What the f happened to Nintendo. I just watched a video on youtube talking about the development for Wind Waker. Nintendo back then had so many great ideas for the game, but sadly only about 1 and half years to work on it, they literally still implemented ideas one day before release, and some other ideas had to be but due to hardware limitations. Yet despite all that the game, while a bit short on content, had still some of the best Zelda content ever.
Cut to 15 years later and Nintendo despite more then double the development time and much better hardware releases a Zelda game that has only like 3 enemies, even less real unique dungeons then Wind Waker, a terrible art style and only 3 real unique items.
I wish the Zelda team from Wind Waker would have had the time and hardware then the Breath of the Wild team.
Nintendo died when Iwata died
At least their soul did
Do you want Nintendo consoles to be no gamestations like everyone else because that's what you get when you beg for more unfocused garbage in every release
Nintendo only makes good products when they are struggling.
A Nintendo being bathed in praise and profits is a lazy Nintendo devoid of innovation, risk, or passion.
>A lazy pile of shit vs another lazy pile of shit
Botw is better. Transition now and get it over with, OP
Like you did? You have to become a troony to like BotW
Can you link the Wind Waker video you watched anon? Been super depressed lately and would love a good doc filled w nostalgia
> had still some of the best Zelda content ever.
such as?
>Zelda game that has only like 3 enemies
Bokoblins, Moblins and their Stalfo varieties, Lynels, Lizalfos and all their varieties, Wizzrobes and all their versions, all the bats, Yiga, octoroks and their varieties, all the chuchus, packs of wolves, Hinox, Talus, Molduga, all the guardian scouts, the guardian stalker, the guardian helicopter.
that's way more than 3.
> even less real unique dungeons then Wind Waker
the shrine quests alone require more brainpower and/or skill than any WW dungeon. In fact, just the island quest where you're stripped of all your gear is more fun than 90% of WW. I still wish the 4 beasts were better and had more variety, but that alone doesn't make BotW worse or more low effort than WW
> a terrible art style
that's just you having shit taste
> only 3 real unique items
are you moronic? this game has more items than any zelda game ever. Tons of unique weapons, bows, arrows, shields, 4 runes, clothing and gear with effects, and a whole compendium's worth of misc.
items
>I wish the Zelda team from Wind Waker would have had the time and hardware then the Breath of the Wild team.
I wish you'd stop being a moronic nostalgiagay.
what is the point of this webm?
easy puzzle for zoomers, there's literally nothing else to do in the room
was the og like that too or did the Wii U make it easier?
A really bizarre optional puzzle that yoou'd have to be literally braindead to miss. Feels like it's only there to explain how the KoRL got into Ganons Tower because you opened the way from insdie.
except the newest zelda sold better than any other zelda by a mile
Wind Waker was fun but I prefer BotW. Admittedly I am not a Zelda fan, but BotW went beyond my expectations.
>I am not a Zelda fan, but BotW went beyond my expectations
Congrats you're everything wrong with modern Zelda.
My first Zelda game was TLoZ, and while I initially didn't like BoTW, it grew on me. I'd rank it alongside ALttP as favorites, and I admit that the latter might be lower but for nostalgia and a love for pixel art.
I'm sorry but I just couldn't get into OOT or any of the other 3D titles. I enjoyed Link's Awakening as a kid but the series never really clicked with me. Hate me if you want but I'm still looking forward to BotW 2.
>they literally still implemented ideas one day before release
That's not how any of this works in a world before patches
