Rockstar is desperate for feedback so they need to post here.
GTAV failed horribly in its radio. There was too much rap and trap shlock. GTA:VC was the best because it was hit music that most of the playerbase had not really heard before--and when they did hear it, it had roots in a past generation of music.
Go the route of GTA3: do insane GOOD music that is relatively underground and novel. youll have to find musicians with varying levels of followers and fanbases, but good lord, the crap in GTAV was dogshit, do NOT do that again
>GTAV failed horribly in its radio. There was too much rap and trap shlock.
Then don't choose the two Designated Rap Stations? Also fuck you West Coast Classics was easily in the top 3. >GTA:VC was the best because it was hit music that most of the playerbase had not really heard before
Ah yes, such niche unknown musicians like Blondie, Hall & Oates, and Motley Crue.
>GTA:VC was the best because it was hit music that most of the playerbase had not really heard before--and when they did hear it, it had roots in a past generation of music.
lmao
>yeah i'm calling in to request uh any music that aint this >stop playing everything you've been playing because your music sounds like a dumpster rolling down five flights of stairs
>GTAV failed horribly in its radio
imagine unironically hating non stop pop fm >GTA:VC was the best because it was hit music that most of the playerbase had not really heard before--and when they did hear it, it had roots in a past generation of music.
lmao what the fuck it was a baby's first 80's hits sampler
>got into a habit with the older games of always switching to the talk radio because it was funny >playing GTAV >hijack a random car >Music Sounds Better With You starts playing >mfw
I probably know every song on that station by heart at this point
I just hope they are willing to bring equal talent for the score as they did for V. People kind of sleep on the score for the game. Tangerine Dream, The Alchemist and DJ Shadow is a collab dream team.
See how not including San Fierro and Las Venturas into V fucked up the flow of things? You are jumping to a similar location in the same era. There is not much to work with.
>Las Venturas
Still pissed they didn't include it. Hell, even the one casino is Los Santos isn't accessible, at least in story mode. No fucking clue if they managed to make it work Online.
>current hip hop station >classic hip hop station >current pop station >classic pop station >current rock station >classic rock station >country station >talk radio
I'll be waiting for my pay cheque rockstar.

>gta5 failed horribly in its radio. too much rap and trap shlock.
you know you can change the radio station right?
It was fine on release but they added more rap stations over the years, LSUR is good though.
Rockstar has a record label now, expect more zoomie """"music"""".
Vice City is filled with famous 80s music are you retarded?

Bring back V-Rock and include all the tracks in Vice City and Vice City Stories. Then some more from the same bands.
And since it's modern way Florida, you absolutely have to have a country station. Jason Aldean, Luke Bryan, all that good stuff.
fuck blinding lights https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E3QiD99jPAg
based
>Florida
>Vanilla Ice, 2 Live Crew, Ghetto Boyz and other groups people are listening to in 2023

It's modern day so it doesn't matter it'll all be shit, bar the retro station.
Mass of the fermenting dreggs, shed theory and anime osts
>What songs should be in GTA VI?
Would love to see Mr Gormley get global recognition
I like this song and always thought it sounded like something you'd hear in a GTA trailer
I just hope they are willing to bring equal talent for the score as they did for V. People kind of sleep on the score for the game. Tangerine Dream, The Alchemist and DJ Shadow is a collab dream team.
I'm pretty sure Tangerine Dream is returning for VI.
I don't know, its difficult when its set in the present day.
It's modern day, so a bunch of zoomer soundcloud rappers plus some "classic" stations featuring music from the 2000s
See how not including San Fierro and Las Venturas into V fucked up the flow of things? You are jumping to a similar location in the same era. There is not much to work with.
They don't care, they're gonna print money off the name and the online mode alone.
>Las Venturas
Still pissed they didn't include it. Hell, even the one casino is Los Santos isn't accessible, at least in story mode. No fucking clue if they managed to make it work Online.
They made it work in Online, its kinda ugly. I remember being naive back then thinking we would get new maps as DLC.
