build at some point or played Sentinel.
Malak has a few tanks of jedi juice that he runs over and drains for HP. Just use destroy droid or drain life on them before he can.
His ONLY gimmick is that he has several healthbars, so removing them takes all of the danger out of the fight.
