Optimization mods to make it run better, if you're interested in the vanilla experience. Otherwise I'd just browse around for a mod pack that delivers whatever suits your fancy
Doesn't Curse require a Twitch login and shit? Prism isn't perfect, especially since Curse can block third-party software, but it's actually really easy to use. You even get links to whatever it failed to download so you can grab it yourself and just drag-and-drop into the launcher
The new cave generation is so fucking bad
I got on just fine for 10 years with the old one. I have no idea why zoomers with ADHD can't cope with stupid shit being changed all the time.
Fuck, I don't even know anymore, the last time I played was about a decade or so ago, probably more.
I think my two favorite mods were called Spidercraft, which lets you play as a drider lay eggs in enemies and gain spiderling companions, and the other was just villagecraft or some shit that added npcs and your own town before vanilla villagers became a thing.
Last I played was when tekkit was new, but that just felt like waaay too much bloat. It had compertercraft though, which was pretty cool.some blue haired gamer girl emulated a lua based OS in Java, you could do a bunch of really cool stuff with it. Spacecraft was pretty damn rad too.
Oh, and the airship mod from way back in the day was pretty neat too. You pretty much just build a ship, slap the control block on it, and make sure it's not connected to anything else lest it crash, and you can fly the thing around. Eventually, it started to support chest & furnace inventories. Fucking awesome. If I remember correctly though, the update that added beds broke the mod however.
Maybe you'd enjoy Create. It doesn't have airships (yet) but it has trains and vehicles, and there's a mod for it that adds rockets and a space dimension
I like Ars Nouveau, it's a magic mod that encourages you to go out into the world and look for different biomes and structures since you need specific materials to unlock new spells.
Reminds me of another oldschool mod that was called thaumaturgy or thaumcraft or something.
It added a Terraria-esque corrupted biome full of thaumic energy that you could not only harvest, but also pump through pipes and utilize for enchantments and new spellsand such.
Wrong, it’s you that’s boring. Your hollow consciousness cannot imagine the simplest of things without being told. Imagine if you didn’t have breakfast, how would that make you feel? You cannot answer because you’re a literal NPC. Continue consooming what media tells you is good.
If you actually find minecraft fun, you would find life to be good.
Minecraft is the same as real life because there's no purpose in it.
I play video games because real life have no purpose.
So why would I be playing minecraft? A game with no purpose?
play a CTM map
I recommend renderxr's stuff, or one of the old Super Hostile maps like Legendary
Most need to be played on a specific minecraft version so make sure you get that right
None, just be a creative person
being creative doesn't fix the shallow survival gamemode ya tard
Oh heavens! Can you imagine that, a game where you don't have to micromanage every little thing?! That sounds so horrible.
Survival isn't the point if you view Minecraft as an artistic medium.
the main gamemode is literally called survival and it does a bad job at being that
who said anything about micromanaging. i just want better progression and mobs that arent braindead
we all know you can make pixel art with the blocks for reddit, but it’d be nice if the core gameplay and mobs werent shit

Millenaire
The mod that gives you severe autism
download curse and use modpacks.
You don't need the Curse client to use their mod packs. Prism Launcher can do it, too
True but i feel like curse is the "easiest" to handle.
It's not. Prism grabs modpacks from Curse, Technic, and some others easily and without some invasive always-running client
